Considerations Sofia

Upon hearing Sofia's mouthful of apologies, David asked. "Why apologize? Are you sorry you hurt my heart?" Lecar David. Her eyes looked into Sofia's eyes. His emotions could hardly be controlled.

"I asked you again, do you love her? Do you like that guy?" ask David. Sofia did not reply but her eyes turned red and a drop of tears came out from the end of her eyes. However, he quickly used his hands. Sofia turned around to leave David.

David can conclude that Sofia does not love the man. "Are they being arranged?" Sofia is not close to anyone but her ex-boyfriend, Leo. But now they've never been in touch again. It's not wrong that they were betrothed by their parents, David thought.

David is looking for an idea so that Sofia can express her feelings. "Well, I won't bother you for a while because I will also look for someone who can treat my heart's wounds. If I don't find it then I'm sure there's nothing to replace your position."

David went to his father. "What's this about? Tumben once you face papa?"

"I want to ask for your help, Pa." Yudha felt strange about David's attitude because only this time she asked for his help. Usually David will do it himself according to his ability without wanting to get help from others.

Meanwhile Sofia is still thinking of ways to keep her from getting married to Adam. Sofia believes her father and Adam's father must have talked about their future.

Sofia went to her mother for advice. This is Sofia's chance before Julian gets home. "Ma, can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sit here, son." Raina patted the empty sofa beside her. "What do you want to say? Say it!" Speak softly.

Sofia scratched her cold fingers. He is afraid of mispronunciation which will lead to misunderstandings. Sofia took a deep breath so that she was calmer.

"Ma, it's about my match with Mas Adam." Raina's forehead wrinkled at her daughter's words.

"I want to cancel this match," Sofia said hesitantly.

"Mama already knew you'd refuse. From the beginning you were not eager to accept this match. Can you tell me why you refused?"

Sofia thought for a moment. "Wouldn't a household that is not based on affection for each other not be happy?" Sofia answered with a question.

"So you don't love Adam? Then why did Adam tell his father that you were together? Did he force you?"

Raina clasped her daughter's hands. "Tell me honestly do you have someone you like?" Sofia nodded while bowing her head.

"Who? What's Leo?" Sofia looked up again .

"Not him, Ma. We haven't had a relationship in a long time." From there Raina knew that Sofia had been secretly dating Leo.

"Why did you break up with her? Isn't Leo a very responsible person?" Sofia responded to her mother's words.

"Don't look at a book just from the wrapper, Ma. Something that looks good isn't necessarily good." Sofia did not go into detail but it was enough to give her mother an answer as to why she broke up with Leo.

"Well, then who is that guy? Is he my work buddy?" Sofia nodded. His mother was good at guessing. Raina did not want to know the name of the man now all she had to do was to advise her daughter. She understood that being forced to marry an unloved person was very difficult. Moreover, that person was his biological child. Don't let her child be unhappy with her marriage later

"Talk honestly to your papa!"

"No, Ma. Papa's too hard on the guy. Mama remember when she forbade Zidan to marry Doctor Safa who in fact was a widow with one child? I can't control papa's anger, Ma. I'm afraid of the bad."

"Then speak well with Adam. Tell the truth if you have any other choice."

"That's what I'm thinking, Ma. How about talking to him? I don't want anyone to get hurt either."

"Surely someone will be hurt, dear. But it is better if you express your wishes now before your relationship has been taken to a further level. Breaking up when dating is natural, right? As long as you don't get divorced when you're married."

Sofia enters the room after discussing with her mother. Shortly thereafter, Adam called. "Assalamualaik."

Sofia thinks it's a chance to talk to Adam. "Good, Mas."

"I'll ask your father for permission so he doesn't worry about his daughter."

"Yes, Mas. I'll see you tomorrow." After hanging up the phone Sofia took the water. To fulfill his duty as a Muslim and then pray to the giver of life.

"O Allah, I surrender to You. May You spread my business. Set my decision to give a hint so that I do not regret my actions in the future. Most importantly, I hope that Adam and his family will accept my decision. Soften the hard heart of my father."

The day Sofia was waiting for arrived. Tonight Adam invited him to spend the night weekly as well as celebrate the turn of the new year like other young couples.

Adam invites Sofia to see the carnival and other performances. Actually he really enjoyed until accidentally his eyes saw someone he knew holding a foreign woman. After that his hands rose to embrace his shoulders as if they were lovers.

"Who is he?" Sofia Gumam.
