BRIPDA MAHMUD'S 30-DAY GIRLFRIEND

BRIPDA MAHMUD'S 30-DAY GIRLFRIEND
Chapter 42. I'll Chalk You Up Soon

Andi looked at Mahmud's identity card on the table and said,

"This identity card is correct, Ms. Dinda. Commander Mahmud has never been married, has never had a wife,"

Dinda sees Mahmud and Andi alternating.

"But, that time …"

Andi interrupted Dinda's words.

"That's just commander Mahmud's wits. Actually, instead of wanting to hide his true identity, but that's the way he chose to look for someone who can be invited to share his likes and sorrows to live life without seeing status and position."

"And also Mbak Dinda never said he did not want to date. But where's the gini age?" Mahmud said with a serious face.

Dinda looked towards Mahmud.

"There was. Yes, just Sister Dinda. Because I want to be a mosquito repellent!" Sahut Andi ketus.

"Belgium!" Dinda.

"Hard-headed!"

"Barin, biarin!" Andi and Dinda argue with each other.

"Let's go, Ndi. Though stubborn like this, it remains beautiful. When crying alone still looks beautiful, really" said Mahmud geregetan.

"So how? What answer?" Mahmud asked softly by looking at Dinda.

Dinda glimpsed at Mahmud, and

"Ehmmmppp," Dinda was confused as to how to answer. Her face flushed. And it was so funny in Mahmud's eyes, that it made Mahmud hold a smile.

"We're made? Do you agree?" Ask Mahmud.

Dinda looked towards Mahmud. Mahmoud looked at him. Seen by Mahmud, in front of him there is a pair of clear eyes full of glowing flashes showing a sense of happiness and also shame.

Dinda herself did not understand what had happened to her. He feels defeated by his selfishness. Now his heart feels like a flower garden in bloom. Be happy! Not enough happiness is only expressed in the word happy!

Wanting to say 'no' for sure his heart will hurt because he felt self-denying.

"I'm not asking you to answer now, I'll wait for you."

Dinda looked at Mahmud for a bit and then turned her eyes elsewhere.

'Oh, why is it so tense, anyway?' Inner Dinda. He did not like this kind of atmosphere.

"It's late, I'm going home." Pamit Dinda then stood up.

"Wait a minute!" Prevent Mahmud.

Making Dinda look at him as if asking 'What's wrong?'

"Do you know the story of Adam and Eve?"

"Yes?" Linda sat down again.

"Adam felt lonely living alone in Heaven. So that when Adam slept, God took his ribs to the left, for Eve to be created, the beautiful woman who would become Adam's friend."

"It's not just a friend, it's a life partner." Sela Mahmoud's.

"Before becoming a life partner, Adam had to justify Eve first. Even before it was lawful, when Adam first saw Eve and approached about to touch her God forbade Adam."

Hearing Dinda's words, Mahmud was shocked, touched and felt guilty for his previous actions, which always spontaneously held Dinda's hand.

"I'll soon justify you." Mahmud said steadily, making Dinda look down and quiet.

"I'm sorry for my attitude!"

"Come, I'll drive you home!"

They left the clinic for the girls' dormitory. Dinda went straight up to the terrace and opened the door.

"Don't forget to take your medicine, so that your influenza is cured!" Said Mahmud who was still standing in the courtyard.

Dinda, who had reached the door, turned to Mahmud, saying "Thank you" with a smile.

In room.

"Listen someone just got shot, huh?" Said Ana who had fallen asleep in her bed.

Dinda who finished removing and folding her face, kept her face on a short table located between her bed and Ana's bed. Then he went up to his bed.

"Sound from whom?"

"From the swaying night grass, hee.hee…,"

"Where does it feel to be shot, Din? All my age I've never had a guy shoot me" continued Ana.

"Oh yeah?" Dinda turned to the right, towards Ana who was sleeping with eyes looking up at the ceiling of the room.

"Yes, Din. All this time I had a boyfriend because I was chasing them, how do I get it. So I've figured out how painful it would be if our feelings were rejected." Ana's tone sounded sad.

"But I'm sure, you didn't reject it, did you? If you refuse it, why try it, Din? Like earlier, you wanted durian, spontaneously the doi brought it for you. That's without you telling him, you know. That means there are signals connecting your telepathy, Din. Maybe you're his left rib" he's not, Din?"

"We agreed to go as before. Because I don't want to …." Dinda hasn't finished talking, Ana's straight on.

"You don't mean to date, Din! You're old-fashioned, Din! Nowadays, yes, if not dating will not sell, can not mate, Din. Do you want to be fooled? Now it's not the time of Siti Nurbaya, Din." Ana's words were fiery.

"Our religion will prohibit courtship, Ms. An." Answer Dinda slowly.

"Know, ah! You know, you know, you don't?" Ana becomes irritated to talk to Dinda who she thinks is a colossus.

"Prophet Adam just wanted to touch Eve, must be copied first, then may," Dinda continued to talk quietly.

"Adam is a Prophet, Din. We're we?"

Dinda answered quickly.

"We are human beings living in the last days. The end times are a crazy age! Men are in a race to seek and enjoy the beauty, wealth and worldly gratification that are in fact superficial and mortal, so that they are lulled and forget the coming of the day of vengeance and the day of doomsday! The end of time where all the people gather. From various sinners, murderers, adulterers, hypocrites, polytheists, gathered into one. Only those who repent and follow Allah's guidance will be saved and will be blessed!"

"Yes, ustadzah, I listened to your fatwa. Help me doain, yes, Din. So that I could guide," Ana, who had changed her position since then, slept on her left side, facing Dinda, listening to everything Dinda said. Ana became self-introspecting, and made her cry. Her tears melted down the pillow underneath.

"Yes, Sister Ana, as long as you don't get out of Islam, God willing, I always pray for you,"

"Yes, Din. Thank you," Ana began to stop her crying.

"Oh yes, Din, if you accept Commander Mahmud, what about Ezra who is still in service?"

"What do you mean, Ma'am An? I have nothing to do with Ezra."

"Ezra likes you a lot too. Don't you know, Din? Every time he comes home from service, he's always here to look for you, Ezra's a good guy, good-looking, but he's a little different, man,"

"Me and Ezra are friends, Ma'am. Not more,"

Dinda's reply ended the conversation that night.

Finally they fell asleep and lulled into their respective dreamland.

When the night gets dark, let your worries fade. Only a deep sleep can help you start tomorrow with full energy. Night is like a blanket of silence to warm the dark side of the cruel wheel of the world.
