"Who is he, Pril?" ask Jamal, the father.
"Nobody" replied April tightly.
"You're always fighting back when you talk," the father snapped.
April breezed into her room. After that Jamal who saw April's bike took her away. He intended to sell the bike so that he could earn money to gamble.
April came out after changing clothes. He did not realize that his father had taken away his bicycle. A moment later Azriel came home from the play. "Sister, I see you brought your bike," he said.
"Nothing most goes to the front stall," replied April who had no negative thoughts on the drunk man.
"April, Azriel, eat first" said Ms. Dini. The middle-aged woman put rice and side dishes on the table.
"Well, today's cooking kale stir-fry huh, Mom?" ask April.
Mom smiled. "Yes, kid. I'm cooking your favorite food" he replied. April is a child who understands the difficulties of her parents. Unlike most teenagers his age who are foya-foya, hanging out the same here. April helped her family's economic hardship. Work is like a hobby. He does it in his spare time and makes money. Although tired and not infrequently he complains but April never despair. Everything has to be done with hard work.
April, her sister and mother ate together even though the side dishes were simple but they were happy to get together like that. People's happiness is different ways of measuring it. One and the other are not the same. For April and her family can eat with a complete side dish is already a luxury.
Elsewhere, Erik who was eating at the table alone so not tasteful to eat considering the fate of his son who lives in a simple house. "Why would I have a house this big if my son lived in that reot house" Erik muttered alone.
He doesn't live with his wife, Wanda. They separated after Erik learned of Wanda's behavior that threw away his second wife's child. Erik kicked him out of the house. Wanda brought Fabian along. They are separated but not divorced. Erik doesn't have time to think about his divorce from Wanda because he's been busy for years looking for his missing son. The fate of her marriage to Wanda is unclear.
Meanwhile Jamal who was carrying April's bike sold it in the market. "How much am I?" ask the buyer.
"Nine hundred, Bang," replied the bicycle buyer.
"Crazy for Lo. Nice bike time gini only sell that way," reply Jamal did not accept.
"Well, Bang. Nice bikes are stolen too, right?" whispered the buyer. He does not believe in Jamal who has a bike as good as the bike he carries.
Jamal clutched the collar of that guy's shirt. "Damn Lo. You think I'm a thief?" snapped it.
"God, Bang. I'm sorry." The man raised his hand.
'Appreciate the real. I need money now!" threaten Jamal to the buyer who is none other than the owner of the bike shop.
"Good, fine. I'll get you the money." The man ran to his desk to get the money. After that he handed over one million and two hundred thousand to Jamal.
"Can't go up anymore?" ask Jamal.
"That's why I've put more bang money." Jamal, who had received the money, chose to leave.
"Lumayan also has money. Good thing if this is the way," he said happy.
"April, come in and you'll catch a cold" his mother said.
"Mom don't come home, Mom. He's got my bike, '" he said. Mom Early saw the unease in April's eyes.
"We wait inside. Don't let you catch a cold, don't you still get into school tomorrow?" April agreed.
In the morning, Jamal returned home. As usual, he came home drunk. Mom got up and opened the door for her husband. "You drunk again, sir?" ask Mom Dini.
"Whispering," he snapped.
Mom just shook her head. She left her lucknut husband then passed to the bathroom to fetch some ablution water.
After dawn around five o'clock, April wakes up. He wanted to go to work after dawn prayers but he didn't see his bike. "Sir, where's the bike you brought?" april asked her drunken father.
"Sir, father," cried April as Jamal did not answer.
"Aarrgha... You are so annoying. I sold your bike. I bought him a drink and a lottery last night" he said.
April growled in annoyance. He was eager to hit his father with his hammer. "The drunkard's target" he said to Jamal.
Jamal who lashed out to hear April's curse woke up and replied to him. "No thanks. We have raised you to this size should you thank me? Can you replace all the money we've spent on a kid like you?" reply Jamal at length.
Twice April had heard from Jamal's mouth when he called April a child. "Is his word believable?" April was doubtful.
This morning he had to not go around selling newspapers. April is getting ready for school. But unlike the previous days today April felt uninspired. "April leaves, ma'am" she told Bu Dini.
"Pril, forgive your father who was outrageous," said Ms. Dini who felt guilty for her son.
"Yes, Mom. Its alright. April can ride with Azriel." April did not want to show her sad face in front of her mother. But Ms. Dini knew that April was holding back her grief. Before leaving, Ms. Dini took the time to hug her daughter.
"Mother always prays for your good, son. Don't be sad, I'm sure God is planning the best for you" said Ms. Dini to comfort the girl. April nodded.
After saying goodbye, April invites Azriel to go to school together. While they were waiting for the freight on the side of the highway. A car driving him to the ground stopped just in front of April standing.
"Good morning," Erik greeted with a charming friendly smile.
"At first, Om." April nodded respectfully.
"Who is he, brother?" azriel asked the brother.
Before April answered her sister Erik's question first. "This is your sister?" ask Erik. April nodded. "Let's take him on a ride. Take you to school." April and Azriel were shocked to hear this.
