ELIZABETH SWAN'S

ELIZABETH SWAN'S
Chapter 1 - The Poor Little Girl

"Ah.. Is this how it feels in heaven?" muttered Eleanor who was still not fully aware of her current situation.

The clean and spacious room, as well as the scent of the assorted flowers that pierced his sense of smell, "Yes, not bad either.. Compared to the restroom and shanty where I died before" he said comparing his room now with the place he lived before.

"Miss Eliza, are you aware? I'll call the doctor." said a waiter who passed away just like that after mistakenly calling his name.

A middle-aged man and a doctor then walked into his room. After the doctor finished examining him, the middle-aged man who looked so worried immediately hugged him while sobbing.

"My dear daughter, how can you do such extreme things? I certainly wouldn't be able to move on if I had to lose you too, my dear." said the man, crying like a baby.

Eleanor was still digesting what was really going on, why she was called Eliza instead of Eleanor. And it could be that Count Swan treated her like this. The girl continued to be silent not budging to make Count Swan release his embrace.

"Is Eliza still not feeling well? I'm sorry I've talked too much. Rest so you get better soon, I'll have someone bring you some food." Count Swan said, leaving the bewildered Eleanor alone in the room.

Eleanor got out of her bed, stepped into a large mirror next to her dresser. After making sure with his own eyes turned out to be right if he was no longer Eleanor. These people don't just call him by a different name.

Eleanor Avellar was the only child of a Baron who owned many jewelry stores scattered in every major city of the Alexandrian Empire. Having a business that is managed for generations makes Baron Avellar have wealth equivalent to a duke.

When he was not even 10 years old, his father died of pneumonia. As the closest friend of the late Baron Avellar, Edgar Fosberg was always beside Baroness Avellar who was now a widow. Soon, Baroness Avellar was captivated by the kindness and warmth of the handsome Edgar Fosberg. The two married and decided to get married shortly afterwards.

But on a night that should be happy, Baroness Avellar actually experienced something unexpected before. While waiting for Edgar in the room, suddenly a drunk maid entered the room and harassed the Baroness.

"Let go!!" with all his might the Baroness tried to escape from the drunken servant's arms, but the servant who was being blinded by lust was stronger than her.

"Please..!! Anybody, help me..!!" she screamed as loud as she could, and then a few servants came in, followed by Edgar and Eleanor behind her, relieved to see her husband coming to her aid.

Instead of beating up the waiter who had abused his wife on their first night, Edgar accused the Baroness of cheating on him.

"What the fuck?!" he said with full of anger that was implied through his eyes.

"God..!! Fire him, he has-"

Uncompleted Baroness spoke, Edgar interrupted her, "It turns out this is how you've been doing all this time? How disgusting!"

The baroness was shocked to hear Edgar's words accusing her instead of defending her, "Ed.. It's not what you think it is. It was he who suddenly entered by himself." the Baroness' body trembled violently.

"Shut your mouth basic ******!" Edgar instead looked at Eleanor with a look of disdain, "Are you really my best friend's real daughter, Baron Avellar?" he said he doubted Eleanor's origins, as if the little girl was the child of the mother's illicit relationship with a man other than the late Baron Avellar.

Feeling despicable and desperate, the next day Baroness Avellar was found hanged herself in her room. Eleanor was orphaned in an instant.

As rumors about the Baroness affair have spread, it stokes public doubts about the truth of Eleanor's origin. Until finally he was expelled from the Avellar residence easily by Edgar. The man sends Eleanor to the Baroness' distant cousin, Viscount Magnus. Thomas Magnus was the Chief Senior Knight Commander who was highly trusted by the Emperor Charleston de Alexandria.

"Honey.. Anyway Eleanor is my niece, which means your niece too. He has no one else but us." refer Viscount Magnus to his wife who objected to having Eleanor at home.

"No, Thomas! I don't want any orphans living in this house. Our house is not an orphanage!" suffocating the Viscountess blatantly showed her dislike for Eleanor who was also in the room.

"If we expel him at this time will also appear rumors if we have the heart to ignore orphans who have no place to shelter. I could have been nonchalant, but what about your social life?" it was Thomas' light that finally made the wife agree with him.

"Huh troublesome!" said the Viscountess who then passed away.

Eleanor could feel a little relieved, at least this was her brother's house. Not someone else like Edgar. Every day he was asked to clean his uncle's office. Eleanor didn't mind if it was just that. It is more unpleasant if only hitchhiking for free. But today was different to usual, previously Viscount Magnus had only been staring at him from his study seat. Now the middle-aged man was standing right behind Eleanor.

"Eleanor.." His uncle's voice sounded strangely unusual.

"Y-yes, uncle?" eleanor answered nervously, The uncle's position was too close. Even his breath was felt at the tip of Eleanor's ear.

The deg!

Eleanor froze as her uncle's hand was now coiled around her small waist. He realized that it should not be done by the uncle to his young father.

"Pa-punches.. Please don't be like this." said Eleanor in a soft voice, her body trembling with fear.

"Sttts.. Don't noise.. Later my wife will know.." the uncle's words really made her shudder in horror.

Bruaks!

"Thomaass!!!!" strangled Viscountess Magnus with a wrathful air of angkara clearly visible in her eyes and face.

"Sa-honey.. It's not what you've seen." said Thomas, trying to calm the wife.

"I don't care about your behavior out there. But not in this house, Thomas! Are you crazy?!" shouted the hostess who was now completely wrathful.

Indeed, Viscountess already knows the bad habits of the husband who has a fetish against young girls. But she did not care as long as she was still treated like a queen without lacking one thing.

"Di-he seduced me first! Trust me, baby..."

Eleanor, who was young and innocent, could only cry and hope that her aunt would defend her. But of course this harsh and cruel world does not side with the weak. Viscountess scapegoats Eleanor to keep her husband's good name. Although he knew the truth that happened in Thomas Magnus's office.

"Fruit does not fall far from the tree. I now understand why Edgar can kick you out of there, you're just as upset as your mother!" the Viscountess said to Eleanor.

The young girl could only look down and keep crying, "I swear, I really didn't do anything, Auntie." she explained as she squeezed her dress in fear.

Viscountess grew furious, "Don't call me aunt with your mouth, I'm not your aunt! Get out of here now, I don't want Magnus' honorable residence infested with flies like you. Even a fly is still so much better than your dirty and despicable self!" it was not enough just to accuse him, the Viscountess also insulted the girl.

"B-but I don't know where else to go?" he said in a loud voice.

"That's your business! The waiter..!! Quickly drag him out of here..!!" two servants entered and immediately dragged the poor girl out of the Magnus residence.

At such a young age Eleanor had endured much suffering and humiliation. Now that she was no longer Lady Eleanor the daughter of the Baron, she was just a little girl who was not considered her existence by anyone. Since then little Eleanor has had to work odd jobs to support herself. I don't know when he became sick. The symptoms are the same as the disease suffered by Baron Avellar, pneumonia.

"Look at the girl... She used to be an honorable noble, but now she's even lower than us" said one of the foreign women.

"That's why as women we must have self-esteem, it's good that Viscountess accepts her to live with her instead shamelessly hoping to be her own uncle's concubine" said one of her colleagues.

"A disgusting cheap girl, indeed a disease*****it is hereditary!"

"Hahaha!!!" the two of them laughed out loud as if satisfied to have insulted Eleanor.

The increasing age of the disease also worsened. Let alone to go to the doctor and buy medicine, just meet her daily needs Eleanor difficulties. Although it has been 10 years, people still consider her as a lowly woman who is despicable and dirty. He was not given a decent wage like most people. Eleanor was given only a quarter of her wages.

That night the cloudless clear sky made the moon shine with its light. The moonlight then barged in through the cracks of the air vents that were above his head. Poor Eleanor was lying on her bed, lamenting her miserable life. At his last moment he did not cry at all, only a deep hatred for Edgar who faithfully accompanied.

Eleanor looked up at the ceiling of her worn-out room and was full of netting, "Uhukk.. Uhukkc.. What sins have I committed in the past that I must die miserably like this? Uhukk.." The blood that came out along with his forehead was more and more, "If gods really existed... Please give me a chance to live once more so that I can repay what Edgar has done to my family.."
