A few days passed, but Erita did not see the man's nose appear before her. It shouldn't matter but I don't know why Erita thought about it. Moreover, the man's departure is only a few weeks away, which means he will not have a husband pretending again when checking next month.
With an increasingly indecisive heart, Erita grabbed the phone in her bag while watching her employees busy serving Cafe visitors who are not too crowded today.
"Assalamualaikum, what's up Erita." The answer across there made Erita a little relieved.
"Wa'alaikum hail, wherever you don't show your nose." Erita spoke without worrying that she would be offended, whereas before she was so polite as to call him Kak Dev.
"You miss me?" ask the man so confidently.
"Not really, just a little wonder I didn't see you." replied Erita again.
"Say if you miss, just don't want to admit it." Dev teased her a little.
"What can I miss about you, I don't think there is" she replied.
"All right, I'll pick you up later. What do you want to eat?" tanya Dev sounds happy.
"Near the park." Erita remembered near their house there was a garden that was so crowded in the afternoon.
"Then don't go home before I come." said Dev again in a seducing voice.
"If it's not long, if it's too long I'll go home." Erita pretended not to wait.
"No, believe me I'll pick you up." Dev convinced.
"Yes." Yeah." Dev closes his phone call first.
*
Until the afternoon, Dev got out of his car and approached Erita who was already standing in front of the Cafe, the man looked delighted to see the pregnant young mother standing waiting for him.
"Come on!" take her straight to the car, and they drive slowly towards the park near their home.
"You want some ice cream?" Dev remembers Erita buying ice cream with Dimitri.
"Yes" she replied smiling.
Dev bought it and brought the ice cream to Erita who was sitting on a park bench.
"Thank you." said Erita again.
"Eat, I love watching you eat ice cream like it was with Dimitri." Dev looked at her gently.
"You're watching me." Erita laughs.
"Of course, you just don't want to see me." Dev still smiled with unblinking eyes.
Erita enjoyed the ice cream casually, her beautiful eyes looking back and forth enjoying the atmosphere that afternoon.
"Erita." call Dev after a long silence.
"Hem?" Erita.
"Three more weeks I'll leave" he said seriously, greeting Erita's face with sadness and not missing every inch.
"I know, then?" asked Erita not understand.
"I've found a suitable housekeeper for Dimitri, I'm not too worried because she lives not far from our house." Dev paused his speech. "But there is one thing that still worries me" he added.
"What?" erita asked, seriously listening to Dev's expression.
"You." she replied staring at Erita's face.
"You don't have to worry about me, there's Aji's sister here." replied Erita smiling and looking down.
"Erita." call her again.
"May I be a father to your son?" dev said looking serious, there was no joke in his words.
"You've become his father." Erita laughs.
"I'm serious Erita, before I go let me marry you so that when you give birth to your child you don't have to bear the questions that make your heart ache. I know I don't deserve you, taoia I think I can be a husband on paper for the sake of your son, as well as your pride" he added.
"It's free if you go." Erita still did not want to respond too much.
"I will be gone for a long time, nor do I guarantee that I will return safely. The area I'm coming to is full of gun conflicts, and as I told you I'd love to die with respect."
"It was suicide" Erita said softly and this time sounded sad.
"That's different, I fought wholeheartedly instead of asking to be killed" Dev replied smiling.
"You married me and then you left and didn't come back. It was just like Adi, leaving deep wounds and very difficult to heal." Erita smiled bitterly.
"Different Erita, I went to duty, where know my sins that have piled up this God forgive with the Shahid." Dev looked calm.
Erita noticed his handsome face, somehow imagining him going made her restless, her heart was completely agitated.
"How's Erita? If you're willing, I'll take care of our wedding files and you'll be listed as my wife. I'll calmly go on duty even though I'll always think of you and Dimitri. But at least when you gave birth you had my wife and your son's status as my son, the younger brother of Dimitri, the boy who always bothered you." Dev remembers his son always calling and bothering Erita.
"That's not true, I liked Dimitri, even before I got to know you this close" Erita replied plainly.
"Then you don't mind being my wife?" dev asked not to waste a chance.
"Well!" Erita could no longer say.
"I won't touch you, I know Erita very well. But really I love you and he'll have a father at birth, it makes me calm and not always think of you alone." Dev convinced.
"You make me feel like a burden." Erita put the melted ice cream on the park bench.
"That's all I can do" he said sincerely.
"I want Dimitri to stay with me." asked Erita no less seriously.
"That'll just trouble you, Erita, let her at home, if you need her you can contact her, she'll come through the rat's path." dev replied pointing towards the narrow alleyway which became a fast road to Erita's house.
Erita laughs. "Right as well" he said only to realize if there is a shortcut to his house.
"Are you ready?" ask Dev again.
"I have to talk to Brother, if he agrees, I'll be willing."
"Let me talk to Aji, you don't have to worry." Dev is so happy to convince Erita.
"Let's go home?" invite Dev to feel like he's done with their conversation.
"To our house." invited Erita, he really wanted to see the state of the house since Aji lived alone.
"Don't look like a ship broke?" Dev laughed knowing Erita's head.
They laugh together.
That night Dev really talked seriously with Aji, he was trying to convince his intention just to help Erita.
"Are you sure?" Aji asks Dev, in fact Aji himself is not convinced.
"Yes." replied Dev solemnly.
"I need to talk to Erita first." Aji still doesn't want to rush.
"All right." Dev can only try, the rest is up to God.
