The Problem of Responsibility

"When did my money become your money?" bastian asked when they were already in the car, leaving the supermarket where they were shopping.

Turns out to be silent and defeat Bastian, does not mean the matter is finished. He will not stop talking, as long as he has not found a reason that can make him speechless. Funny, but that's how he is. Don't ask why it turned out that way. All this because Amanda's his wife. The woman was happy to encourage her husband to argue.

"Why, is something wrong?" amanda asked back

"Well, obviously it was a mistake. We both work together, and have our own income. After all, wasn't that time, you once said, I don't have to give you back" he explained

"You forgot yes, I prepare food every day for you. Have breakfast, prepare your lunch, and dinner, too,"

The conversation has started everywhere. It is no longer about agreements, but about their responsibilities inside the house, which should not be important to question

"That's the wife's duty. Cooking, cleaning the house, and serving the husband are the responsibilities of women after marriage," Bastian's responsibility is not to be outdone

"Well, that's you know if all that is my responsibility. What is your responsibility as a husband. Of course nothing else and nothing is to support a wife," Amanda replied

"That's why husband's money is wife's money. It should be all your income, I manage it" Amanda said

Bastian smiled happily at his wife. It seems their relationship, is undergoing so much progress. No more silence dominated them, both of them. Both when eating together, and when traveling like this. It doesn't matter if they always discuss things that are not important. That way, they can get to know each other and understand each other's character.

"So, now I can take responsibility for supporting you. What was our agreement then?" said Bastian who seems he still has no intention of ending the debate

"Tell me you promised to start everything right. Doing each of our responsibilities well. And you proposed the idea yourself, too" Amanda replied

Bastian looked at his wife for a while and then refocused on the highway. If Amanda's already starting to blame her, she'd better shut up. The word woman will always be right, so there will be no right reason for her to defend herself.

"Why are you silent, I mispronounced?" amanda asked, after a few minutes of silence, waiting for Bastian to respond.

"No, I'm just out of words" Bastian said

"Manda, what if you don't have to work anymore" he said later

"You mean?"

"Yes, you're just a housewife. Take care of the house, tell me and maybe take care of our kids later. I am ready to support you born and inner. After all, married women are not required to work" explained Bastian

"That can't be Bastian, I have to keep working. Because work is half my life" Amanda said

Amanda had no idea how she would respond to her husband's words. He knows very well that if he is married, he already has other responsibilities, besides himself. A married woman is the responsibility of her husband.
