Finding True Love Aishah

Distrusting

Aishah left for the office earlier than usual. Today he has a meeting with Radit. He did not want the events that used to make him have to push his motorcycle to the workshop repeated again.

Aishah chose clothes in the closet, she found a suit that Aldi gave her at that time.

"Whose suit does Aldi have a women's suit?" Aishah muttered to herself in her room while holding Aldi's handing suit. Because of her curiosity Aishah decided to call Aldi to ask about the suit.

"Hello.." Aldi's voice was heard from across the phone.

"Aldi whose women's suits did you give me back then?" Aishah to the point.

"Oh that, Alya's suit."

"Why can you take him to work?" Aishah was still confused by the answer Aldi gave.

"Alya was here, but only two days. He flew overseas that morning, so I drove him first to the airport, but he forgot his suit. He just left it near me as we waited for the plane in the waiting room. So I just take it to the office, why Aish?" Aldi explained at length.

"Oh so, it's okay. It's weird that you have a woman's suit. Hidhi. You've gone to the office today, haven't you?"

"Here, I also just finished breakfast so just left."

"Okay, we'll see you at Aldi's bye office."

Aishah hangs up with Aldi and goes to breakfast with his budhe. After breakfast Aishah immediately say goodbye and then leave for the office.

In the office, Aishah had already seen Aldi sitting at his desk. Aldi looks very busy with some files on his hands.

"Good morning Aldi." Aishah surprised Aldi from behind.

"For Aish, I didn't leave for three days yesterday, so my work piled up." Aish just nodded her head.

"Eh Aish, you happened to have come. You're meeting with Mr Radit's company this morning?" Aldi stopped his work and looked towards Aishah.

"Well, why Di?" Aishah scrunched her forehead.

"I was told by Pak Bima to accompany you."

"Well, let's get ready."

Aishah immediately went to his desk and prepared the required files. Aishah and Aldi set off for Radit's company together. They used an office car. Arriving at Radit's office, Aishah immediately headed for the reception desk.

"Sir, we are from Jaya Abadi company, we have a meeting with Mr. Radit this morning."

The reception desk guard immediately called Radit to inform him that the person from Jaya Abadi's company had arrived.

"You've been waiting for Mr. Radit in his room, let me drop off." Aishah and Aldi headed straight for Radit's room.

Tok.dok…

"Come in"

Radit's voice came from inside the room. They went inside the spacious Radit room, there was a sofa inside. The room was equipped with a television and a toilet inside. 

"Welcome, we've been waiting for your arrival."

Radit turns to Aishah and Aldi. Then Radit invited Aishah and Aldi to sit on the sofa. There were three people sitting with Radit. Aishah and Aldi begin preparing the files to be used for the meeting.

After an hour, the meeting was over. The meeting went well. Aishah and Aldi immediately say goodbye. When Aishah and Aldi were about to go to the door, Radit called Aishah and approached him.

"Alhamdulillah, Pakdhe is well. But not allowed to go to work yet.

"Thank God, will you be able to accompany me to lunch?"

Aishah stopped his steps and looked towards Radit.

"Emm, maybe another time. I still have work to do." Aishah doesn't seem to want to have lunch with Radit this time.

Aishah and Aldi immediately headed to the parking lot and took the car. The car started out of the parking area and then sped away. On Aldi's driving trip while occasionally stealing Aishah's views from the side, Aishah seemed to be daydreaming about something.

"What's up Aish, seems like there's something you're thinking about?" Aldi broke Aishah's daydream.

"Eh.. I've been wanting to confide in you for a long time, Di, but you were sick." Aishah looked towards Aldi who was focusing on driving.

"Now that I'm healthy, you can vent as you please." Aldi looked at it for a while and refocused on the wheel.

"But you're driving "Aishah is focused on looking ahead.

Aldi stopped the car he was driving in a mall. Aldi and Aishah walked into a restaurant and ordered two drinks. Aishah was silent for a moment then let out a long sigh.

"I'm asking someone in." Aishah broke the silence between the two of them.

"What! Who?" Aldi was surprised to hear Aishah's words.

"Sister Radit." Aishah said shirk.

"Sir Radit?" Aldi makes clear what Aishah said.

"Yes, Brother Radit who was my childhood friend who was also my next door neighbor when I was in elementary school. We were seven years adrift, Kak Radit's family was already living next door to my house when my family moved out of the village. We've been betrothed since we were kids. Radit's mother was the first person who desperately wanted this match to happen, but now she is gone. So this matchmaking became a last will for Radit and his family." Aishah explained in detail.

Duaaarrr.... ! Aldi was struck by lightning in broad daylight so fiercely hearing the words of Aishah. Her chest feels very tight. Radit asked in a soft voice. 

"Do you agree?" Aldi scrunched his forehead.

"Entahlah. What reason could I refuse." Aishah shook her head.

At that time, Aishah very much hoped that Aldi asked him to refuse his match with Radit. And expressed his feelings for Aishah. So that Aishah had reason to refuse this match. Because it is impossible for Aishah to tell her feelings first to Aldi.

"What about you…?" Finally Aishah did not hold back her feelings, then asked Aldi.

"I? Meanin?" Aishah did not dare to continue his question. Aishah fell silent, they just looked at each other without a word. Then Aldi tried to make the atmosphere not awkward by repeating the question.

"You mean why me?" Actually Aldi already knew the meaning of Aishah's question. Because this is very much awaited Aldi since long ago.

"Aldi, how did you feel about me all this time?" Aishah said it without seeing Aldi.

Aldi was very worried, eager to say that he loved Aishah very much and wanted him to be the man who married him later. But Aldi could not say because of the disease he suffered so far. In recent months Aldi has had to fight against brain cancer that continues to eat away at him.

But all this time Aldi has a very high spirit so that the disease will soon heal even though it is difficult. What always makes him excited is because Aldi wants to always be with Aishah. Even Aldi had planned to propose to Aishah after Aldi recovered later. 

Why the time is not right like this. Aldi muttered in his heart.

Aldi did not want to see Aishah sad if he heard of his serious illness. Any treatment Aldi has done so that he can get well soon. Aldi did not expect that his dream should be shattered like this. Aldi cannot be honest with his feelings, however Aishah must be happy even though he is not with her. If his illness defeats him, Aldi does not want to make Aishah sad because he has to lose him forever.

The two of them just stared without sound, like a statue that was on display in a cafe. Aldi was still confused as to what to answer. Aldi had to choose good words to answer Aishah's question. His tongue seemed to freeze, it seemed as if his voice had been swallowed up by the earth. Aldi was really upset.
