Chapter 36. Knowing the Truth

Rico quietly pleads with Arion for the man to divorce Karen. He also pleaded not to hurt Karen again.

Rico knelt down before Arion. With a voice pleading with her Papi.

"I'm sorry for me and Karen, Pi. Please release Karen. If Papi wants to avenge what we did, he can do it to me. Don't hurt Karen. I started it all. I teased Karen and asked her to hook up again. I deserve to be punished, not Karen" Rico said in a hoarse voice holding back tears.

Rico did not care if he was currently the center of attention of people around them. Rico just wants Arion to free Karen, because right now the seed is in the woman's womb.

Maybe if Karen wasn't pregnant with her child, Rico wouldn't be be begging like this. He fears Arion is hurting the woman he loves after learning Karen is pregnant.

Yesterday Arion only knew that Rico and Karen were in a relationship, but didn't think that so far they've been behind it. However, Arion does not know if the incident was beyond Karen's control and power. All the work of his son Rico.

"Anyway and until whenever you plead, I will never divorce Karen. I want you to feel how you suffered while away from loved ones. For you and Karen to feel the pain and regret for betraying me!" arion said in a flat voice.

After that Arion walked away leaving Rico still on his knees. The man immediately sat on the floor as soon as Arion left. Without tears falling down her cheeks.

"Lord, I know what I'm doing is wrong. But I beg you not to punish me by separating from Karen.I love her very much. I can't live without him" Rico said with tears streaming down his cheeks.

"The beauty of love can fade when the ordeal comes, I have to face the ordeal patiently, so that the beautiful love returns beautiful and does not leave me. I'm sure everything will be beautiful in time" Rico said in his heart.

Rico wakes up, and sits on a bench waiting for the patient's family. One of the nurses came out of the ER room.

"Is there a family of patients named Karen?" ask the nurse.

"I'm Karen's family. What's up, huh?" ask Rico.

"We're moving the patient to the ICU. Has the administration and registration been completed?" ask the nurse.

"I'll finish it. The important thing is to do what's best for Karen. Do I know what really happened to Karen?" ask Rico.

He was still curious about what happened to Karen. I haven't got a definite answer yet. Rico only knew his girlfriend was in critical condition.

"Why don't you know if your family is right?" the nurse was a little suspicious.

"I'm only told if my boyfriend goes to the hospital. But don't know what happened actually!" rico said firmly.

"The patient seems to be trying to kill himself. This can be seen from the wound on his wrist that is quite deep, and seen from patients who have a lot of blood loss," said the nurse.

Rico was shocked to hear the truth. His blood boiled remembering all that. Karen was so depressed she wanted to commit suicide. What her Papa did to the woman he loved so much that he tried to end his life.

Rico added any stick he would face to be able to bring Karen out of Arion. Luckily, the effort he was in was growing. So Rico sure can make Karen and her son happy later.
