A Part II of the Past

After that loving romantic night passed, now the two lovebirds must be faced with a difficult problem. Def had to move out of the country to take care of one of his parents' businesses.

Of course this was a tough choice for Def, leaving his new girlfriend a few days in his possession. But not the love of his name, if Def gives up. He promised Amanda that he would be faithful to their love.

"I promise you, baby, I will take care of this heart for you. I will not turn away. I love you, wait for me here," Def said as he left his girlfriend Amanda.

Time keeps on traveling. Passed according to his own destiny. He never waits for you, he never asks for your permission, for you to prepare as he leaves. Such was the time, like the air was impossible to grasp.

Amanda and Def have been separated for a year. Separated by time and space. During that time, problems kept coming back and forth. It seems like Def forgot his promise. Without him knowing himself, slowly but surely he hurt Amanda indirectly. The girl almost every day gets the news, that her lover has another woman besides her. This can be proven for a year Def rarely ever tell him. He always had to be busy with business.

Amanda also often finds some photos of her lover being alone with other women out there. That's pretty painful isn't it?

When you're here to keep your heart for the one you love so much, while the one you love gives his heart to someone else. But not the love of his name, if you don't turn into a stupid human being. Amanda is stupid. He never cared about all the people talking about his girlfriend. He was too naive, he believed Def was unlikely to hurt him.

" Def, you're not gonna hurt me, are you? I love you Def, really," Amanda said on the phone

" Dear, I love you so much, I miss you here. Have patience Amanda, once everything is done I'll go home for you" Def replied

"I believe you're Def, when are you going home? I miss..,"

That is how every day the foolish woman speaks to her beloved. Love is a very dangerous poison. You can never think logically. Be careful, love can kill you

"Manda, do you have a minute for us to talk" Ella smiled.

"What's Ella, let's sit down. Lately I've been very busy and so have you. We haven't spent a long time together" Amanda smiled.

They were both in Amanda's office. Both girls are always busy with work. Let alone to chat casually, to take care of themselves sometimes neglected.

" Amanda, how's your relationship with Def?" ask Ella to start the conversation

"It's okay Ella. I miss her so much" Amanda said sadly.

Seeing the look on her best friend's face, Ella became angry. It's not that he didn't know Def was a jerk. He's been telling Amanda how many times about Def's affair. But Amanda never paid attention to that. He believes in Def.

" Did Def call you today? I heard he's been coming back to Indonesia since yesterday" Ella said

"You're serious....?" ella said in disbelief.

"She hasn't told me since a week ago Ella. Well, I have to call her Ella. I want to see him. I miss you, " said Amanda excitedly.

He took his cell phone, called Def.

" PREAAK...! Ella grabbed the phone in Amanda's hand, and slammed it on the floor

" What are you doing Ella" Amanda said in shock

"I didn't think about you. That jerk changed you, Amanda. You're not you anymore. You're not the Amanda I know" Ella half-screamed

"PLAAK, "Amanda's slap landed on Ella's cheek, leaving a red mark on her face.

"What's my fault with you Ella. How dare you yell at me. You are my friend, not my enemy. You always talk bad about Def to me. You said you wanted me to be happy, Ella, and Def was my happiness" Amanda said

"Amanda, I want you to be happy, but not with a jerk like Def. He's not as smooth as you think Manda is. Come on, open your eyes. Everything I told you was true. I don't want you to fall for the wrong man Manda" Ella said.

"Get out of my room Ella. I don't want to hear anything from your mouth. You're mean to me, Ella, mean!" amanda shouted while crying.

"I don't intend to hurt you, Manda. I want you to be aware. That'sthat's all. You're too good for her Amanda" Ella said, embracing her best friend.

"Take it easy, I've lost my family, Manda, and you're the only one I have. Your happiness is my happiness too. I don't want to lose my family again" Ella said.

"I'm sorry Ella, I didn't mean to..."

"I understand how you feel Manda" Ella interjected

"Fight for your love I will support you" Ella smiled.

"Ck, you said you didn't support me with Def. Ella, you are" Amanda said with a frown

"You are a fool Manda" said Ella Meledek

"What do you say, I'm stupid. Dare you, "Amanda hit Ella with a pillow.

"Sir, sick Manda. What the hell are you. Anything play hand,

" said Ella again with a laugh

"IIiiiiiiihhh Ella. You're just so damn sure," I'm Amanda

"Hihihi, sorry Manda. I was just kidding. You're just mad. Huh, weak," said Ella again with increasingly loud laughter.

Amanda's still pouting. He was upset with his best friend.

"I'm not stupid Ella. There are rich fools like me" he said proudly

"If you're not a fool, you should realize that the person you love is not a good person" Ella said

"Are you serious about Ella's words? I'll find out for myself about Def. Let's hope what you think is wrong" Amanda said confidently

"I support you Manda" Ella smiled
