The weather is getting hotter, the heat of the sun outside is seen roasting the asphalt of the road. Make road users feel hot. Sweat continues to flow throughout the body. Moreover, coupled with air filled with dust and vehicle smoke. It really makes the weather hotter.

In the corner of the hospital, Radit was pacing around impatiently waiting for the results of the doctor's examination of his wife in the ER room. It's been 15 minutes Aishah was in the ER room, but no one came out of it. Radit was anxious, and hopefully his wife will be fine.

Not long after, a doctor came out of the ER room. Radit immediately approached the doctor.

"How's Doc, my wife's situation?" Radit looked very worried.

"Your wife is recovering inside. I have given him medication, so that the pain in his stomach is reduced. He needs rest. But if I may give advice, it seems you should check the contents of your wife to an obstetrician." The doctor explained at length.

"That's it Doc." Radit seemed to digest the doctor's words well.

"Your wife can go home later, after the medicine I gave you actually reacted. Later after he realized and already feel better. Your wife can be brought home. But it would be better, if you first check the content of your wife to a gynecologist. It just so happens that the obstetrician at this hospital is already a professional." The doctor explained at length.

Then the doctor left Radit who looked still standing looking to watch his departure. Then, Radit went into the ER room to see Aishah's state. A few minutes later, Aishah started to wake up. Aishah began to open her eyes slowly, seeing Radit being beside her with his hand holding her hand.

"Darling, you're dead." Radit brought his face closer. Aishah tried to sit with difficulty. His head still felt a bit dizzy. Radit helps support Aishah's shoulders, allowing Aishah to sit up.

"Drink first." Radit gave her a glass of water that had been provided by the hospital. Aishah accepted it, Aishah drank it a little.

"Let's drink again, baby." Radit persuades Aishah to drink again. However, Aishah shook her head.

"How did the doctor say? Aish is okay, right?" Aishah leaned against the pillow Radit had placed behind her.

"I don't know either. The doctor just said that we need to check your uterus with an obstetrician." Radit sat next to Aishah while holding his hand. Radit tried to recall what the doctor who treated Aishah had said.

"What happened to my brother?" Aishah looked confused.

"I don't know either." Radit shrugged both of his shoulders.

"About what happened to my womb, brother? Aish is worried." Aishah looks worried.

"We hope for the best. Hopefully nothing happens that we don't want to do, brother." Aishah looked at her husband with a gentle look. Then return the hand of Radit who had previously held his hand.

"You don't worry, everything's gonna be okay." Radit tries to convince Aishah that everything will be fine.

After Aishah's body was felt to be better, Aishah and Radit immediately went to the doctor's room that examined Aishah together. Along the hospital hallway, Aishah never let go of her hand. Same with Radit. That way, Radit hopes to strengthen Aishah's heart.

Suddenly there was the sound of someone calling Radit's name from a distance.

"Radit." The voice came closer to Radit and Aishah.

Then, Radit and Aishah looked back simultaneously. From a distance a young man approached. The man wore a white snelli with a stethoscope sheathed around his neck. He wears glasses with neatly combed hair. Shiny black shoes seemed to adorn his tall legs. Looks like he's a doctor. A smile adorned his full face.

He gallantly approached Aishah and Radit.

"Hey Radit, how are you doing right now?" The young doctor stopped right in front of Aishah and Radit. Then he smiled very friendly.

"Doctor Dariel...Radit widened his eyelids. Making sure that the man in front of him is his old friend who has not met for many years.

"Yes, as the doctor sees me right now, I'm doing really well." Radit smiled happily.

"Good, then this is your wife?" Doctor Dariel glanced at Aishah who had been watching him.

"Yes, this is my wife Aishah." Radit introduces Aishah to Doctor Dariel.

"Dariel." Doctor Dariel reached out his hand to shake hands with Aishah.

"Aishah." Aishah also returned Doctor Dariel's hand followed by a smile.

"Why not tell me if you're married?" Doctor Dariel protested.

"You were working abroad at the time. So there's no way you came to my wedding four years ago." Radit defended himself.

"At least you can call me or send me a message." Doctor Dariel just kept on cornering Radit.

"I don't want to trouble you." Radit patted Doctor Dariel's shoulder.

"What do you think of me! I even consider you like my own brother. You can say that." Doctor Dariel is getting upset.

"I'm sorry I really don't want to bother you, I've been troubling you too often. I just don't want to be so indebted to you." Radit smiled faintly.

"It's only fitting that you've never consulted me again, apparently you already have a new doctor who is always next to you 24 hours now." Doctor Dariel glanced at Aishah.

"You could have." Radit chuckles.

"So you're back here?" Radit.

"Yes, my job there is done, so I'm transferred here. Now I practice in this hospital." Dr. Dariel explains.

Aishah just gawked at the conversation of two friends who had not met for a long time. Because Aishah did not understand the direction of their conversation. Aishah caught on to two important things in the conversation. First Doctor Dari is Radit's old best friend who hasn't seen him in a long time. And the second Doctor Dariel was once Radit's doctor.

Did Radit Peenah get sick? Aishah muttered inwardly.

"You wanna check the contents?" Dr. Dariel guessed the purpose of Aishah and Radit, as they were now right in front of the obstetrician's room.

"We're going to check Aishah's content." Radit answered quickly.

"Yes already then, let's continue another time to talk. Looks like you've changed your phone number, so we'll have to exchange phone numbers so we can communicate again easily." Doctor Dariel took the phone out of his pants pocket. Then Radit and Doctor Dariel exchange phone numbers.

After Doctor Dariel passes away, Radit and Aishah begin to enter the gynecologist's room.

Tok…

Radit knocked on the doctor's door.

"Yes in."

Sounds authentic from within. Radit immediately opened the door of the room which turned out to be unlocked. Then Aishah and Radit entered the room. Seemed a woman doctor who was old enough to sit with her hands busy writing something on the sheets of paper in front of her.

"Please sit down." The woman's doctor pointed at the chair in front of her desk. Then Radit and Aishah sat down at the place that the female doctor had appointed.

"Thank you." Radit politely replied and sat down.

"Can I help you?" The doctor asked me kindly.

"Look Doc, my stomach is often painful when it comes to the moon. However, it was the worst that I could not stand on my own." Aishah explained what she felt.

"The causes of menstrual pain can vary. Menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea is a common thing that occurs in most women. Pain can be mild or non-intrusive. However, heavy menstrual pain that is felt in the menstrual period or persistent pain and getting heavier after menstruation can indicate the presence of certain diseases or conditions.

Menstrual pain is generally felt by some women at the beginning of the menstrual period. In some women, the pain in the lower abdomen is not so pronounced that they can still move as usual. However, some others feel pain that is unbearable to be unable to do anything.

All the time, there are smooth contractions in the muscles of the uterine wall that are generally not felt. However, during menstruation, these contractions become firmer as part of the decay of the uterine wall during menstruation. The contraction presses on the blood vessels surrounding the uterus, thereby cutting off the blood and oxygen supply to the uterus. The absence of oxygen is what causes the uterine tissue to release chemicals that create pain." The doctor explained at length.

"Then is the menstrual pain that I feel is a disease Doc?" Aishah began to look anxious, her face deathly pale.

"I can't be sure before further examination. Because the pain gets worse because the body also secretes chemicals called prostaglandins that trigger the uterine muscles to continue to contract more. Prostaglandins are chemicals produced by a woman's body and can cause many symptoms associated with menstrual discomfort. In addition, prostaglandins also trigger other conditions such as nausea, diarrhea, weakness, and headaches that often accompany pain. Allegedly, some women produce prostaglandins in more quantities so that they feel more pain than others." The doctor tries to explain what he knows to Aishah and Radit.

"So we'd better do a check on Mom first." The obstetrician told Aishah to lie on the bed to make the examination easier. With his obedience, Aishah immediately lay down in the place that the obstetrician had appointed earlier.

"How's Doc?" Aishah could not wait to hear the results of the obstetrician's examination.

"Actually some women are more at risk of experiencing menstrual pain because of more menstrual volume, having their first menstruation before the age of 11 years, being obese, have never been pregnant, or because of consuming alcoholic beverages or smoking.

So prevention efforts that can be done is to take pain relief drugs, generally menstrual pain can be relieved independently with massage, warm bath, warm drink, lying down with the legs lifted, and so on, or stick the koyo on the affected part.

Menstrual pain cannot be considered trivial. You should immediately consult a doctor if there is excessive bleeding, menstrual periods longer than usual, accompanied by fever, abnormal vaginal discharge, pain arises suddenly and feels intense in the pelvis, and, as well as the presence of signs of infection such as fever or chills and body pain during menstruation. You should also see a doctor if you experience menstrual pain accompanied by other disorders, such as difficulty getting pregnant." The obstetrician really gave extensive knowledge to Aishah and Radit.

"So the menstrual pain I feel is just a normal pain right Doc?" Aishah. Aishah got out of bed, then sat down next to Radit.

"I can't be sure yet. So in the meantime, precautions can be taken by eating foods that contain vitamin E, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, and magnesium. These ingredients apparently can reduce menstrual pain effectively. In addition, regular exercise so that body weight remains normal, avoiding the consumption of alcoholic beverages and cigarettes and reducing stress that can increase the risk of cramps and severe menstrual pain" the obstetrician advised.

"Then what's next Doc?" Aishah was still curious.

"You can come back here again tomorrow. Tomorrow the results of Aishah's mother's examination will come out." The doctor smiled kindly.

"Well then excuse me Doc." Radit and Aishah left the gynecologist's room together. Then go back home.

Radit deliberately told Aishah to rest at home. All Aishah's work, will be Radit handle alone.
