Finding True Love Aishah

Dinner

The night is getting late, visitors at the restaurant are also getting less and less. The night air that blows feels more and more bone-piercing. However, it seems that Aldi and Aishah are still at home to sit in their respective seats. Not many words they say. Sometimes they just look at each other. Sometimes their gazes meet each other and make Aishah blush. It seems they want to just let go of the longing that has been stirring in the heart that they can not express to each other.

"In, it's night, let's go home." Aishah saw the clock on her wrist already showing at eleven o'clock in the evening.

"I still want to be here looking at the stars with you, because it calms my heart so much." Aldi leaned his body on the chair, then looked at the star-studded night sky.

"But it's already evening, visitors here also stay a little. Maybe this restaurant will close soon." Aishah looked at the visitors around him who had started to leave one by one.

"Aish, I still miss you a lot. Right now I don't want anything but to be with you, that's all." Aldi looked at Aishah for a while then looked back at the sky.

"I can't imagine how Dr. Viola would feel if he saw that we were still here until last night." Aishah folded her hands in front of her chest.

"Why do you have to think about the feelings of others Aish, why don't you just think about your own feelings?" Aldi fixed his sitting position.

"What should I think about my feelings?" Aishah pretended not to know.

"You don't pretend you don't know what I mean. You must have understood the meaning of my words earlier." Now Aldi looked at Aishah with a sharp look.

"I really don't know Di. Because I've been thinking about my feelings all this time." Aishah defended herself.

"Okay, then. Now you answer me the question honestly!" Aldi looked at Aishah with an increasingly sharp gaze. Aishah until the confusion he made. Aishah felt the gaze stab at her so much that she could not twitch to avoid the gaze.

"How do you feel about me right now?" Aldi looked at Aishah's eyes without blinking. Aishah was speechless, she was confused as to what to answer. It was impossible if he had been honest with Aldi about his feelings all along. Because Aishah had promised Doctor Dariel to unite Aldi with Doctor Viola. Aishah has also told Aldi that she loves Doctor Dariel.

"Why is Aish silent? I just want to know how you feel right now for me to be honest." Aldi did not let go of his eyes to Aishah.

"What else should I talk about? Isn't everything clear?" Aishah looked the other way so as not to meet the glare of Aldi's sharp eyes.

"You just have to be honest with your own feelings Aish. You don't have to sacrifice your feelings for anyone!" Aldi held Aishah's hand on the table. However, Aishah quickly pulled her hand from Aldi's.

"I'm being honest." Aishah still avoided Aldi's eyes. And apparently Aldi had read Aishah's letter. He knew that Aishah was hiding something from him.

You are still trying to cover up the truth about how you feel about me Aish, when it is obvious that you still love me.

"Now look me in the eye and tell me the truth about how you feel about me right now. Do you really not love me? Do you really love Dariel?" Aldi held Aishah's hands on the table and looked Aishah in the eyes gently. A look full of meaning.

Aishah was silent again. His lips were faint, his mouth was unable to open the slightest sound. Aishah is worried. Aishah is not good at hiding the truth. Moreover, to lie, he was truly an amateur liar.

I can't lie to Aldi anymore, he'll know the truth soon enough.

"Alright Di, whatever you want to say about my feelings to you, it won't change anything either." Aishah closed her eyes. His eyes began to run down the river.

"So it's been my guess all along. That you still love me Aish. You never loved anyone but me." Aldi was very happy. It was like finding an oasis in an arid desert. His eyes look sparkling. "If only Viola is your reason to stay away from me, I'll speak frankly about how I've been feeling to her all along." Aldi clasped Aishah's hand. It seemed like this time he really did not want to release Aishah again from his life.

"No Di, you can't be like that. You'd be a very bad person if you did." Aishah tried to pull his hand from Aldi's grasp, but in vain. Aldi clasped his hands tightly on the table.

"Are you sure no one will get hurt?" Aishah is still not convinced.

"You believe me. With the power of our love, I'm sure everything will be fine and going smoothly." Aldi again convinced Aishah.

Aishah took a long breath. Then returned Aldi's eyes gently. He tried to tell the truth.

"Alright Di, all your words are true. I still love you. But what can we do now with our situation? What are we gonna do now?" Aishah looked at Aldi with a pushy look.

"Many Aish, we can do many things. Because we already know each other's feelings are honest. Let's assure Viola of Dariel's love for him." Aldi wiped away the tears that started to drip on Aishah's cheeks.

"All we need to do first is we have to turn Viola's attention to Dariel, resuscitating Viola about all the attention Dariel has given him." Aldi began to strategize initially.

"All right, it's up to you." Aishah seemed hesitant to do what Aldi told him. Actually Aishah is still thinking about her promise to Doctor Dariel to unite Aldi's relationship with Doctor Viola. However, if Aishah did it anyway, more hearts would be hurt.

The night is getting late, the restaurant where Aldi and Aishah eat is also about to close. Aldi and Aishah decided to go home. Aldi drove Aishah home first.

"Tonight has been a very special night for me." At times Aldi looked at Aishah, but remained focused on his wheel.

Aishah looked at Aldi who was focusing on driving. She looked astonished at the man beside her. He's still the same, still the Aldi he used to know. Aldi who always never give up, especially when it comes to the happiness of Aishah. Aldi will be the first to fight for that happiness. It turned out that Aldi was aware of Aishah's gaze. He immediately returned that look.

"Thank you for dinner this time Aish.." Aldi looked at Aishah occasionally.

An hour had Doctor Viola and Doctor Dariel struggling in the operating room. They're struggling with someone's life in there. Upon arrival at the hospital, the patient was transferred to the operating room. Doctor Dariel and Doctor Viola immediately changed into sterile clothes to perform surgery immediately. In front of the operating room, the patient's family was already visibly waiting anxiously. There are even those who cry constantly.

Dr. Viola and Dr. Dariel walked out of the operating room after an hour inside. Judging from their faces, they looked extremely exhausted. Before exiting the operating room, Doctor Dariel and Doctor Viola cleared themselves first.

"How's Doc my son's condition?" One of the middle-aged women approached Doctor Viola and Doctor Dariel who had just come out of the operating room.

"The operation was successful, the mother's son is now in recovery. It may take about one to two hours for your child to get out of his coma." Doctor Viola explained at length to the mother of the patient he was handling.

The mother and other family of the patient seemed relieved. The tiredness felt by Doctor Viola and Doctor Dariel was immediately gone to see the happy faces in front of him. They unceasingly thanked Doctor Viola and Doctor Dariel. Seeing Doctor Viola smiling happily, Doctor Dariel felt very happy. Then they walked towards Doctor Viola's room.

"Thank God, tonight's operation went well. Although it takes an easy fight. Thank you Riel for helping out with the operation tonight. Without you I don't know anymore how this operation works." Doctor Viola held Doctor Dariel's shoulder with a happy smile.

"You're great Vio. I'm just helping out a little bit and the rest you can handle everything really well." Doctor Dariel returned Doctor Viola's gaze warmly. Now they can breathe a sigh of relief, because the operation this time went smoothly.

"To celebrate our success, how about tomorrow I'll treat you. You're free to eat anything at our favorite restaurant as you please." Doctor Viola sat on the sofa in his room. Then followed Doctor Dariel who also sat nearby.

"agree! I'll pick you up tomorrow." Doctor Dariel smiled happily.

"It's almost morning, we better get home soon." Doctor Viola saw the clock on his wrist already showing three o'clock in the morning.

"All right, I'll take you." Doctor Dariel got up from his seat.

"Come on." Doctor Viola also stood up and took his bag. Then they walked out to the hospital parking lot to pick up Doctor Dariel's car.

Tonight, Doctor Dariel felt very happy to be able to see the happy smile of Doctor Viola. And so did Doctor Viola. Even though his dinner with Aldi had to fail, Doctor Viola was still happy to save one life tonight.
