Suspicious

Throughout the journey Amanda chose silence without intending to say a word. Similarly, Bastian, men are also silent and choose to focus on driving activities. Until they both arrived at their apartment.

Amanda tried to divert the mood, as she arrived at the apartment. As soon as possible, he left Bastian and headed for his room. But his intentions seemed to be known by Bastian.

"Where are you going?" bastian. The sentence immediately stopped Amanda's steps.

"You don't try to avoid it. Sit down!" rejoicing

Amanda nodded her resigned head, then sat her body on the sofa located in the room.

Bastian stared fixedly at his wife, figuring out what the girl was hiding from him.

"Give me that thing?" bastian said as he pointed at the black flat-shaped object, which was being held by Amanda.

"What's Bus doing?"

"Don't ask me too much, give me your phone now, or I'll take it by force" Bastian said.

There was no other choice for Amanda but to give up. He timidly gave the phone that he had been holding to Bastian. Trying to guess what it was that her husband checked his personal cell phone. And hopefully anxious, hopefully there is no strange message in it.

Bastian carefully checked his wife's phone. Bastian wanted to make sure something about who his wife was actually meeting. However, he did not find anything suspicious inside the phone. Bastian was even surprised to find there were only three names stored in the phone. Himself, Billy, and Ella besides are no more. Even incoming messages, only from the three numbers.

What is this, I didn't see it wrong, did I? Amanda only has three cell phone numbers? Does the company he works for have no co-workers? Why does everything seem so strange and absurd.

Bastian gave up, trying to breathe as much air as he could. He returned the phone to his wife.

"Your job at the Opportunity Group company, what exactly is Manda?" bastian asked in interrogation

Amanda was quite surprised to find a question that sounded spontaneous from Bastian times. It's quite sudden, and honestly Amanda hasn't thought of this before.

"Em, I don't really understand Bas either. The point is, yes, I'll help you there. Sometimes asked to deliver files, asked to see a client. Anyway anything, I'm working on Bas," he replied trying to convince Bastian

"You think I believe in all your words? Which office person does such a job. What else is the Opportunity Group class," argued Bastian

"Yes, then I have to explain what else is the same to you. My job is like that, Bas. It can be accepted as an employee only, already grateful to me," Amanda replied. Hoping with that, Bastian undoes his intention to find out about his true self.

They were silent for a moment, Bastian no longer asked his wife anything. Looks like Amanda's words just now were able to make the man speechless. Bastian remembers what his father said at the time, if Amanda was an orphan.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you" Bastian later said. He felt a little guilty, because he had suspected his wife who was not-no.

"I'm just a little curious about your work there. After all, I've said many times, just quit that job" he added

"I'm sorry, Bas. I need time to make a decision" he replied.

Amanda needs time to clean up all the mess she's made. Explain who she is to her husband. And maybe after that, she could just stop working and give up her company to be managed by her husband. It takes time, not for now.
