Reni's Request
Alice ran down the hospital corridor, earlier she was on the phone by Nina –one of the employees at tavern–. Nina reports that Reni is back in the hospital. Alice's job in Rian's apartment is done. Alice regulated her breathing before entering Reni's inpatient room. After knocking on the door and Nina opening the door for him, Alice went inside. In there Reni was lying weakly on the bed. Infusion and oxygen hoses are also installed.
“Mother why, Nin?”
“Drop again, Ma'am. Sandra's sister went to the store, but Nina didn't know what they were talking about,” explained Nina, making Alice surprised.
‘You're especially interested in Sandra seeing Mom?’ inner Alice.
“Yes, you go home. Let my mother take care, today I permit first. By the way Mother Goddess huh? Let him handle first.”
“Iya, Ma'am. Then Nina comes home first.”
“Still yes, Nin.”
“Iya, Mbak.”
Alice walked closer to Reni's bed, rubbing Reni's right hand, which was freed from the infusion, gently. Alice could not bear to see Reni's weak body. She is a good and tough woman.
Reni opened her eyes, she looked around. Reni smiled faintly as she saw Alice sitting next to her bed. Alice, who saw Reni, stood up from her seat.
“How is Mom doing? Is anyone sick?” alice asked, holding Reni's right hand.
“Call Mom yes, Alice?” pinta Reni's.
Hearing Reni's request made Alice feel bad. Alice remembered how they had met before.
“Iya, Ma,” Alice replied with a smile.
“Thank you, dear.”
Alice smiled, feeling that she had regained the affection of parents she had not found for a long time.
“Mama want what? Drinkies? Or want to eat?”

Without both of them knowing, outside the room Rian stood listening to the chatter of the two people he loved the most. Rian intends to stop by to see the mother before she performs the operation. Rian's smile printed on his lips, the man passed from there.

Until nightfall, Alice still survives in the hospital accompanying Reni. The girl will come home if Rian is back. He was informed by one of the nurses that Rian had been operating since noon. Reni is asleep, while Alice is studying. He came home for a while to get a change of clothes and books. Reni doesn't know if Alice is leaving. Alice yawned, feeling drowsiness. However, the girl still forced herself to read the book.
“Over the day of operation, from noon in fact,” murmured Alice saw a clock on the wall that had shown ten o'clock at night.
Alice fell asleep in a sitting position. His head was put to sleep on the table with the book still scattered. A few minutes later, Reni's ward door opened. And not long before Rian entered with his tired face, his eyes were already pocketed. His eyes unintentionally looked at Alice who looked uncomfortable with her sleeping position.
The man approached the girl and sat down next to her. He tidied up the fallen hair boy covering Alice's pretty face. Rian moves Alice to the sofa to make her sleep more comfortable, but suddenly the girl wakes up.
“Oh? Mas Rian, are you done?” alice asked her eyes.
“Iya, just finished earlier.”
“It's Alice coming home first, Mas,” said Alice tidying up her things.
“Udah mallem, Al. You just want to get here. You can use my room, there is bed.”
Alice snorted at Rian's offer, sleeping in the man's room? What if someone suddenly comes in? He could get in trouble later.
“Nevent gone, Mas. Alice is back..”.
Not yet had Alice finish her words, the girl was startled by Rian's face which suddenly approached.

Alice's face was pale. “Jang..”.
“Sst, later mama wake up.”

Rian walked into Reni's inpatient room. The man frowned looking at Reni who was apparently not asleep. Rian rubbed his nape awkwardly, meaning that his mother had heard all the talk with Alice since. Also the brief kiss earlier must have been his mother saw.

“But he is not Rian's son, Ma,” said Rian opened his voice.
“How do you know?”
“Rian never crossed the line with Sandra,” I'm Rian.
Reni looked surprised. “Really? Then now you can grant Mama's request?”
