ABOUT DAD AND MOM

It is one of the largest hospitals in the Netherlands. Now, Adrian and Hermelinda are still lying weakly in the same nursery. For two days now the two have not exchanged news with their only child who is in Indonesia.

Nina, a mother of Adrian who always took care of her son and daughter-in-law. Since Adrian and Hermelinda got married, Nina has been the happiest. Nina wanted Hermelinda to be her daughter-in-law.

For Nina, Hermelinda is a hard-working, gentle-hearted woman. However, because of the illness he suffered with Adrian made him learn to be hard-hearted against the child alone puppet.

So this is the beginning ....

The first meeting of Adrian and Hermelinda occurred when both of them entered into a famous university in the Netherlands. Adrian has been living in Shopping since his father died a few months ago. Because previously Adrian with his parents lived in Solo, Indonesia.

When Adrian was sitting on a chair on the edge of the campus lake, suddenly someone approached him.

"Hallo, can I sit here?" the woman's voice made Adrian look up.

"Whose name are you? I'm Hermelinda Sutyoso," asked Hermelinda, extending her hand.

Adrian returned the hand of Hermelinda. "I'm Adrian Lesmana, it's nice to meet you" he replied with a smile.

"I am also ... " Herrylinda smiled. "Sorry Adrian, the seats in this park are full and all I see is the seat next to you that is still empty" said Hermelinda.

"No problem, I'm happy to share a chair with you" Adrian said.

"Thank you" said Hermelinda.

"Either. Oh yeah, where are you from? it seems, if it sounds from your name, you are from Indonesia" said Ardian.

"Exactly ... Your guess is correct! I am from Indonesia, more precisely from Jakarta. You alone?" hermelinda then asked Adrian.

"Oh, Jakarta. If I were from Solo. However, since my father died a few months ago now I am living here with my mother" Adrian replied, taking his eyes off Hermelinda.

"Sorry, I don't know. I'm so sorry for your father's death" said Hermelinda, who felt bad.

"Well, you're alone in Jakarta with your parents?" adrian asked back while looking at him.

"Yes .. but my parents are separated and have lived with their spouses, and I have my own place to live given from my grandmother" explained Hermelinda and Adrian also nodded in understanding.

"Oh, then why did you go to college here?"

"I am on a scholarship from the Indonesian government. This is the country I dreamed of for a long time. In Indonesia, it is an invincible paradise. However, for some reason ... here I found a feeling of its own," said Hermelinda immediately felt happy and proud when he could continue his education in the Netherlands.

Smart, beautiful and mature woman. If I could ask her to meet mom, I'd be really happy.

"Oh yeah? same dong us then. But, I did not join the scholarship path," said Adrian chuckling. "What are you Hermelinda's majors?" continued.

"I majored in designer here, because since I was a child I would love to be able to design my own wedding dress someday. That you?"

Two years after both graduated from college, Adrian proposed to Hermelinda. Hermelinda's family also welcomed the arrival of Adrian's family and they received Adrian's proposal.

A month later, Hermelinda and Adrian were married. Their wedding was very lively at the residence of Hermelinda in Jakarta.

A month into their marriage, Nina chooses to return to Solo, her city of memories with her father Adrian. Three years Adrian and Hermelinda married, both of whom were given a daughter. But unfortunately, after the birth of his daughter, Hermelinda's disease was known after he conducted an examination of the laboratory results. Unexpectedly, he had stage one brain cancer.

Adrian also felt unbearable, because he loved Hermelinda. Finally Mega was treated by Nina since Hermelinda finished the puerperium.

Later, Adrian and Hermelinda chose to live in Jakarta and work hard so that one day Mega will not lack the property to survive. A few months later, Adrian was found unconscious in his study. He was also taken to the hospital.

Hermelinda was so anxious, she also did not forget to contact Nina, her father-in-law. After getting news from Hermelinda, Nina also invited Mega to go to Jakarta because Adrian had to be hospitalized.

After Nina arrived, the doctor entered the room with Adrian's lab test results. The thing feared by Nina also happened, Adrian in the verdict of suffering from second-stage brain cancer. Her late husband died of the same illness that Adrian now suffers.

Nina was so limp for a moment, while holding Mega who was still a baby. After several days of treatment, Adrian was allowed to go home and check up once a month, as well as with Hermelinda.

Seventeen years later, Nina decides to return to the Netherlands and tells Mega to stay with Adrian and Hermelinda. However, because of the busyness of Adrian and Hermelinda, making Mega become lonely.

Both are deliberately not to get too close to Mega. Even though when Mega was small, Adrian and Hermelinda always took the time to go home to Solo to be able to play with Mega.

Now that everything had changed, the two chose to keep their distance from their most precious treasure. Then the time came when Mega was seventeen years old, Adrian and Hermelinda gave all the property they had to Mega.

After Adrian returned to the Netherlands again, a few months later his body weakened as well as Hermelinda. The cancer they are treating has reached stage four.

"Excuse me Mrs. .. I am Fabio, secretary to Mr. Adrian. Here are some files that Madam has to sign" Fabio said, handing over the files to Nina.

Nina took the file and examined it and signed it.

"Madam, does Miss Mega need to be informed about the condition of Mr Adrian and Ms Hermelinda now?" asked Fabio while retrieving the file submitted by Nina.

"Non't now! not-time. Better, get your man to teach anyone who dares to make my granddaughter suffer, okay?" firmly Nina and Fabio also nodded obediently.

"Well Madam, then I'm sorry," said Fabio then left Nina who had been standing in front of the hospital's ICU room.

May you realize soon, your child has grown up. And he needs you guys to stay by his side. I haven't been able to bring Mega here yet, because the school is one year away. I hope Mega doesn't really hate you guys. I'm sure Mega's a good boy. I miss Mega so much, my granddaughter.
