Marcus felt as if he was about to be kicked out of heaven and into hell.
Previously, Jade had confidently promised that she would be able to find a fighter to protect the Collins family from the dangerous situation they faced. Therefore, Marcus never lost hope, as Jade never let him down with her efforts.
But this time, he felt completely hopeless when he saw the figure of the young man Jade had brought to him. Based on Tyr's appearance and posture, he didn't look like a great fighter at all.
Marcus could not be blamed for his disappointment. Others will react the same way. However, Marcus has gone through a lot of hardships. He believed in a saying that one should not judge a book by its cover.
Although he did not believe in Tyr too much, he decided not to show it.
"Whoever appears is a guest to me. Come and sit down, little sister Summer," said Marcus.
Jade and William almost fainted from fear when they heard how Marcus was talking to Tyr. As the Master of the Glorious Rayne Palace, Tyr could have easily killed the Collins family tenfold just by flicking his finger.
How could Marcus Collins call him a younger brother?
Although Marcus already respects their age difference, Marcus and Jade are the same generation. Even Jade had referred to Tyr as Mr. Summers, the fact that Marcus greeted Tyr as his younger brother clearly showed that he was too demeaning to Tyr.
William hastily began to explain, "Dad, Mr. Summers is a powerful man. It was at the Hidden Vanguard Boxing Gym, one punch..."
"Shut up" Marcus snapped, cutting William off before he could finish his sentence. "You don't have the right to speak here. Go upstairs and don't come down no matter what happens here."
Seeming terrified at his father, William bids farewell to Tyr and quickly heads upstairs without saying anything more. Tyr could clearly feel the awkward atmosphere. Marcus vents his anger at William.
Meanwhile, Jade's heart was pounding. "Please sit down, Mr. Summers."
Regardless of what he said, Tyr walked to the sofa and sat down. He nonchalantly started taking out his phone and playing a tetris game as if there was no one else around. Jade hurriedly poured him a cup of tea, but Tyr ignored his movements completely, making Jade feel like all the blood in her body had frozen.
The frightened Jade tried to warn Marcus with her eyes, throwing away her gaze which showed that she should not be condescending to Tyr. Along with that, someone walked through the door.
Appeared a middle-aged man who looked to be in his fifties. The man had a strong and burly physique, while a faint ruling aura emanated from his body.
When Marcus saw who it was, his face immediately beamed. He approached the man while giving a warm greeting. "Master Iron, you're finally here. I've been waiting for you."
That man was Iron, a famous fist expert in Riverville.
The way Marcus greeted Iron excitedly was in stark contrast to the way he greeted Tyr. Therefore, Jade frowned deeply. Meanwhile, Tyr continued to play a tetris game on his phone, as if everything that was happening around him had nothing to do with him.
It was clear from Iron's facial expression that he thought highly of himself. He did not react to Marcus's passionate greeting.
Marcus quickly hands Iron a check worth ten million dollars. "I'm counting on you, Mr. Iron, for what's to come."
Finally, Iron smiled slightly as he nodded. "Don't worry. With me, no one can hurt you today."
After hearing what Iron said, Marcus felt much calmer. "Mr Iron, this is my sister I told you about before, Jade Laurell. She is the Queen of Jewels of Khanh City."
Iron narrowed his eyes as he glanced at Jade, which made Jade feel extremely uncomfortable, as it seemed like the man had some intentions hidden behind his gaze.
Then Jade turned to Marcus and reprimanded him. "Sister, I already told you that I can find someone to help you. What does this mean?"
"Jade, it's a matter of life and death for the family. We cannot take this matter lightly. I just feel safe with Mr. Iron with me" Marcus replied, his heart pounding.
Iron frowned. "Why, Mr Collins? Since you've invited someone else, does that mean you don't trust me?"
"Master Iron, please don't be angry. My sister was just trying to help my family. Think of it as a helping hand" Marcus replied.
"Help letter?" Finally the man realized the figure of Tyr sitting on the sofa while playing with his phone, Iron smiled. "Is he the one?"
"It's..."
Marcus immediately felt a little awkward. When he looked towards Tyr, it seemed like he was underestimating him greatly
"His age looks very young. Could he still be in school? Mr. Collins, did you invite him just to demonstrate how he died? Young man, do you need money? I want to give you some advice. In some cases, even though the money is already in the grasp, but the person will not be able to spend it!" said Iron.
Jade started replying unhappily, "There is a saying that says people who practice martial arts should not be judged by their age. Even for boxing competitions, participants are categorized based on their weight. When do we ever judge them by their age?"
Iron raised his eyebrows. "Miss Laurell, do you have any doubts about what I said?" He's also starting to look unhappy." How can you compare me to a boxer?"
As Iron spoke, he raised his palm to show how big his fist was on them. "I've been practicing martial arts since the age of four. It has been over forty years, this Iron Hand is getting a very tiring training."
"The famous "Gym Treasure of Hidden Vanguard Boxing, which weighed nearly 360 kilograms, was pushed three meters from its position with just one punch. Do you know what that means?"
Iron looked around arrogantly at Jade and the others.
"What does that mean?" Marcus hurriedly replied.
BUGS!
Iron suddenly slammed his palm on a wooden coffee table nearby. After hearing the sound of the expensive coffee table buzz it immediately broke into several large chunks.
"That's amazing!" marcus raised his thumb. "I've heard rumors about how powerful your Iron Fist is. Indeed, from what I just saw, the punch was indeed as strong as they said."
Iron took his hand proudly. "I can kill the bodyguards you're hiring out there with one punch. Whoever Patrick Reynold sent me later would also feel my punch," he said, sounding very confident.
Marcus nodded following everything he said. Although Iron initially felt a little worried, he now felt much more confident after demonstrating his strength abilities.
Just then, Tyr, who had been playing his tetris game ever since, only laughed softly. There was a sarcastic tone in his little laugh.
Iron's facial expression turned sour as he turned his head towards Tyr. "What are you laughing at?" There was a cold and unpleasant look in Iron's eyes.
Tyr grunting. "I laugh at you for being narrow-minded and stupid."
