Lie Again

A loud sound like an object falling and breaking made Rian rush out of the hospital. The man was driving his car through a crowded street by motorists some of whom came home from work. Rian got a call from Sandra, the woman said that she suddenly had a high fever and there was no doctor around her house.

After all, the house that Rian lent to Sandra was far from the crowd. After traveling for about two hours, Rian finally arrived at his home. The sky had darkened a while ago. The man got out of his car and immediately entered, in his hand carrying a plastic bag containing medicines that might be needed later.

“Sandra!” call Rian when he finds his house very dark.

The man turned on the light. How shocked to find his house in disarray. Rian rushed to find the whereabouts of the woman. Although Sandra's mentality is certainly still shaken and she still needs medical help and someone's assistance.

Rian breathed a sigh of relief when he found Sandra curled up on the bed. That's right what that woman said on the phone. Sandra was in a high fever, cold sweat was pouring out of her forehead and the woman was shivering with cold.

Rian immediately gave first aid, he made a compress for Sandra. Rian's cold hand that had accidentally come into contact with Sandra's skin, made the woman screech in shock. His eyes slowly frowned when the first thing he saw was Rian's face.

“Ke hospital, huh? Fever lo high,” said Rian when successfully pasted a warm towel on Sandra's forehead.

Sandra shook her head slowly as a rejection of Rian's remark. He was afraid that when he was in the hospital, Kevin might come to see him.

“I want at home,” replied Sandra softly.

“But I can't keep lo..”

“Nothing, you stay only medicine in this house. I can take care of myself,” cut Sandra.

Truly hearing Rian's words made him sad, he hoped that this man in front of him could stay and take care of him until he was healed. But Sandra was self-conscious, she was now no one in Rian's life. The man wanted to come immediately had already greatly comforted him.

Rian sat on the chair facing the bed where Sandra slept. The woman fell asleep after dinner and took her medicine, the effect of which allowed her to fall asleep. The man looked at the face of the woman in front of him, there was a sense of guilt arising within him.

Guilty to the two women he had lied to and this one woman in front of him. The ringing of the phone in Rian's pocket left him a little surprised. The man immediately came out from there to answer his call. His chest rumbled violently when he found out who called him.

“Halo?” greet Rian.

“Mas Rian where? So, right, dinner together?” ask from across there.

Rian ruffled his hair in frustration. Again he forgot Alice, forgot his promise with the girl.

“Sorry, Al. Suddenly I have business, next time we have dinner together,” replied Rian.

“Mas Rian is still busy, huh? It's okay, Mom. We can get out next time.”

“Sorry, Al.” Only that word could be spoken from Rian's mouth at this moment.

“Iya, Mas. No problem. That's why Alice hung up, huh? Don't forget dinner,” said Alice ending their shackling.

Rian sat on a chair on the porch. His head was bowed in lethargy. The lies he made grew bigger and now he feels sorry and scared. However, Rian was more afraid that if he told her honestly Alice would leave him. Small lies that are getting longer become big lies and can become fatal later.

“Gue is not ready to be honest with Alice,” muttered Rian.

Rian went back inside the house, he checked back on Sandra. The woman's fever had gone down a bit making Rian breathe a sigh of relief. The man left a note that he put on the table along with the required medicines. Rian then left the house.

Rian immediately drove his car away from his home. He decided to go back to his apartment. Today felt very tiring both physically and mentally. Rian really needs a break for now.

While elsewhere, Alice had just arrived at the Fia boarding house. A little disappointed actually when Rian suddenly canceled their appointment. Alice had arrived at a restaurant after coming home from work, long enough she waited at the restaurant.

However, Rian did not also reveal the trunk of his nose. Alice had also deliberately not brought her motorbike, she went to work on public transport. Although Alice was confused when she wanted to go home, because it was late at night and many public vehicles were not operating.

“Abis eat out,” Alice replies lying.

Fia looked at her best friend with a suspicious look, Alice looking very suspicious at the moment. However, Fia did not want to be too cool on the life of her best friend. Moments later, Alice came out of the bathroom. His nose smelled the micin scent of instant noodles that had just been cooked by Fia. Alice immediately approached her best friend. Sure enough, Fia was eating instant noodles. Suddenly Alice's stomach became rumbling, because it had not been filled since. Alice lied when she had dinner.

“Gue asks, Fi,” said Alice trying to snatch a spoon in Fia's hand.

“Says you were over for dinner?” asked Fia scrunched her forehead.

“Gue laper again,” replied Alice and devoured the noodles she had snatched from Fia.

“Ckck, rubber belly base. Sana lo cook alone, I laper have not eaten earlier.”

“After I just asked for a bite,” murmured Alice with an annoyed face.

“Mouth lo if mangap wide. A bribe can one serving of noodles go all into the mouth lo,” said Fia.

“Pelit lo,” reply Alice and she walks away from there.

Alice settles down on the bed, grabs her phone hoping for a chat from Rian. However, the phone is very quiet. Not a single chat came into his phone. The woman put her phone back down and she sighed in disappointment.
