Chapter 52. Morning Road

Ezra stood under a large tree by the roadside, waiting for Dinda who was still unseen by him. Ezra was worried why the old Dinda didn't show up.

Dinda kept walking. Dinda did not shout out to Ezra to wait for him, because today he could not run. He didn't want Ezra to wait too long.

His swollen ankle is painful. Dinda paused for a while, shaking her ankle. Dinda thought, 'want to continue the way forward or just turn back?' While looking back and forth, it seemed that he had already reached the middle of the journey. Between turning back or continuing, both travel the same distance. 

Dinda decided to keep walking.

Moments later, Santi appears with Mantri Yos running off early in the morning together.

"Hi, Din, I'll go first?" Sapa Santi's.

Santi and Josh precede Dinda. A few meters ahead later, Santi and Yos meet Ezra under a large tree on the side of the road. Ezra was doing some kind of gymnastics.

"Hi Zra!" Say hello to Santi and Yos.

"Hi!" Ezra Sahut

"Oh yeah, Zra, behind is Dinda. He's on his way." Santi told Ezra.

Yos followed the gymnastics of Ezra. Santi also, while waiting for Dinda to arrive at their place.

Dinda has gone down the ramp. Breaths gnawing. From a distance Ezra saw Dinda wiping the sweat on her forehead with a small towel draped around her neck. Dinda walked leisurely, bowing her head, without having any guilt.

Dinda did not know that Ezra had been waiting for her.

"Dor!" Suddenly Ezra jumped right in front of Dinda who was walking down. 

So shocked, Dinda spontaneously retreated and fell in a sitting state. 

"Sir Ezra!" Dinda was shocked after looking up and seeing Ezra standing in front of her.

Initially Ezra who wanted to make a surprise for Dinda, it turns out that Ezra himself was also made shocked by the fall of Dinda.

"Ouch! sorry," said Ezra, scratching his non-itchy head.

"Oh, Din, what the hell, how did it fall?" Santi approached Dinda.

"Why is Ezra still here?" Ask Dinda.

"Let's stand!" Ezra reached out his hand to help Dinda wake up, without poking Dinda's question.

Dinda did not accept Ezra's hand.

"Thank you," after Dinda cleaned her dirty clothes, the four of them then continued walking.

"Not that Brother Ezra should have reached the dorm since then, huh?"

"You too, why didn't you run away?"

"So?" Dinda looked at Ezra.

"Yes! I'm waiting for you! Let's run now!"

"I can't run, brother. Brother Ezra if you want to run, just run first, not papa,"

Ezra and Josh who had gone astray would run away, undo it. Ezra looked up at Dinda.

"Why is that, Din?" 

"Yes, I can't run yet, brother," replied Dinda calmly.

Ezra felt Dinda was a bit strange. Ezra thought Dinda wanted to keep her distance. Questions raged on Ezra's head. Looking at Dinda's calm face, he did not dare to ask a single question. 

After walking a few meters, Dinda stopped again. He sat on a tree that collapsed on the side of the road. Ezra, who was standing a few meters away from him, only watched in silence.

Dinda took off her shoes and left sock. Look at her swollen and sore ankle. Sicker than ever. 

"Your feet are swollen?" Ezra approached to see his left leg swollen. Ezra squatted in front of Dinda. 

"Sorry, let me see your feet!" 

"Your leg is sprained, Din." Ezra felt guilty. He thought Dinda's leg was injured by the fall, a fall caused by him that made Dinda shocked.

Ezra packed Dinda's shoes and socks. Then Ezra squatted back to Dinda right in front of her.

"Get it!"

"What brother?"

"Please come up!" Pinta Ezra's.

"No way!"

"Minda! Hop on! Don't make your feet hurt!" Pinta Ezra once again.

"What the hell, Brother! I don't want to!" Dinda took her socks and shoes and put them back on. Then he stood up.

"I can still walk!" Dinda walked away from Ezra who was still squatting, he followed Santi and Yos who had walked a few meters in front of him.

Ezra could only shake his head while looking at Dinda from behind.

Although Ezra was worried about the state of Dinda's legs, he did not dare to force. He knows the limits. Even going to touch to check his legs alone, Ezra asked permission first.

By Allah, my life is in His power, and men and women are not alone except in the devil between them. Indeed, when a man is crammed with a pig covered in mud, it is better for the man than to nudge his shoulder on the shoulder of another woman who is not lawful to him.” (CHR. Thabrani)

Therefore, the Prophet of Allah shallallahu alaihi wasallam was very warning his people not to come into contact between men and women who are not mahram except through the way of marriage.

Like if you want to go through a door but have the potential to coincide with women, then it is better to find another door even though you have to coincide with a dirty pig.

For the collision with pigs will only produce feces that can be removed quickly by holiness, but the collision with women will give birth to sin and the desire to commit adultery.

Ezra stood up and walked after him. The four of them walked while occasionally humming.

Santi was walking beside Yos,

"Romantic." Dinda's spontaneous speech made Ezra who was walking beside her turn to her. Ezra's eyes seemed to question Dinda's words.

Without feeling the four of them had reached the entrance gate to the company location. 

"I go first!" Ezra turned to the right, heading to his dorm.

"Yoye, Zra." Answer Yos and Santi, then go to the gym.

Dinda walked quickly, wanting to leave Yos and Santi. 

"Din, not fitnes first?" 

"No, Ma'am. Kebelet, nih," Dinda walked quickly, wanting to quickly reach the princess dormitory.

"Ezra looks different, huh, earlier?" Ask Yos.

"What's different?"Santi did not understand Yos's intentions.
