Dream of a Happy Family

Dream of a Happy Family
Despair Part Two

The pickup truck drove late into the night. By the time they arrived in the town of Swampville, it was almost ten o'clock at night!

There is a dumpster next to the back door of the hotel behind a crowded street. A crippled man who was dirty and looked very battered was scavenging for food in the trash. She's famished. So hungry that his stomach couldn't budge.

Just now he saw a hotel staff throw some leftovers in the trash. The man then spent about ten minutes before he could reach the trash can. It took ten minutes to cover a distance of a hundred meters, moving slower than a turtle. His legs were broken until he crawled with his hands.

The man dropped the trash can and then scraped away the leftovers to put in his mouth. He was so hungry that the rest of the food in the trash he found seemed like a party dish to him.

"Isn't this the Swampville Boxing King, Tyler Lancaster?"

"You're right, it's Tyler Lancaster!"

A group of tattooed men came up to Tyler and kicked the trash can in front of him.

"Haha, who knew that the Boxing King of Swampville would eventually eat trash on the streets?"

"Sigh, this is too tragic."

One of the men crouched down and grabbed Tyler's hair, but his face clearly looked like he was enjoying the misfortune Tyler had experienced.

"Boxing King, is that trash delicious?"

"Continue your meal.”

One of the men trampled on the leftovers before picking them up and stuffing them into Tyler's mouth.

"Are you full? If not, eat again. If not, how can you have the strength to fight a boxing ring?" As the man spoke, he slapped Tyler's leg hard, making Tyler grimace in pain.

"You can see this? This is our famous Kong's Legs in Swampville City. Legs that can pass through walls. Isn't that cool?"

"That's amazing!"

The people around them started laughing out loud, giving him a thumbs up.

"But no matter how strong these Kong Feet are, they become useless." As he spoke, the man punched Tyler in the leg, Tyler felt so much pain that he spat out all the food he had just eaten,

"Damn! Didn't you used to be very powerful, Boxing King Swampville? I spent two hundred thousand on that boxing match a month ago, betting that you would win but you lost that match! B*ngsat!"

Several punches were fired back and at this time Tyler's forehead was being flooded with sweat from the pain, his body almost fainted. A month ago, no one would have dared to humiliate Tyler in this way.

At the time, Tyler was the famous Boxing King of Swampville City, living a life of glory. However, a month ago in that arena as well, he had lost everything. His money, authority, respect, and even his woman had left him. In addition, his leg had also been broken by someone so that made his leg deformed.

His most trusted manager has been ensnared a debt of ten million dollars from gambling. To pay off his debts, his manager promises his debtor that Tyler will win the game. Over the course of the game, the manager has bet a billion dollars on Tyler's opponent where he has finally made a fortune after Tyler deliberately beat himself in that fight.

However, since Tyler had taken the medicine that made him lethargic before the match, his leg had been broken by his opponent as he lay helplessly in the ring.

After the game, Tyler lost everything. He even experienced violence from gamblers who bet on him to win in this game. When he became an unsightly beggar, no one had ever reached out to help him. Even his own manager treated him like a stray dog.

Tyr walked up to Tyler and crouched down to check on Tyler's broken leg as he said, "That boxing match a month ago was a collaboration between your manager and someone else. He has no debt. He just thought you were too slow at making money so he used this method to finish you off completely so they could make a billion dollars!"

Tyler looked at Tyr in disbelief, his entire body trembling. "You who?"

"Someone who can give you another chance in life." As he spoke, Tyr slapped hard on Tyler's broken leg.

Cracks! Ah!!!

The sound of a dislocated joint, mixed with Tyler's scream, rang out very loudly on this dark night.

"Your bones can still be put back together. We just have to keep breaking it and the broken bones will regenerate! Of course, this treatment needs to be paired with a special bone calcification medicine that I will prepare for you and all of this will take about a month."

Tyler is shocked and confused as he looks at Tyr, not believing that all of this is real. How can this broken leg be put back together? What kind of joke is this?

Although it sounds outrageous, for some reason, Tyler has faith in this man. Within half an hour, Tyler regained consciousness before falling unconscious again.

Finally, Tyler noticed that his previously flexed leg was now straight back. Tyr had rearranged his bones and fixed them. Tyr threw the bag of medicine he had prepared beforehand into Tyler's arms before saying, "One month later, you can move freely like you used to. After that, you can take revenge on your manager. After your revenge is over, come to a dog farm on the outskirts of Khanh City!"

Because of this, Tyr returned to the pickup truck with Max following behind him.

The pick-up truck was speeding by and Tyler stared at him for quite a long time, his body back unconscious. All this looks like a dream.

In the blink of an eye, it was now one in the morning! In a small, dark room inside the Swampville City prison, through the dim glow of incandescent light, Tyr stared indifferently at the bald, tough-looking man sitting in front of him.

"Martin Jakeman, you'll get the firing penalty in the morning. Are you scared? Or rather, are you sorry?".

Martin looked at Tyr suspiciously. He had no idea who this young man was and how he could have the ability to enter a prison as big and be able to visit death row inmates like himself late at night like this. However, as he was about to die tomorrow, Martin could not refuse his invitation to chat before the time came.

"Of course, I'm scared. Who wouldn't? But I don't regret it."

"Hmm?" Tyr nodded slightly.

Martin grinned and said, "I am an uneducated immigrant worker who does work honestly and with high tolerance.Even a golem-like person has emotions, Do you agree? We a group of honest immigrant workers had been toiling on site for an entire year but finally, not only was the contractor refusing to pay us, he had even gathered many people and crippled my brothers. He has also humiliated and killed my wife, so tell me, who can tolerate such a thing?"

As he spoke, Martin's eyes turned red and his tears glazed over. "I'm not too old, almost in my thirties. In the past, they all called me Frank Jakeman. But now, I've heard that they called me Martin Jakeman after I managed to get out the contractor and eight of his employees! I've liked this name enough until now, Martin Jakeman!”

"Is that so? As long as it makes you happy, you can use that name again."

Tyr stood up and placed a note in front of him.

"Remember this address. Dog kennel farm on the outskirts of Khanh City. After you leave this prison, come and find me there."

"Leaving?" Martin looked at Tyr, shocked. The corner of his mouth twitched. "Are you kidding me?"

"Do you think I'm bored because I would come here in the middle of the night just to joke with you?" Tyr shrugged his shoulders. "Remember, when the sun rises tomorrow, your life is no longer yours. But mine!"
