CORONAS
25. SURPRISE PARTY OF YUVA

Supposedly. Perhaps Yuva's intention of conveying that was not to trigger Arfi's emotions. He only said that the lives of caldier users will eventually end tragically. Although by having many Life Points to support life, the caldier still can not prevent aging. The human body will slowly weaken with age. And it seems that Arfi misinterpreted it. Taking advantage of Arfi's misunderstanding, Yuva invites him to join. I suppose.

“Then, actually the meaning of your words earlier about the time is soon what?” I am still curious about Arfi.

“You can't know now.”

My breath is long. My back approached and kissed the wall. In the pocket of the right pants, I let my right hand freely slip into it. Then pulled an object that the police allowed the police to keep. Hitameong patterned gloves. I stared at these knitted gloves deeply. Though when viewed well, Hitameong's face looks annoying. He put on an angry face with his mouth open. I wonder, what exactly does Yuva like about this mascot? Cute is not. Make it worse yes. But the more I looked at these gloves, the more I saw Yuva in them. I miss.

One week after my arrest, I was brought to trial as a defendant to witness the judge's decision. Whether I am guilty or not. My mother was at the trial. His face looked uneasy. Her lips were as flattering as a prayer for me behind the face of anxiety she was trying to hide. Dawn and Krista accompany him. Their faces were like a positive aura that excited me.

Then for one week anyway, I didn't hear from Kak Alma or Bang Auron. They're both invisible around here. Maybe they managed to escape the police pursuit. In my heart I thank them if they are not caught despite having to bear the status of fugitive. It should be. We are innocent.

Regarding Arfi, he had already passed the trial first two hours before me, and he was found guilty. That is clear evidence. Even Arfi admitted it to me.

The trial was also one-sided. Prosecutors are beating me all out on various charges. I repeatedly brushed it off. But my reason is like the light reflected on a mirror. While the defense attorney is only – I hope hundreds of needles get into their mouths and rot their stomachs. Not useful at all. They were as the claimants had said and did not give any resistance.

The trial ended, and I was sentenced to the same sentence as the previous prisoner. After this trial is over, I and Arfi will be taken to the main prison located far enough from the city to be held there. The sound of my mother's screams was heard from behind as the judge tapped his hammer. There's nothing I can do. I don't have enough evidence to set myself free.

Sunday, 13 May 2046. Me and Arfi are already in Asahan's main prison. The prison contained many prisoners from all over the county. We were both in different cells but facing each other. In this new holding place, all the iron bars are controlled by a computer. There were no locks or locks hanging on the door. Only absolute iron poles are lined up as a confinement door. There are also a lot of prisoners in this place. One cell contains three to four inmates. But I was placed in a special room located at the very corner.

I heard the sound of amused laughter right from the direction of the cell in front of me. There is only Arfi. The two passing police guards smiled mockingly. It was as if Arfi had gone mad. Yes, Arfi laughed amusedly from inside there.

“What are you laughing at, Arfi?” many quick.

“The party will start at midnight, Eldan. You can't fall asleep first,” he said that sounded to be hiding something.

Twelve o'clock at night, seven minutes. That's what it looks like on a digital clock attached to my cell wall. The police guards watching were not as frequent as this afternoon. The prisoners also seemed to have calmed down a lot. It may be sleeping, or it may be playing a game of rummy in each of its cells. I deliberately didn't sleep remembering Arfi's words this afternoon.

I saw from across, Arfi stuffed his index finger into his mouth. Then his eyeballs spun randomly and let out sounds like people were about to vomit.

“Tu-wait! What are you doing, Arfi?” I shouted in a whisper.

Arfi is not pinched. One finger was seen hooking something from inside his throat. I couldn't see it clearly, but when I saw his thumb helping his index finger by forming a clip, I thought it was a very thin thread or rope. I was surprised to see it. Still with his two fingers clamping, his eyes twisting, and a sound like he was about to spit something out, he pulled the thin rope carefully. Then with a single blow of vomit. Completely puking this time, my eyes made her wide open to see something emerging from it.

“Magnetic scanner,” murmured when I saw the results of Arfi vomit in the form of a small rectangular object hanging tied with a thin rope wrapped in transparent plastic. The end of the rope was apparently tied to his molar teeth. So that when he swallowed it, he could pull it back out by utilizing a thin rope that he attached to his molars.

With the remnants of vomit water on his lips, Arfi grinned while looking at me. Immediately the outer plastic package of the remote scanner object was opened. He quickly attached the magnetic scanner to the iron frame in front of him.

“Arfi, don't-don't it?”

“Please wait a minute, Eldan. We'll be out of here soon.”

That meant Yuva was less than a kilometer away from this place. In prison there is no internet connection. If you want to hack, Yuva needs a magnetic scanner that comes from inside the prison and is attached to electronic objects or connected to a computer system. If he manages to hack the security system of this prison, Arfi and I can escape immediately. But it's not that simple. All the cells will be open and all the prisoners in this place will be free to escape. What was Yuva really planning?

The lights in the cell and the hallway lights started flickering. The time had gone for five minutes after Arfi plugged in the magnetic scanner. Seeing that, Arfi looked even more excited with her little smile and giggle as she looked at me.

“Yuva is really great, right Eldan? Look what he's done. I'm sure some of the police who saw this must be panicking like seeing a ghost,” said Arfi from the opposite cell.

I did not respond to Arfi's remarks. When it comes to making the lights flicker like this, does not it give a signal to the police to immediately stand by? What kind of plan was Yuva really thinking about?

Click! There was a sound coming from the direction of the cell door. I saw Arfi open it immediately and he made it out. Arfi waving her hand – invites me. I did the same thing to get out. Some of the inmates who were still conscious saw me and Arfi were already outside. Without a second thought, they opened the cell door and exited their respective cells. Their lips paint laughter. They were boisterous, while waking up the other prisoners who had not realized that the door of his cell was open.

Lighting conditions are still flickering. But the hallway was crowded with prisoners who immediately scattered to escape.

“We let them first who paved the way for us. I'm sure the police are busy trying to secure all of them,” said Arfi confidently.
