Finding True Love Aishah

An alarm is ringing from a cell phone. Aishah who heard it, got carried away and rubbed his eyes. Aishah grabbed her phone and turned off the alarm. The time on the phone has been shown at 04:00 am. Aishah immediately went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. After taking the ablution water, Aishah headed for the room her family used to pray. It looks like Pak Joko and Bu Sekar are sitting together waiting for the dawn prayer. 

After performing the congregational morning prayers, Aishah immediately headed for the kitchen. In the kitchen, Bu Sekar was struggling with his cooking. Aishah immediately approached her budhe and helped her to cook. After finishing serving food at the dinner table, Aishah immediately took a shower and prepared to leave for the office. Before leaving for work, Aishah with Pak Joko and Bu Sekar enjoyed their breakfast.

"Aish, said Budhemu your motorcycle was broken?"Ask Mr. Joko on the sidelines to eat his food.

"Yes Pakdhe, now still in the workshop."

"Then you go to work with Pakdhe. Let Pakdhe take you to the office."

Aishah left for the office delivered by Mr. Joko who also left for work.

The time has shown at 16:00 pm, it means that the time for home office has arrived. Aldi approached Aishah who was busy packing his things.

"Aish, go home with yuk! this morning I saw you being ushered in with your pakdhemu, which means your motorcycle is still broken."

"But you take me to the workshop first yes di, we take my motorcycle first. The workshop guy told me that my motorcycle was ready."

"Ready"

Aldi put his right hand on his right forehead giving a salute, a sign obeying Aishah's request.

Aldi and Aishah head to the workshop where Aishah's motorcycle is repaired. After picking up his motorcycle, Aishah and Aldi return to their respective homes. 

Aldi lives with his grandparents. Both of his parents live abroad. Both of Aldi's parents moved abroad while Aldi was still in college. Aldi did not move, he wanted to finish his studies here. Aldi has a younger sister who lives with her parents. 

Aldi prefers to live with his grandparents who only live together. Another reason that makes him not move abroad is because he wants to always be close to Aishah.

Aldi has been harboring feelings for Aishah since they were in High School. At that time, they were classmates. Aldi is the class president, while Aishah serves as the class secretary. Their togetherness at all times silently made the seeds of love grow in their hearts.

But Aldi never said his feelings to Aishah, because Aldi knew that Aishah did not want to date. Aldi just keeps his feelings alone. Aldi always assured himself that when it was time he would express all his feelings to Aishah. 

Aldi's job at the moment is to always look after and protect Aishah and make him smile. Because for Aldi all that is happier than being Aishah's girlfriend. Because he wanted to always be with Aishah, Aldi went to the same college and majors as Aishah. Even when they work, Aldi goes to the same company as Aishah.

Aldi believes Aishah actually has the same feelings as him, but Aishah always takes good care of himself. It was evident when many men were close to her and asked her to be a boyfriend, Aishah always rejected her subtly. So Aldi is sure one day can be with Aishah. But still, there was always a feeling of anxiety in loving him.

After arriving at the yard, Aishah parked his motorcycle and entered the house.

"It looks like there's a guest" murmured Aishah.

"Assalamu'alaikum" Aishah knocked on the door.

"Wa'alaikum salam"

There were voices of some people from inside the house. Aishah immediately shook hands with everyone who was inside the house.

"It's Aishah" Mr. Joko introduced Aishah to his guests.

"Aishah, this is Mr. Banu and this is Radit." Aishah was still looking at Radit's face.

"Hay, we've met several times, it turns out you're the little Aish who used to be, now you're an adult huh." Aishah seemed confused by Radit's words.

"You forgot Aish, Mr. Banu who used to live in the house next door you know." Bu Sekar. After remembering for a while, Aishah remembered that her neighbor who had lived next door was Radit. But now Radit looks very different. Little Radit who used to be thin and glazed eyes. But now, Radit is growing up athletic, he doesn't wear glasses anymore.

"Sorry Aishah change clothes first to the room." Aishah rushed towards the bathroom and immediately took a shower to refresh her body. 

In the living room, Radit and Pak Banu were still talking with Mr. Joko with his familiar. It had been a long time since they had met, last meeting about 12 years ago. At that time Mr. Banu and his family will move house out of town. Because Mr. Banu opened a new business there.

Adzan magrib's voice was heard. Pak Joko invited Radit and Pak Banu to pray for congregational magrib then followed by Bu Sekar and Aishah. After praying together, Pak Joko's family always took the time to read the verses of the Qur'an first. After finishing praying together, Aishah immediately followed Bu Sekar to the kitchen. They prepared a dish for dinner.

"Let's Mr. Banu, Radit we have dinner together, you have to taste my wife's cooking."

Mr. Joko invited Mr. Banu and Radit to dinner together. They really enjoyed the dishes provided by Pak Joko's family. After dinner, they talked again.

"Aish you remember not when you were a kid, every time you played at my house you didn't want to go home. You only want to go home if I carry you to your house, when your body was chubby once and I was very thin, hehe…"

Radit starts a conversation with Aishah with his familiar. Radit seemed to remember the events of their childhood. Then Radit chuckled. Aishah seems shy to remember the events of her childhood.

"Yes, it's been a long time, brother. I have always wanted to have an older brother. But Radit's brother had to move house, I cried all night at Radit's sister."

Aishah kept up the conversation. Aishah and Radit sat on the front porch looking at the stars that night. 

"And you always ask me to teach you to do PR, even though you can already do it yourself."

"He. that's the reason Aish alone Kak, so Aish can watch the action film collection Kak Radit."

Aishah and Radit quickly chatted. Because, even though they have been separated for a long time, but their closeness as a child revives the familiar atmosphere between the two of them.

"Aish, Radit come on in, your sir wants to talk to you both." Suddenly there was a sound of Bu Sekar near the door. Aishah and Radit immediately obeyed Bu Sekar's words to enter the house.
