I thought about the condition of the dead Dance in a cause for concern. I can't imagine her mother knowing that her daughter tragically died while on vacation with us. Plus we didn't come home to take Tari's body home. I just hope to be given patience to her mother Dance which I also consider as my own mother.
"I'm sorry Jenna, Mom. We still have to find Lukman here. Jenna can't deliver Tari's departure." I said by phone. Fortunately, her mother Dari understood our condition.
"Where are you from?" ask Tommy who looks scared.
"Why are you Tom?" I ran towards her because I was worried about her situation.
"Bec ... Dance, Jen." she said.
"Yes, we already know. You calm down, yes. Dance's been brought home." I said to appease Tommy. Although men, Tommy is soft in feeling. His heart is fragile like a woman.
"Oh yeah, Lukman is back?" I'm looking around. Tommy shakes. My mind is screwed, at a time like this even Lukman disappeared somewhere. I know Robby must be very emotional knowing this. But he didn't show it.
"We'll find out tonight. I'm sure Lukman had something to do with Dance's death." Robby whispered to me. I didn't answer. My mind is full of riddles that I cannot answer. Just this first I found a mess that concerned my friends.
"Rob, what can I do?" I shed tears.
"You can do it, Jen. Especially now that you have it." His hand pointed towards my pendant.
"Can this help?" manya curious.
"Hopefully. We will be protected by ancestors to defeat them, demons who ally with humans for evil" he said.
"I'm not sure, Rob." I replied.
"You must be sure. We will always be together" he said.
Tonight, Robby and Tommy scramble to find Lukman who hasn't returned since last night. I don't know where he disappeared to, leaving no trace. Even his stuff he didn't bring.
"Rob, look at this" I said, giving a black plastic package I found in Lukman's backpack. Robby grabbed it and immediately opened the package. Our eyes were perfectly rounded with what we saw in them. Sow flowers are quite a lot in neatly wrapped with black plastic and along with fragrant oil that somehow feels so stinging in the nose.
"What's this?" tommy said as he scratched the flower.
"There's a picture of Jenna here." Tommy suddenly yells while taking a small photo. As fast as lightning, I took a photo in Tommy's hand. Sure enough, a picture of me that somehow Lukman got from nowhere tucked between the sow flowers.
"Rob." I said softly. Robbie seemed to be thinking something.
"Have there been any strange signs against Lukman?" ask Robby. I'm shaking.
"I never realized anything about it." I said softly.
"This is two possibilities" Robby said later.
"What do you mean?" tommy asked no less curious.
"Antara Lukman wants to do the same pellet Jena, or it could be the next victim" said Robby grasped my photo. I looked up and closed my open mouth with the palm of my hand.
"La ... Then what should I do?" many nervous.
"We need to act fast" Robby said.
Rushing we brought the goods and set out to find Lukman's whereabouts.
"Are we sure we're looking for these nights?" said Tommy.
"We've followed Robby" I replied.
My feet are very tired. Plus we haven't had a break this afternoon in preparation for tonight's search. We were just busy organizing a strategy to quickly find Lukman and get back to the city. Moreover, this has passed our work holiday.
Neng .. nong .. neng .. gung ...
We looked at each other. Robby ordered us to stay alert with the surroundings. Walk cautiously without making much noise.
"It looks like we're entering the village area. There are others who do not see the celebration or the stage like it." whispered Tommy who did not understand about the stage what is actually being performed. Because when I saw Dari dancing with the dancers, Tomy was waiting for the tent because she was worried about Tari coming back and the tent was empty.
"Sssstttt .. don't be rash. Don't make a lot of noise." pinta Robby followed by a nod of my head. Tommy looks confused. He patted me on the shoulder to see what Robby meant and I just gestured to be patient.
We still keep walking. Seen in front there a lot of torch light makes the atmosphere of the night look bright. We saw from a distance. Although not too far but enough to observe what activities there. Looks young and beautiful dancers are busy breezing their bodies following the sound of gamelan in the tabuh. Some men with black masks also seem fun to continue to beat the gamelan. From a distance also seen a woman in a red dress sitting on a bench that resembles a throne. With two women next to him busy holding a large fan pointed at the woman. You could say they were both ladies-in-waiting for the queen.
"This is the stage of society or the kingdom anyway?" tommy whispered.
"They're the ones we have to deal with now" Robby said.
"meaning? we want that war? What the hell is this?" ask Tommy curious.
"And we were clear fit in the camp" I said a little emotion. Tommy just grinned. I know actually Tommy didn't really listen to Robby's explanation. Not because I don't want to hear, but because Tommy doesn't understand what situation we're in right now. Although male, but Tommy's soul is soft as female. He was the most affectionate and excited when something happened between us.
"Jen, look. That ... it .. " said Tommy stopped as his index finger led to several dancers who were wriggling their bodies in front of a large audience.
I immediately brushed off his forefinger and asked Tomy to remain calm and silent.
