Chapter 29. Begging to Papi

Arion looked at his son cynically. However he pleads, Arion will never tell the truth.

"It's not so, Pi. My apologies and questions about Karen's whereabouts are two different things, Pi. Why connect them?" Rico tried to stay calm. He must not let Arion suspect him, even though what Papi said was his goal.

Arion smiled disdainfully, the middle-aged man got up from his chair and walked over to Rico. "Maybe for you it's two different things, but according to my interpretation it's related to each other," explained Arion, "Your sudden arrival is predictable. So there's no need to hide your true purpose."

Rico who heard that was a little stiffened, the young man could not believe that Arion had clearly guessed the purpose of his arrival. Secretly one-handed Rico clenched tightly, he refrained from punching his Papi in the face.

"Then it's good, I won't pretend anymore." Rico looked at Arion with a hint of arrogance. Actually, he can't stand facing Arion. "Please tell me where Karen is now? Where did Papi hide it?" ask Rico.

Arion who saw how to ask his son could only pat Rico on the shoulder slowly. "Calm down, it doesn't have to be that way. She's fine, your mama's in a safe place" Arion replied very calmly. Even he deliberately pressed his tone at the end of the sentence.

"I can report Papi with a kidnapping case" Rico threatened.

Rico's remark made Arion smile cynically. He went back to his son.

"Did you forget she was my legal wife? Wherever I take it, no one can forbid it!" arion said with great emphasis.

Rico slightly did not accept the words of your Mama and the legitimate wife, but for the time being he could not say anything more. If he refutes, there will be a debate that might make Arion even more angry and will not say anything about Karen's whereabouts.

"Why are you so curious about your Mama's whereabouts, hm? Are you worried as a mom or a lover?" asked Arion with a cynical smile.

"Because I'm worried about him. As a son, I'm also worried about him, because I haven't seen him in a long time. So please tell me where Mami is now?" Rico emphasized his voice. He couldn't stand all this anymore.

"If as a lover, of course I'm more worried. But I realize now that it's off-limits" Rico said.

"I'm not going to tell you. Sorry." After saying that Arion immediately went from the presence of Rico, but swiftly the young man held his Papi arm.

"Please, Pi. Tell me where Karen is, I promise after this I'll stay away as long as Papi tells me where she is. I just want to make sure if he's okay or not" Rico said sincerely.

"No matter how hard you beg, I won't say where Karen is" Arion said, then he took Rico's hand off and left.

Rico stared at her Papi's departure with a restraining anger. "If you can't, maybe I should do it sneaky to know where Karen is" Rico said in her heart.
