FLOWER WARS

FLOWER WARS
Chapters. 5. Killing Disrupters.

"Val me niet lastig (Don't bother me)!"

The shout made the Flower that was about to enter his class, stop its steps. He knows that voice. Even knew him well.

He looked to the side of the building. There were two boys, both white, in ESL uniforms; shirts and shorts were light brown.

The two boys were cornering Jacob against the wall. Intimidate it with rough hand movements. Jacob tried to defend himself. But it seems he is still desperate.

"Hey!" exclaim Flowers. "Hou op (stop it)!" He walked closer to the three. Then, position himself between Jacob and the two boys.

"Inlander (Native base)!" maki is one of them, who has brown hair. "Not to interfere!"

"Don't bother my friend!" hardik Bunga braved himself. He wanted to protect Jacob. He hates bullying like this.

"Flower, move!" jacob orders from behind the Flower's back.

The two boys laughed out loud. "Losers befriended native dogs. It's chic!" The green-eyed boy spat right in front of the Flower's feet.

The Blood Flower instantly boiled. He doesn't like those words. He does not like to be confused with a dog. To him, it was an unforgivable humiliation.

Bugh

Bugh

Flower's fist landed on the stomachs of the two boys without any cue. It's no longer about defending Jacob, but, it's about his self-esteem being trampled on. Flowers beat them both out. Whether he got strength from nowhere, clearly, the two boys were now sprawled with faces covered in blood.

"Flower, hou op (stop it)!" Jacob grabbed the Flower's hand, as the girl was about to continue beating the two.

Jacob dragged the Flower running away from the place. Both are heading out of school. And keep running until it reaches the river bank which is far from the back of the school building.

Both of them bowed their hands at the knees. Their breaths are stingy.

"You're crazy" Jacob said, looking for a seat. He then climbed onto a large rock with a fairly flat surface, and sat on it.

Flowers chuckling. He sat next to Jacob, with his breathing beginning to settle. "I'm satisfied."

"They're bleeding." Jacob's face looked worried. Looks like this matter won't end until here.

"They deserve it" said Bunga without the slightest regret.

"You'll be sought by the police."

"Oh, huh?"

Jacob chuckling. "I'm kidding."

Flowers hit Jacob's shoulder stifling. Then the girl spread her gaze around the clear watery river where there are many large rocks. On the far left of the nun, they saw their school building.

"Because ..I am quiet, do not want to hang out with them, and would rather be friends with you than with my own countrymen."

"Because they're bothering you?" Flowers round both eyes.

Jacob nodded, then raised his shoulders. "It looks so."

Flower Face pouting. His hands he shook to reduce the pain due to the hard beatings of the two boys who disturbed Jacob.

"I don't like them calling me a native dog" said Bunga.

"I don't like it either. I want to beat them up too. But it seems like you have enough. If I go after them, they'll die."

"Let them die."

"Well, you're cruel, yeah."

"They're more ruthless" said Bunga quickly. His eyes looked far ahead. "Your people are cruel."

"But, I don't" said Jacob, making Flowers turn towards him.

Flowers remembered her mother's words, although she and Jacob were friendly, all would change as they grew up. Maybe they will take a different path.

"James ...."

"Ja?"

The flower took a deep breath. "Are we always going to be friends until we grow up?"

"Natuurlijkp. Waarom (Of course. Why)"

"I don't know. I just want to ask you a question and hear your answer." The flower picked up a pebble next to it, then threw it into the river.

Flowers believe Jacob's words, but perhaps it will be the gap between them one day - if you grow up, what do you want to be?" ask Flowers.

"My father wants me to go into the army."

"Owh, so."

"What about you?"

Flowers were silent for a moment. He stared at the clear sky of Semarang that afternoon. Then he turned to Jacob who was waiting for his answer.

"I want to expel those who call natives the same as dogs."
