Erik's Belief

"Rik, sorry old," said David feeling bad. David handed over a map containing important files.

"Dave, I want to have a chat with you" Erik told David. They also headed to the guest house.

"What's wrong?" asked David curiously.

"Do you remember the son my first wife threw away that I told you about?"

David frowned. "Want to?"

"You know my daughter has a birthmark on her right elbow exactly like the one she has," Erik pointed out in April.

David's eyes followed Erik's index finger. "April?" ask David to make sure.

"Is he your son?" ask Erik.

David shakes. "No, he's a friend of Aksa's my first child. He also works at my in-laws' bakery" David said.

Erik was shocked. His chest was tight when he heard that the girl who was allegedly his biological child was making a living. "What's? Which parent would hire a child his age?"

"He comes from a poor family. Are you sure he's your son?" ask David to make sure.

"I'll find out the truth. Dave, my prayers have been heard by Him all this time" said Erik with teary eyes. The feeling of haru and happiness was mixed within his chest.

David patted his best friend's shoulder. "I'll help, you take it easy."

"I want to take him home" Erik told David.

"Yes, you can find out where the house is. Approach your parents slowly. Maybe they need time to explain who April really is" David said. Erik nodded in understanding with David's words.

Erik approached April. "Are you guys done?" ask her gently.

"Already, Om," replied Lovely.

"April, this is Om Erik, Om's friend who works at the hospital as well. Do you want to go home with him?" ask David for pleasantries.

"No om, I brought a bike," said April politely.

"You can put the bike in the car" Erik persuaded. He prayed in his heart that April would be taken home.

The uneasy April refusing for a second time finally nodded in agreement. David and Erik were delighted. The road to finding out who April really is has been wide open. "Then what if we go home now before evening?" erik's Proposition. April nodded.

"Sir, you go home first, yes" said April to Lovely.

"Well, come home anyway. Just come here, brother," whine Lovely. Everyone laughed at Lovely's spoiled manner.

"It turns out everyone likes him," the inner Erik whose full name is Frederik Sanders.

Erik and April also say goodbye to the whole house. When they were about to board Sofia's car, they just stopped her car in front of the house. "Lho, Erik, April" points to Sofia who is confused as to why Erik invited April home together.

David who knows the confusion of his wife also embraces the wife's shoulder. "Erik will take April home" David said.

"You guys be careful" Sofia said to the two.

After they left Sofia asked her husband. "As do you not feel strange? Why would Erik suddenly drive April home?" asked the curious Sofia.

"Erik thinks April is his missing son" David said.

"That's a new guess. He'll find out the truth. Erik will approach April's parents first. He can't scare them if he doesn't want April to stay away."

"May that be true. I'm very attached to April's fate. At a young age, he had to work hard. Hopefully Erik is indeed her biological father so that April no longer has to work to support her underprivileged family," Sofia responded to her husband's remarks.

Elsewhere April feels awkward one car with a person she just met. Although Erik was a friend of David but he did not dare to talk much in front of Erik. Erik glanced at the girl at a glance. "Are you always quiet?" ask Erik in April.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what to say" April replied.

"Where's your house? Is it far away?" ask Erik. April shakes.

"Don't stay a few meters and then stop in front of a narrow alley" replied April.

Erik stopped the car where April meant. "Thank you for delivering me. Sorry for the trouble."

"No, I'm so glad I could drive you." Erik rubbed the girl's head gently. April felt something warm in her heart. It was only the first time he had gotten a gentle swab on his head. His lucknut father never did anything like this. Even saying sweet once never.

"Ah, I have to go home. Mother must be worried about me" said April nervously.

"Wait!" April stopped her steps.

"Do you want to leave your bike?" Erik reminded April. April patted her head.

"Sorry to forget." April's speech made Erik laugh. Then the man dropped off his April bike.

"This is the bike." April wants to pick up her bike but Erik holds her back.

"Let me ride his bike. Can I come by your house and meet your parents?" ask Erik. April was astonished.

"But my house is ugly" said April. Erik smiled. "Why indeed?" ask Erik.

"I'm afraid om disgusted to set foot in my house" he replied, Honestly, he felt less like a rich man like Erik would stop by his house.

"I won't be long. I just want to know where you live" replied the handsome man. Finally April agreed.

"Why does this guy keep following me? What's he...Ah there's no way she might like me as a woman," April shook her head quickly to expel her negative thoughts.

Erik noticed April's strange demeanor. "Why are you, Pril?" erik asked as he walked into the alley.

"Ah, that's okay" she replied nervously.

Soon they stopped at a house whose walls were almost knocked down. Erik frowned in wonder. "Does my son live in a house like this?" A moment later Erik shifted his gaze in April. "It's too bad for your fate, son," he said inwardly as he stared at the girl.

"Do you want to come in?" April is just a pleasantry.

Erik smiled but he did not have time to answer April's question. Dad's out. "Who is this guy, Pril?" ask the man whose appearance is random.

Erik frowned when he saw the half-cluttered man. "Is this the man who took care of April?" inner Erik.

"Eh, any guests? Why wasn't he asked to come in, Pril?" Said Early Mom who saw a man with a neat appearance coming home with April.

"No, I just drove April home" Erik told both of April's parents.

"One more time thank you very much, Om." Erik nodded before leaving. He was not willing to part with the girl.

"I will definitely take you out of that house, Pril," Erik muttered confidently.
