Aldi's lies

"I? Of course I love you as my best friend. I will always support you as long as it is for your happiness. Even I already consider you like Alya, my own sister."

By enduring his heartache Aldi continued to pretend to look tough and remain ordinary in front of Aishah.

"But, your concern for me all along, is it just that?"

Aishah still hopes Aldi says that he loves Aishah more than friends. However, it seems that Aldi was not affected and still restrained with his stance.

"Aish, we've been friends for a long time, and that feeling remains the same, you're my best friend from High School and forever will be like that."

Aldi said it without looking into Aishah's eyes, even occasionally Aldi facing back looking at the crowd of malls. All that Aldi did to cover up his feeling of being smashed to pieces like crumbs of dust. Aldi did not want Aishah to see the sadness that emanated very clearly on his face, so Aldi always took his eyes off Aishah.

Aishah's eyes began to run down the river. White crystal grains began to drip from the tip of his eyes. As hard as he held back he could not stem the rush of tears that continued to flow on his cheeks.

Tega you Aldi, when it is clear in your face that you are lying. I am very familiar with your attitude that is not calm if you are lying. Butwhy? why should you lie to your own feelings? Though I've thrown away all my embarrassment to ask directly about your feelings for me. So that you can be honest with me. But what, you're breaking my heart. Do you really just think of me as a friend? Do you really not have the affection that I love you?

Aishah just kept muttering in her heart. The tears that kept flowing were just her with both hands.

"Sorry Aish, but don't cry here for a lot of people to see." Aldi held out a box of tissues lying on the table. But Aishah refused and immediately left Aldi just like that.

"Aish, where are you going?" Aldi stood up from his seat. Aldi goes after Aishah. But Aishah continued to leave Aldi regardless of Aldi's questions.

But Aldi's steps stopped, free he pursued it. Because his heart was broken, what was he trying to say with Aishah. It will only worsen the relationship between the two of them. Thought Aldi. Then Aldi buried his head in both hands resting on the table. Aldi kept beating his own head.

"Stupid... stupid.."

Aldi kept saying he was stupid. He felt like the dumbest person in the world because he made his loved ones cry. This was the first time Aldi had made Aishah cry. 

Because usually Aldi is the one who always wiped Aishah's tears when Aishah was crying, always there for Aishah when Aishah needed, always protecting Aishah and making her always smile. But what Aldi did this time had made Aishah really hurt.

"Sorry Aish.." Aldi shouted softly with tears that had flooded his hands. 

"It's all for your happiness. I'm sorry I had to hurt you this deep. Because you'll be sicker if you keep on with me."

Aldi continued to mumble softly. Aldi is really not strong if you have to see Aishah crying. It used to be all Aldi did to keep Aishah from crying. So that Aishah can smile happily.

Even once in a day, Aldi was willing to be a clown so that Aishah did not grieve. At that time Aishah was hostile by her High School class sister, because Aishah was considered to have snatched the girlfriend of the upperclassman. Though Aishah never did it, it was her upperclassman's boyfriend who always bothered Aishah.

Aldi, who knew this, immediately went to his upperclassman's girlfriend and beat him to death. So that makes Aldi got into big trouble. Even Aldi had to get a week-long suspension from his class teacher, because he was involved in the fight.

But Aldi never felt sorry to get punishment from his teacher. Even Aldi was satisfied to have made his brash upperclassmen always bother Aishah was deterred. Aishah knows this, so Aishah feels very guilty.

Until one day Aishah and Aldi went to the park, there was a clown who was entertaining children. Aldi still saw Aishah's sad face and felt guilty for making Aldi should be punished. Aldi comes to the clown without Aishah's knowledge. Aldi put on a clown costume and came to Aishah and gave him a lot of roses. Makes Aishah feel very happy not overbearing.

Suddenly Aldi felt very dizzy. His head hurt a lot. Aldi was not strong enough to hold his weight and make him fall drooping on the floor. Aldi was unconscious. When Aldi woke up, he was already in the hospital.

"Mas Aldi is in the hospital." One of the men in a white shirt standing by the bed answered his question.

"Whose father?" Aldi asked the man because he felt he had never seen him.

"I'm the manager of the restaurant that Mas Aldi came to earlier, I happen to be a friend of Mas Aldi's grandfather. I often go to Mas Aldi's house, but it seems like Mas Aldi never saw me." The man explained at length.

"Oh, thank you so much for bringing me here. I just felt dizzy and didn't remember anything else."

"So Mas Aldi fainted, so I immediately brought it here, I've contacted Mas Aldi's grandfather, soon he must be here."

And sure enough, Aldi's grandfather immediately came to the hospital along with his grandmother.

"What's wrong with you?" Grandma Aldi immediately approached him and put the back of his hand on Aldi's forehead to check Aldi's body temperature.

"Aldi's okay, Grandma, Aldi's just a little dizzy" Aldi smiled at his grandparents.

"Then I say goodbye, I have to go back to the restaurant." The man who took Aldi to the hospital asked for permission to return to his restaurant.

"Good sir thank you for taking my granddaughter to the hospital." Grandpa Aldi drove the man who was his friend to the door.

"Aldi has to see Aishah now Grandma." Aldi got up from his bed, and sat down on the edge of the bed.

"You're still sick Di, you can't leave yet." Grandma Aldi seemed to calm her grandson down.

"But Nek Aldi was okay, Aldi was just dizzy earlier" Aldi took off the infusion attached to his hand by force. Aldi stood up and fixed his shirt arm.

"Aldi has to go to Nek's office, Aldi has to meet with Aishah, Aldi has made Aishah sad, Aldi has to apologize."

Aldi said goodbye to his grandparents and left. Aldi's grandmother tried to prevent it, but Aldi's grandfather held Aldi's grandmother's shoulder while saying.

"Have let him go"

Arriving at Aldi's office looking for Aishah, but did not find him either. 

"Rin, did Aishah give you the results of the meeting?" Aldi asked Rina.

"Not yet, Aishah called me permission to go straight home because she was not feeling well, you were the one who accompanied Aishah meeting right? why are you asking Aishah to me?" Rina scrunched her forehead.

"Anu. Aishah told me to go to the office first, but my car tire deflated and I had to fix it in the workshop." Aldi just wanted to find an excuse so that Rina would not ask him more. Aldi feels even more guilty about Aishah. Aldi must apologize directly to Aishah. Aldi has to see Aishah.

The time has shown at three in the afternoon, it means that the time to go home from work is only one hour away. Aldi plans to go to Aishah's house after returning home. Aldi wanted to see Aishah's situation and apologized to him. Aldi was very nervous in the office. He cannot focus on his work. His mind never escaped Aishah's shadow.
