FLOWER WARS

FLOWER WARS
Chapters 20. Never Afraid of Intimidation.

Flowers heard the news there had been a violent altercation between Anna and Laura, yesterday at school. It just so happened that he did not enter because he had to help his mother prepare food for tahlilan at their home in the evening.

Bunga guessed what the problems of the two Dutch girls were. Jacob. They must be fighting over his best friend.

That day, Bunga was a little astonished by Anna's uncharacteristic attitude. The girl who was usually friendly to him, now always threw a cynical look at him.

The flowers don't really care. Until that afternoon when all the disciples rested outside, including Jacob; his valet would meet one of the teachers, Anna met Bunga at her desk.

"Ik wil met je praten (I want to talk to you)" said Anna.

"Doe maar (Please)" said Bunga as he closed the book he was reading.

Anna put both arms on the table. "About Jacob."

"Ja? What's wrong with her?" ask Bunga while frowning.

"I don't like you being so close to Jacob." Anna made her point without further ado.

Flowers chuckling. "I've been friends with Jacob since childhood. She's mybest friend. There's no way I'm not close to him."

"I don't care about that!" sergeant Anna.

Anna, who is usually sweet, now looks fierce. To the extent that Bunga thought that the sweet attitude of the girl all this time was fake. Today he is showing his true face.

But the flower did not tremble at all. Anna has not given a clear reason why she should stay away from Jacob. "Who are you? Jacob's girlfriend?" tanyanya.

"In a moment," Anna replied confidently. "It's not just a lover, but I'll be engaged to Jacob."

Flowers round his eyes. Anna is getting engaged to Jacob. He wonders. Jacob once said that his parents intended to match him with Laura. Why now Anna's getting engaged to him.

"You think Laura's getting engaged to Jacob, huh?" Anna smiled cynically. "My family background is more worthy to be a Janssen family member."

Anna was the daughter of the deputy Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies. His parents were in Batavia, and he was in Semarang with his uncle's family who served as director at the city's only sugar factory.

"What's your reason for keeping me close to Jacob? Are you afraid I'll take it from you?" ask Flowers.

"Jacob always talks about you when he's with me. I don't like."

The flower pulled the corner of her lips. Jacob never told her this. He was often with Anna. What the young man said was, he didn't like Anna. Jacob had even been angry with him when he tried to become a Matchmaker for them.

"Why? You don't like it? Or maybe you're hoping to be Jacob's girlfriend?" ask Anna cynically. "Never dream of becoming Jacob's lover. You know who you are and your degree."

Flowers feel holding back the overflow of his rage. He hated when there were Dutch people who reminded him of the degree of the natives in their eyes. If only Bunga could not help himself, he would have slapped the beautiful girl across the table.

"I also want to tell you, if from now on, we switch seats."

"Why should I change seats? Since I first entered school I've been sitting here" said Bunga. He refused to be treated by the white girl.

"I told you that I don't like you being close to Jacob? Are you stupid or deaf?"

Brakkk

Anna was surprised instead of playing with the sound of table buzzing done by Flowers. "If you want to get close to Jacob, have him sit down with you!"

Chest Flowers rumbling. It doesn't matter what Jacob and Anna's relationship is. What made him ride the apoplexy was the insults thrown by Anna. That's what makes flowers not accepted.

"This is my chair and I'm not moving anywhere!" firmly Flower. He challenged Anna's sharp eyes.

Anna snorted in annoyance. However, a moment later his face turned cold when he saw Jacob enter the classroom.

"Jacob, zeg tegen dit meisje dat ze met mij van plaats moet wisselen (tell him to change seats with me)," Anna pinta as she wrestled on Jacob's shoulder.

Jacob who was feeling uneasy released Anna's hand from his shoulder. "Waarom moet and van stoel wissel (Why switch seats)?" he asked Anna with a face that he did not like.

"Because I want to sit with you," Anna replied in a spoiled voice.

"The flowers will not move anywhere. He's sitting here with me!" firmly Jacob made a pair of beautiful eyes Anna made and her mouth gaping.

"Why can that be, Jacob? I don't want you to get close to him!" erang Anna's.

Jacob folded his arms in front of his chest. "I want to be close to the flowers. What do you want?"

Anna flabbergasted. He did not expect Jacob to defend Flowers more than he did. Moreover, the girl was a lowly native.

"Go to your seat!" jacob's orders to Anna.

The long brown disembodied girl grunted back to her chair. Then the other students began to arrive.

"You should be sitting there" said Bunga, moving his chin towards Anna, who was sitting in the second row from the front.

"Lazy!" sahut Jacob while dropping his bo kong on a chair beside Bunga.

"He is your future fiancee" Bunga reminded.

Jacob's eyes narrowed at the Flower. "Fiancee candidate?" tanyakanya.

"Ja. Fiancee."

"Where did you hear about the bird?"

"He said it himself."

Jacob clucking. Then shake. "It was the plan of both of our parents. But, I will definitely refuse."

The flower fluttered his hand thinking Jacob's words were only the wind then. The reason, several times Jacob said he was betrothed to high-class girls by his parents. And Jacob always refused. Flowers did not understand why Jacob was acting that way.

"I told you I wanted to marry you, Bunga."

Pukkkk

Flowers hit Jacob's head slowly with the book in his hand. "Your glimmer is not funny!" skink.
