Farel's Attitude

Farel finally thought of an answer and immediately said it.

"Mr Liam, since we were the first to talk about this cooperation and we were also the first to submit the proposal to you, so I guess you should definitely choose us." Farel said confidently.

Neither Rachel nor Liam, both of them seemed to be in disbelief at what they heard.

Liam thought to himself, 'really an unsatisfactory answer.'

'Is he joking? Is that true? Was that the answer he thought?' thought Rachel.

Liam gulped and glanced at Rachel, then replied to Farel.

"Alright Mr. Farel, we'll see what proposal you make and my secretary will contact you to sign the contract later." Liam.

Farel felt relieved after listening to that.

"Alright Mr. Liam, thank you for your cooperation." Reply Farel.

Farel and Luna stood up to leave the meeting room. As they walked towards the door of the room, he heard Liam talking to Rachel.

"Hel, will you tell me what happened and why did you interrupt me all of a sudden and ask me that?" Liam.

Farel became so curious after listening to Liam call Rachel with a call that sounded so close. Farel walked out again, but he had not gone too far because he was eager to hear what Rachel had answered.

"Liam, actually I said that to get a reason to be able to cooperate with them and I need to know what the reason is that you can agree with that cooperation. But you should know if I don't want to until they try to fool us." Rachel.

Farel now felt so angry that he thought of Rachel's words calling them impostors.

'We fooled you? Heh! Just tell me that you don't want my company to get better and that's what makes you give a reason to stop Liam and how can you call us trying to be cheats? The contract was really made by Luna personally.' Farel said in his heart.

While inside the CEO's room, Liam looked confusedly staring at Rachel.

"Fraud. What do you mean? But I don't see anything that...."

Rachel interrupted Liam's remark and said, "I knew that you would say no such thing, right? But if you look at the contract clearly, you will be able to see that there is a passage where if you read it in a different way and interpret the contents in a different way, then you will know that they will benefit greatly from us even if this cooperation ends in failure." Rachel then sighed after saying all those things to Liam.

Liam finally understood and said, "well Rachel, I'll ask my secretary to read the contract more thoroughly and make another contract with the same model but with different contents."

"Hmmm...." Rachel.

The two of them left the meeting room with Liam through the other door.

Farel, who was still standing by the door, looked surprised after listening to Rachel's words. He then opened the contract in his hand and read all the contents. It was only now that he discovered that what Rachel said was true. He seemed surprised to think about it and he went straight to his car in the parking area and he immediately invited Luna to sit in his car.

Seeing Farel's face like that Luna asked him.

"Why did you ask me not to sit in the car? Did something happen?"

"Luna, is this contract you who prepared it yourself? I mean, did you make this contract yourself?" Ask Farel.

Hearing this, Luna's heart beat very fast and she tried to calm herself and reply to Farel's words.

"Oh, honey, why?" Reply Luna.

Farel now again asked carefully another question to Luna again.

Luna who understood the meaning of Farel's question then thought that there was no way for her to deny all that. So he admitted it too.

"Yes, I did deliberately make it that way because in such a way we could have a way out even if this cooperation failed." Luna.

Listening to that, Farel felt that Luna had changed. But he kept his prejudice in his heart and then drove his car away from the Miller Group company.

Meanwhile, Rachel had just finished her chat with Liam and after that she returned to her home. He changed his clothes and had lunch, then he busied himself with work.

It was 11:30 p.m., and Rachel was still waiting for Farel to come home. But Farel did not show up at home until 07:30 the next day. Seeing Farel coming home in the morning, Rachel asked him.

"Why didn't you come home yesterday, baby?" Ask Rachel gently.

Farel suddenly slapped Rachel and snapped at her furiously.

"Who are you calling, baby? To me you're nothing more than an animal on the street, do you understand? And what was it yesterday, huh? After openly flirting with Liam yesterday, now you still have the courage to show me your face." Jerky Farel.

Rachel tried to defend herself.

"That's not what you think Farel is. I can't tell you who he is to me. But still he is not someone like that. Even if you don't give me respect, you shouldn't accuse someone you don't even know." Rachel.

"Oh now you're trying to defend your love, huh? So shocking that I finally found out you had a relationship with that guy. No need to feel sorry for me. But fine, I will grant your wish. Didn't you marry me to get that?" Farel said so humbly to Rachel.

Rachel seemed to tremble with her anger.

"You don't dare insult him like that." Farel.

"God! Insulting? No, it's not an insult. You're now gonna see how real that humiliation is." Farel then forcefully kissed Rachel so harshly.

Rachel herself did not even refuse this time. He just stood there like a puppet that could not live.

After doing all that, Farel simply changed his clothes and then left. Rachel was lying on the bed without feeling.

All such treatment should be felt Rachel for 8 to 9 months and after that Farel even started to stay away from her house for a week. She rarely returned home and whenever she returned home, she never considered Rachel's whereabouts.

The years that passed remained that way.

And now it's 4 years from the age of their marriage and this is the first time Farel has come home on their wedding anniversary. For the past 3 years, Farel has always stayed away from home with Luna, citing business travel.
