Silently, suddenly the sound of a bang on the door of the room disappeared by itself. Even this time the atmosphere became quiet. I got up and tried to get closer to the door. Peek out of the keyhole gap to find out who's banging on the door out there.
My eyes are definitely limited. You can only see right in front of the keyhole. It doesn't look anything out there. Even the dining room looked deserted there was no sign of anyone else there.
Tok...
The sound of footsteps with shoes rang out right behind me. The nape felt cramped, cold sweat began to come out and wet the forehead. I swallowed the saliva and tried to regulate the breathing that had begun to irregular. The heart is uncontrollable, like it wants to jump out of place. I slowly turned around, facing my back to the door of the room leaning against the wall of the door.
My eyes swept around, there was nothing in the room. It was only the seconds of the clock that I put on the small table right next to the bed.
Tok...
But clearly the sound of footsteps sounded close to me. An invisible figure but my presence felt. I slowly pressed the hinge of the room door and prepared to run out.
Brruuugg...
"Aarrhhh..."
My body bounced so hard that I fell in a sitting position.
"Jenna, sorry. You all right?" Robby came closer, holding both my shoulders. In an instant I clenched tightly onto his huge body to calm the irregular heartbeat.
"Jen, what's wrong?" Robby didn't try to let go of my embrace. Maybe he gave me a chance to let go of my fear of him. I cried sobbing. The grip of my hand was getting stronger, making Robby probably feel astonished and uncomfortable. I could not tell what I had just experienced, until it was all quiet and dark.
"Son, are you okay?" I blinked my eyes. The smell of wind oil in both of my nostrils. Even my legs felt like something was moving.
"Mama." call me soft on the figure of a woman who looks panicked is applying wind oil on my hand.
"Yes, honey. Mama's here." she said gently while holding my hand. While down there, Robby was stomping my feet.
"What's wrong with you, Jen?" Robby did not panic. He pulled up his chair and chose to sit next to me.
"What's up, Jen?" mama asked, worried.
"So there's a banged-up room door, Ma." I replied softly. Mama and Robby looked at each other.
"Who?" ask Mama. I'm shaking.
"There is no one outside, Ma." I replied in a soft voice.
"Why did you even run out?" this time Robbie asked.
"Sorry, Rob."
"No, I don't have a problem. But why do you even want to run out if there is someone outside the door? You should have stayed in the room and locked the door from the inside." said Robby at length who was also approved by Mama.
"Yes, Son. Danger if it turns out there are bad people who want to do things at home. Especially now that you are alone." said Mama advised me.
"Woman, that woman is here, Rob" I said in a trembling voice. Robby's face changed instantly. The face that had been ordinary now turned pias and paled.
"Whose woman do you mean?" mama asked, too, curious.
"Woman in a red dress, Ma. He was in the mirror of the closet. Jenna saw it for herself she was.." I didn't go on with what I said to make Mama and Robby seem confused. But the two did not dare to ask the continuation, they knew that I was in shock.
"Rob, he's here. Is he taking me too?" I cried heartily considering that my three friends were all dead. Especially considering the condition of Dance when it was found to scare me if I would eventually become a victim like Dance as well.
"Where are you taking it, Jen?" Robby tried to calm me down.
"Relax, nothing will take you" Robby said. But my heart still cannot calm down. Especially after I saw for myself the reflection of the glass cupboard that the figure of the woman was carrying with her Tari and Tommy by tying the three with an iron chain wrapped around their necks. Even the bodies of my two friends look battered like they have just been tortured.
"Son, already. Everything's gonna be fine. Mama will take care of you from now on." said Mama trying to calm me down.
