Dream of a Happy Family

Dream of a Happy Family
Dragon Boat Festival Begins!

While Tyr muttered to himself, there was a sarcastic smile on his face and a cold look in his eyes. On the other hand, Jade was still kneeling on the ground. His face was pale from fear and his body was trembling.

Meanwhile, Marcus was so nervous that his heart was almost about to be dislodged.

"All right, I agree to help you. I will be there during the Dragon Boat Fighting Competition!"

After that, Tyr left without turning around. After her figure disappeared, Jade was finally able to sigh in relief. Body's sweating.

"Jade, what does Mr. Summers have to do with the Summers family in the north? Why did he have such a huge reaction when you mentioned the Five Brave Generals of the Summers family in the north?" ask Marcus

Jade turned around, looking at Marcus gloomily. "Sister, I'll repeat what I said earlier. It's better if you don't know a lot of things, unless you're not afraid to die!"

Shaking, Marcus canceled the topic of conversation, he did not dare to ask any further.

By the time Tyr got out of the Collins family villa, it was already dusk. He called a taxi to take her back to the Coles family home.

When he arrived, dinner was ready. Members of the Coles family were sitting at a large round table in the courtyard, but they had yet to start eating. Tyr walked in with a guilty and awkward expression on his face.

When Stephen saw that Tyr had returned, he was the first to stand. His facial expression was unpleasant. "Where have you been? You useless coward! Why did you just come home this late? Who do you think you are how dare you make the whole family wait for you?"

Before Tyr could answer, Paul Cole asked the question first, "Stephen, what do you think happened this afternoon?"

Stephen grunting. "Today, Matthew wants to have a friendly match with him at the Hidden Vanguard Boxing Gym. But this useless coward was so afraid he wouldn't even get into the ring."

Paul frowned as he looked at Tyr. "True men need not fear defeat. Even if that happens, at least you can still get back up. However, if even you don't even dare to climb into the ring to fight.it will only make you a coward."

He sighed before continuing, "Despite being an honorable man due to my past achievements, but in the end I got a cowardly man as my son-in-law. Now, my granddaughter-in-law from my extended family is also a useless coward. Ahh, I don't know how I can deal with the world."

"Shut up, you old man. Stop bringing up that shit. Hmphh!" exclaimed Christine upset.

Slamming his chopsticks against the table, Paul first glared at Tyr, then at Jacob sitting next to him. "I won't eat anymore" he said as he stood up and walked into the house.

Things instantly turn awkward, especially for Jacob, whose face is now red.

"He must die of hunger" murmured Christine. He turned towards Tyr and waved at him. "Tyr, sit down quickly. Your grandfather always behaved badly like this. Don't mind him."

Tyr smiled. He won't hold a grudge against Paul. Compared to the Collins family, Tyr felt that Stephen and Paul were not that bad. Although their manner of speaking was more rude, at least they had good intentions.

After all, they were right when they said that men should not be cowards. Otherwise, how would he protect the woman he loved? Fortunately, Tyr was not a coward.

Over the next two days, Tyr, Winifred, and their families visited the main historic site in the city of Riverville. Nothing extraordinary happened. However, along their journey, Winifred, Helen, and Jacob all received several calls from other members of the Zea family.

Even so, Helen ended up hanging up all her calls. In the end, they decided to shut down

their cellphones. This time, the Zea family suffered a huge loss. They deserve to be taught a lesson in their own mistakes. Does Tyr and his family want to help the Zea family? They will decide once they return home.

The Dragon Boat Festival has finally begun!

Early in the morning, the Zea family finished breakfast and were on their way to Brunswick Road to watch the Dragon Boat Paddle Competition. Just before they left the house, Tyr received a call from Jade. It seemed like he wanted to remind him of the Dragon Boat Competition Adu that was going to take place today.

When Tyr picked up his phone, he sounded a little displeased. All he said was: "I won't retract my words," before hanging up.

On the other end of the phone conversation, Jade felt panicked after hearing what Tyr said. He regretted calling because he had no reason to remind Tyr of the competition. Most importantly, he should not doubt it.

Tyr's main purpose in coming to Riverville was to spend time with his family during the Dragon Boat Festival. Helping the Riverville City Alliance in the Dragon Boat Fighting Competition was just something he did out of his own goodwill.

Since Jade was a smart person, he should have thought of all these things.

Even by nine in the morning, the Brunswick area was already overcrowded, especially in the area near the port. People stand just a few inches outside the safety line

In the Celestial Kingdom, every city located along the river would hold a rowing competition every year during the Dragon Boat Festival. The city of Riverville has always done it in the most extravagant way.

While everyone in the Cole family was excited, none of them were more excited than Blair. Ever since she had just celebrated her fifth birthday, she was at an age that could develop self-awareness. Therefore, he was curious about everything around him.

While Tyr carried Blair on his shoulders, Blair did not stop asking questions along the way. For example, he would ask "why" at least a hundred thousand times about everything, and Tyr would always patiently give his explanation.

Blair is her real daughter. Tyr was very happy to tell him about everything beautiful and colorful in this world. Of course, this is the responsibility that every father has to do for his children.

The Dragon Boat Rowing Competition starts at exactly ten o'clock. Everyone watched with excitement. Meanwhile, the Dragon Boat Fighting Competition will start at exactly eleven.

As the time got closer to the start of the fighting competition, Tyr would give a reason to be able to go from there to be able to compete.

Just then, Stephen Cole began to murmur impatiently, "Every year, we will definitely come to see the Dragon Boat Festival event. Watch a paddling competition, eat rice dumplings, or buy all sorts of aromatherapy bags. Everything means nothing. Why don't we get on the flower boat and watch the fight game?"

Christine looked at Stephen with a frown on her face. "Everything you know has to do with fighting. What was the fun of watching that fighting competition? Winifred and his family came all the way here to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival with us. Why can't you spend time with them?"

Stephen did not dare to talk back to his grandmother. There is no choice but to be quiet.

However, Paul and Christine have always been sworn enemies. They always have differences in their personal way of thinking and ideology.

So Paul begins to challenge Christine.

"What's wrong with fighting? Men should be excited about fighting. We, the Cole family, can get this far because of the martial arts techniques I have learned in the academy since I was young. Look at Helen's family. All the men in his family are cowards. What achievements do they have now?" she said.

Christine looked upset. "Winifred has managed to set up his own company now."

"Hmphs. Isn't that still an accomplishment on the part of women? paul shouted loudly. "A cowardly man can finally count on a woman in the family. How can it be like that?"
