Banqueting

Finally, it was time for them to go to the banquet. Farel knocked on Rachel's room door and said to her.

"Me and Luna will leave now. How you're going there is your own problem. Don't expect that I'll help you."

Rachel just nodded her head in response to Farel.

This was the first time Farel had attended a banquet in such a high-class world and in this banquet, the CEO of Miller Group was the only one Farel had known.

Actually Farel is rich but even his wealth can not be compared with the assets owned by Miller Group.

Farel and Luna's car arrived in front of the banquet entrance area. But no one knows them. They went into the banquet and started talking to Mr. Ferry hoping they could make another connection.

After half an hour later, Rachel's car stopped in front of the banquet hall's gate. He stepped out of his car and walked towards the entrance. As he walked into the banquet hall, everyone began to whisper looking at him.

Farel and Luna turned their eyes to see who had created a sensation just by entering the banquet hall. They looked speechless as they looked at Rachel who walked inside the banquet area. Farel thought even if Rachel did cause that sensation, Rachel would definitely be ignored for a while. So he didn't pay attention to Rachel anymore.

Farel again tried to continue his chat with Mr. Ferry, but Mr. Ferry ignored Farel and waved his hand towards where Rachel was standing.

Slowly as Rachel walked towards Ferry, she realized that she saw Farel and Luna standing there.

Luna laughed at Rachel and said, "do you think Mr. Ferry waved his hand at you? Please don't dream and bow your face to us. You're here because of us. So stay within your limits. Mr. Ferry may not even know what your name is."

Ferry who was listening to that looked widened his eyes and asked Luna.

"Excuse me Miss, but how can you speak with such an attitude to him?"

Ferry's voice clearly showed disappointment.

But Farel then said, "we're really sorry Mr. Ferry. But this was his first time attending a banquet like this. So please forgive her and ignore the attitude Luna showed her."

Ferry this time ignored Farel's comments and stuck his hand out toward Rachel.

"It's an honor to see you again Miss Rachel. It's been months since we could get back to talking." Sayap Ferry's.

Rachel then shook Ferry's hand and replied, "it's great to meet you too Mr. Ferry. I hope you're okay."

"Of course, but can I ask what is the relationship between you and this couple?" Ferry's reply sounds so formal.

When Farel was about to say something Liam came and said something before Farel.

"Mr Ferry, I didn't expect to see you here. Didn't you refuse to attend this event before?"

Farel and Luna looked surprised to see Mr. Ferry being so friendly. He usually acts so cold to everyone.

Rachel let out a small laugh and said, "it seems that someone is ignoring her lover for her best friend, isn't that Liam?"

Ferry's face flushed and said, "hey two of you, stop flirting with me!"

Seeing the three of them chatting so intimately, made Farel and Luna decide to go somewhere else.

Throughout the banquet almost everyone walked over to Rachel and spoke to her.

Luna looked envious as she looked at all that. He thought of a plan and then called out to a servant.

"Go to the woman in the blue fancy dress and tell her that Mr. Farel is calling her to the corner." Luna.

After that, Luna gave some money to the servant and the servant nodded his head.

While Luna is planning something, Rachel is talking about her pregnancy and her divorce to Ferry and Liam. The two of them, both Ferry and Liam know about Rachel's marriage to Farel. But only Ferry has never seen how Farel faces. Recalling Rachel's wedding at that time, she didn't have time to attend.

Rachel also from the beginning of her marriage, she never shared or uploaded photos of her marriage with Farel. So it makes Ferry did not know Farel since he first met him earlier.

After listening about the relationship between Rachel and Farel for the past 4 years, both Liam and Ferry, they both seemed so angry. Especially when they found out about the sacrifice Rachel made for Farel, while Farel himself was completely ignorant about all of it.

As the three of them were chatting happily, Luna seemed to grin at the thought of planning something.

The three men, both Ferry, Liam and Rachel were completely unaware of what situation would happen to them later. They were really chatting happily.

A waiter suddenly approached them and said, "excuse me, Mr. Farel asked Miss Rachel to go there."

The waiter pointed towards a corner of the room from the banquet. Rachel nodded her head and told Liam and Ferry to wait for her. But Liam and Ferry were so curious about it that they both followed Rachel's steps to go to a corner of the room.

Luna sent a message to Farel saying that he was waiting for Farel in the corner of the banquet hall which was close to the window of the banquet hall. Farel thought that Luna was longing for him because she hadn't noticed Luna since.

So Farel went straight to where Luna asked for it.

When Liam and Ferry felt that something was wrong, Ferry quickly opened his phone and recorded a video. They both felt that something completely wrong was going to happen and they both thought of confirming everything. As they saw that Luna was standing there, they were actually preparing to take action if something wrong would happen to Rachel.
