Chapter 62. Sundays

"Hi, Mas!" The man who rebuked Ezra stopped.

"May I have a cigarette?" Ezra tried asking for a cigarette, and the man reached into his pocket and thrust out a pack of cigarettes that were still two sticks and left Ezra. 

Ezra was sitting on a wooden bench alone on his dorm porch, a cigarette he had placed next to him. At first he wanted to smoke to dispose of his tired thoughts, but now that he sat down, he did not touch the cigarette at all.

Haris came over to him, and immediately sat down beside him, a bit far away.

"Your cigarette, Zra?" Haris asked after seeing a pack of cigarettes beside Ezra.

"Heem," Ezra simply replied with deheman and took a quick look at Haris. Haris immediately took and opened the cigarette pack, pulled out one stick and ignited it.

Ezra suddenly felt eneg smell the smoke of his cigarette Haris. He got up from his seat and set his feet.

"Where are you going, Zra?" Haris asked while watching Ezra.

"Sleep." Ezra replied as he passed and left Haris.

Even in bed, Ezra could not sleep. He still went back and forth, and sometimes turned his face to the ceiling of the room.

Elsewhere, Mahmud, Andi and the rest of the security guards were still rolling guard at the guard posts and in places around the company site, until the event in the mixed-use building was completed.

Dinda squirms on her bed. After that he opened his eyes, wanting to sleep again but he no longer felt sleepy. Although he was awake, but still on the bed while waiting for the dawn. But, it has been a long time waiting for the voice of Adhan not to be heard. Dinda looked at the nightstand.

"Lho! How come?" Dinda saw the wicker on the nightstand.

"Fifth at five!" Dinda was shocked when she saw that the clock was already pointing at five o'clock.

"Don't you hear Adzan?" Ask in your heart while getting out of bed.

Looking to the side, Ana was still sleeping soundly under her blanket. 

Because the event in the multipurpose building is finished until late, making muezzin who usually adhan at dawn also wake up. No sound of Adhan.

Dinda went out of the room to go to the bathroom. There he meets Maya who just came out of the bathroom.

"You're awake, too, Din?" Ask Maya.

"Yes, Mother. I don't hear adzan." Answer Dinda.

"We pray for pilgrims, Din!"

"Yes, Mommy." Dinda immediately went into the bathroom, to clean up and ablaze at the outside faucet next to the bathroom. 

Maya walks to her room to pick up Mukena.

"Where do we pray?" Ask Dinda who came out of her room is complete and neat with mukena.

"In the living room, Din." Maya and Dinda head for the living room. They pray at dawn there.

Because Santi who roomed with Maya sleeps with a snoring sound, making Maya less concerned.

After the dawn prayer, Maya and Dinda read the Quran alternately until the time of shuruq came. After the sunnah shuruq prayer, Maya went into the room and did not come out again. While Dinda changed clothes and sports pants, he would take a morning walk around the complex.

"Yes! Together!" Shouted Anu who stood on the terrace of the clinic after finishing sweeping.

Dinda who walked to the front of the clinic turned to look for the existence of Anu who was protected by the leaves that grew in front of the clinic.

"Eh, Anu. Come on!" Dinda answered after seeing Anu.

Anu also came out from the terrace. They walk around the complex.

"Boy alone? Not as usual" said Anu.

"I mean lonely not because of that, Ndan," Anu said as he continued walking. The longer their path goes faster. Still got half a lap they've been sweating.

"Continue?" Dinda asked as she wiped the sweat off her face.

"Awhile the commander of Andi and commander Mahmud will be willing to apply, so quiet," Dinda turned to Anu who was walking to his right.

"There's still a substitute for later, Nu,"

"Know ah, my commander this one when invited to talk deflecting facts." Anu replied annoyed.

"Heee... heee..," responding to Anu Dinda's annoyance just chuckled.

They continued to walk quickly to get to the dormitory soon.

Mahmud and Andi will go to the kitchen for breakfast. When he got to the polyclinic, he saw Yos sitting behind his desk. He is serving some mothers who will inject kb.

"Hi, Tri!" Sapa Mahmud and Andi waved at Yos.

"Oh, yes, Ndan, go first!" Yos shouted from inside the clinic smiling in response to Mahmud and Andi's greeting.

Mahmud and Andi continued to walk, when they arrived in front of the princess dormitory, the front door was open, but it looked quiet like there were no inhabitants.

"Bring, Ndan. Where are they going?" Andi.

Mahmud did not respond to Andi, he just sniffed his shoulders, because he did not know.

Mahmud and Andi entered the kitchen through the back door. When entering the back kitchen which is usually crowded with people eating breakfast, this was quiet. There's only the kitchen mom and her crew.

"So quiet, Mom?" Ask Andi.

"Yes, sir, Sunday, right? So no one has come for breakfast yet" replied Ms. Jar.

After picking up a two-cup coffee, Mahmud and Andi sat in a chair by the door.

"Well, Police Officer, what's sitting here? The breakfast is already prepared up front, sir," Ms. Ratno said.

"Yes, Mom, in a minute. It's coffee first." Andi replied while showing her the coffee glass.

"Oh, yes sir. Please." Bu Ratno continued to leave the two policemen behind. Ms. Ratno paced back and forth to prepare breakfast to be brought to the front.

After the sunnah shuruq prayer, Maya went into the room and did not come out again. It turns out he went back to sleep. In the next room there was no sign of Ana waking up. Ana was still at home under her thick blanket.

At half-eight, the three residents of the princess dorm woke up almost simultaneously, so queued in front of the bathroom. Santi came in first. Maya and Ana sit face to face on the floor by bending both knees. Ana leaned her back while her eyes closed.

"Na, if you're still sleepy, go in your room there, get back to bed!" 

"Yes, May. I don't know how sleepy. But I'm gonna have breakfast first, and then I'm gonna go back to sleep. Ana answered with her eyes closed.

"Eh, May, remember Dinda's song with the group's vocals last night?" Ana enthusiastically asked immediately opened her eyes normally.

"In the dark, ... do not know how to proceed," Maya replied while remembering, but did not remember as well.

"You lie in eternal silence" Ana imitated the song last night.

"Heem," Maya cleared her throat.

"That means dead, doesn't it, May?" Ask Ana.

"In eternal solitude, it's a grave, Na." Maya Sahut.

"Assalamualaikum," Dinda went up on the porch and said hello.
