Mahmud wanted to say hello to Dinda, so did Dinda. But they put him away, because Mahmud saw that Dinda was seriously sitting in conversation with some people in front of him. Dinda, too, wanted to give his official letter to Mahmud, but the official letter had been asked by Mr. Udin to help submit it to Mahmud.
"And, please just go straight to the financial room for the solution," said Mr. Udin.
"O, I see, sir," Mahmud and Andi went up from there, looking at Dinda as she looked down and wrote.
Some of the people who met Dinda had come out of the room. Dinda looked at the chair in front of the table Mr. Udin had empty.
"Loh! They're out apparently." Mumbled Dinda in the heart.
Dinda let out a long, heavy sigh then let go of it violently. He continued his work with confusion.
Mr. Udin left the room, he was about to go to the field, also wanted to see the preparation of the Ezra team to go to service while being escorted by Bripda Mahmud and Briptu Andi.
Dinda stood up from her chair she walked towards the door of her room, about to get out. Dinda's steps stopped there because at the same time Dinda saw Mahmud in a full police uniform walking out of the financial room and walking towards the office exit in haste.
Mahmud also turned to Dinda who was standing looking at him from the door of his room. Their eyes locked each other. Both of them with tense faces without a word, their mouths locked tightly. No one said hello or uttered a word. Both of them wanted to get the word out, but it looked very heavy.
Mahmud continued walking, finally Mahmud turned to the door and walked out. Dinda, wants the heart to run after Mahmud out, but he doesn't. He just lowered his sad face. His face turned red as though tears were dripping from both of his eyes. His heart was sore and painful. The beautiful and happy love that he just felt as if he had been struck by the sharpness of a knife.
Mahmud who had walked down the stairs, after a few steps to the office yard, he reversed his steps and went back into the office, he was going to the financial room because there was something left behind.
"Why are you still there?" Mahmud asked only in his heart when he saw Dinda still standing down at the door of his room. Mahmud continued walking towards the financial space.
Not seeing Mahmud return, Dinda who lowered her head and had tears ran back while wiping her tears and went into the toilet, not to pee or beabe, he said, but just to calm himself and his heart.
"Don't be crazy, Dinda! You are wrong in loving! Why are you breaking your own commitment?! Didn't you say not to know dating? Is not dating forbidden in religion? Conscious Dinda! Conscious! You have loved wrong! Hiiks…! Hiiiikkkk…!" Dinda became weeping and more tears rushed out from her two eyes, while cursing herself.
Mahmud came out of the financial room no longer seeing Dinda standing at the door of his room. This time he wanted to meet and say goodbye to Dinda, he walked straight to Dinda's room, but when he looked into the empty room, there was no one there.
"Where? How come there's no?" Mahmud asked softly, looking back and forth to find Dinda's whereabouts. Because they did not find, finally Mahmud out of the office and rushed to the opposite side of the preparation to escort the team that will leave the Service, while Mahmud and Andi aplusan replaced with brimob that will be assigned to the current month.
A few minutes in the bathroom. After being satisfied and feeling relieved, he stopped his crying.
"Don't be weak, Dinda! Don't cry! Must toughen! Strong!" Dinda encouraged herself.
Then wash his face with water several times to remove the scars.
"Smile! Hide your wounds behind your smile! Don't let anyone laugh at your stupidity!" Dinda continued to curse herself, and tried to smile. Smiling as usual.
Dinda entered the room with a fresh face because she washed her face. He sat in front of his computer. Want to input data to the computer, but the mind is still not in sync with the work. Finally he just played games on the computer to eliminate the sadness of his heart.
"Din, let's go home!" Without feeling the clock has shown twelve o'clock. Ana stood at the door of Dinda's room.
"Yes, Mother. Wait for me to turn off the computer first!" Dinda shut down her computer and unplugged the power outlet.
Then out of the office went hand in hand with Ana.
Empty! Lonely! Be quiet! Overcoming feelings. It was as if something big had been lost to him. That's what Dinda feels right now.
"Must be at peace with this void!" He said it but only in his heart.
Along the way home, Dinda and Ana just keep quiet. No one's making a sound. And in the end, they had reached the kitchen for lunch.
"Well, it smells fresh, what's the menu, huh?" Ask Ana to guess.
"Not to be guessed, Din. Look at it straight away!"
"Heee.. hee." Dinda and Ana go straight to the back table looking at the lunch menu.
"Wow, rice pecel. I like it, right!" Dinda without taking the rice, he immediately put various vegetables on his plate then poured the pecel sauce on it, continuing to add crackers.
Dinda sat down where she used to sit to eat. Ana who had also filled her plate with rice pecel sat beside Dinda.
"Din, so it feels lonely, huh?"
"You mean, Mommy?" Dinda looked towards Ana.
"And there's been a few less people from Ezra's team, and the police have also returned to their origin,"
"Hemmm, yes, yes" said Dinda, while continuing to eat pecel without rice in front of him.
"But the application will soon also come with a replacement, Ma'am." Said Dinda later.
"When we know them, Din. If you don't know, no one wants to play to our place" said Ana.
After eating, Dinda and Ana return to the dormitory. Once in the room, Dinda immediately threw her body into the bed, as well as Ana. But Ana still had time to change her clothes with a nightgown. Unlike Dinda, she did not even let go of her hijab directly throwing her body onto the bed just like that. His heart and mind were not at peace. But he always tried to be calm.
He doesn't want people to say he's heartbroken. Yes, a broken heart!
There is even a saying that says "better a toothache than a heartache!"
Uh! That's the wrong saying. Dinda strongly disagrees. According to him, toothache and heartache are both painful, and really unpleasant and uncomfortable. But if it hurts, the pain is really here.
