Stop Working

Until nightfall, Doctor Dariel still remained faithfully beside Doctor Viola to treat him. Doctor Dariel was willing to sleep while sitting on the edge of Doctor Viola's bed to wait for Doctor Viola to heal.

Doctor Viola started waking up from his sleep. His body is starting to get better now. His head was no longer dizzy. He saw Doctor Dariel falling asleep in a sitting position beside his bed. Even while sleeping his hands were still held by Doctor Dariel. From Doctor Dariel's face seemed exhausted to cover him. A full day he was next to Doctor Viola. Aldi approached Aishah who was sitting at a table with his pakdhe and budhenya.

"Aish, I'm really sorry to you and to Pakdhe and Budhe. I don't know if Viola's gonna do anything like that and mess up your show tonight." From the look on his face, Aldi seemed to feel very guilty towards Aishah.

"You must have known the rumors that are circulating in this office?" Aldi looked at his secretary who was sitting across from his front desk.

"Yes sir, I already know." The secretary spoke by lowering his head.

"Then immediately find out who is the mastermind of this matter. I don't want this to get any bigger." Aldi stood up and put his hand in his pants pocket. Then Aldi walked towards the big glass wall in the corner of the room that showed the crowded atmosphere of the city down there.

"Okay sir, I'll soon find out the culprit of the matter." Secretary Aldi was quickly able to understand what he was told. Because Aldi's secretary has worked in the office for a long time. Even before Aldi got into that office. Previously, the secretary worked as a secretary to Aldi's father.

Then his secretary asked for permission to leave. Aldi was still standing in front of the glass while looking at the passing vehicle down there. The sound of the door being knocked. Aldi invited the person who knocked on the door to enter his room. And it turns out that person is Aishah.

"But why do you suddenly want to quit your job Aish? Aren't you currently getting a promotion to rise?" Aldi scrunched his forehead. She feels very curious about Aishah's reason for quitting her job.

"That's right sir. But it looks like I can't work here anymore." Aishah lowered her head. His decision was now made to quit his job.

"Is it all because of rumors about our closeness that are being discussed all over the office?" Aldi tries to guess Aishah's reason for quitting his job.

"not Sir. Not because of that. I wanted to stop working because of my efforts that could not be abandoned. Now I am getting overwhelmed in taking care of all my work. I just want to focus on my efforts." Aishah explained at length about his reasons for quitting work.

"Okay sir, I will obey all your orders. For the sake of the good name of this company, I will stop working after all these problems are done." Aishah lowered her head again.

"I'm sorry Aish. Because of me, you have to endure everything. You take it easy, it'll all be over soon." Aldi convinced Aishah with his convincing words.

"It's okay sir, I'm sure everything will be resolved soon. Because this is all just a misunderstanding." Aishah smiled at Aldi.

"Thank you Aishah." Aldi smiled back at Aishah.

"I'll excuse you, sir. There's still work to be done." Aishah stood up and lowered his head politely to Aldi as his limit.

"All right." Aldi also stood up and invited Aishah to come out of his room.

Then Aishah walked out of Aldi's room. When just out of Aldi's room, there were already two female employees who noticed Aishah while whispering. It seems like they are talking about Aishah. It could be seen from the look of their eyes that looked cynical.

Regardless of the two employees, Aishah breezed past them. Aishah did not care anymore about the cheap gossip that had been discussed all over the office. Because he was sure, if he was not like the gossip that was circulating. Truth will win.

Looks like I should indeed explain all these matters to Doctor Viola. I don't want Doctor Viola to think more and more about me and Aldi. I also don't want my relationship with Doctor Viola to be strained because of this misunderstanding.
