Boyfriend Lies

Boyfriend Lies
Unintroduced

Since last night, a usually bland cell phone suddenly went off continuously. Messages from Kak Bagas always appear, even though the topics we discuss are not included in the important and useful domains. Yes, we discussed the usual and in general. Just exchange words again what, have eaten or not, tomorrow want to go at what time, and so on.

It actually continued until the next day. This morning precisely in the dining room, I did not stop staring at the phone while waiting for Mami to finish preparing two breakfast supplies.

"He hasn't left yet, Ra?" ask Sonia. Maybe he was confused because we continued to communicate, even though time had shown at half-six in the morning.

"Udah" I replied without taking my eyes off.

"What else is that?" His head peeked at my phone screen.

"VC."

"Geez!" hysterical screams. "Lo bucen to his side? What is vc? Meet soon too."

"Because you just want to see the path that Bagas Bagas lewatin took."

Suddenly all the residents of the house gawked, looking at me in astonishment because I behaved beyond expectations. Sonia's sister who followed inexhaustibly immediately turned her eyes and continued to devour food.

"Why haven't we known ourselves, anyway, Ra?"

Mami's question draws Papi's attention from his rice plate.

"Isn't Dara still Arfan?"

"Ah, Papi is out of date," taunted Brother Sonia before me.

"Udah change, Pi. Arfan's gone to sea" said Mami.

"Well, the risk of working out of town. Youngest son change girlfriend, aja, papi until I don't know." Papi's face looked so disappointed as he said that.

Unfortunately, my attention is still on the phone screen. Kak Bagas has passed the gate of the Dago Asri Complex. Just take two more turns to get to my house.

"Mi, is it?" I was in a bit of a hurry, got up from the chair and immediately attached the bag on both shoulders.

"Udah, here! Love also makes Bagas." She pushed two plastic bags filled with sandwiches to the edge of the table.

"Lho, he said he had not been known to the family. How do you know her name?" papi protests.

"Mommy only knows his name is doang, Pi." I was quick to clarify for fear of social jealousy.

"If his face knew, wouldn't it?" Papi looked curious.

"Tau, Iah! Every morning people see it from here, really!" Mami pointed at the dining room window that could access the view of the garage.

"Ra, you're a sin, you know! Time to have a new girlfriend is not known to us!"

The curious flames in Papi's heart were growing more and more like it. I who was not ready to introduce Bagas to them could only say, "Later, yes! Later will also be known that Kak Bagas already really-gener persimmon same Dara."

"Well, she's lacking any persimmon, Ra?" spray Kak Sonia who did not receive any time delay to introduce Kak Bagas to them. "He picks you up every day. Pake willing to leave his motorbike here."

Sonia's sister said that because she didn't know anything behind our relationship. Everything would be different if they knew about this. "Just wait for the right time, just. Dara will also know it, really."

......***......

Because of Brother Sonia, my thoughts during the trip became erratic. I kept thinking about the word persimmon that had been described by him. There's a point, too, anyway. Less persimmon what try Bagas? My favorite motorbike was willing to be abandoned because I did not want to go to school using a moge. He also introduced me to Mom and Baim. Why don't I introduce him to Mami and Papi?

So busy thinking about that, I forgot to invite Kak Bagas to chat. Letting him focus alone on carrying a motorcycle, until it did not feel we had arrived at the school parking lot. It still looks lonely because we got here at 06:00.

"Dad!" Brother Bagas is advancing his head. As usual, she must have asked me to comb her hair with fingers after she had slipped out of the helmet. "What's less handsome, huh?"

"Huh?" Such random and sudden questions, obviously made my forehead frown deeply.

"What's less charming, huh?"

Again he threw a question that I did not understand his direction. "What does this mean, anyway?"

"Yes, my prankster brother. After that, Adek kayak did not dare, so, recognize my brother to Papi Sama Mami."

Successfully my eyes wink in disbelief. So, he wants me to introduce you too? Lah, why not say?

"That's no shame, is it, Dek?" His face is getting bigger. He's getting more interesting when he's sulking like that. His face looks like Baim.

"No!" I'm trying to explain. "Adek really wants to, kok, recognize Abang. Just ...."

"What's free?" tanyanya fast.

"Lah, my brother knows Adek to the same mother Baim. That's my brother giving me the tau code, Dek. Brother wants Adek to admit the same thing."

"Yes, my brother didn't say it was a code" I replied as smoothly as the toll road.

"Yes, code time has to say it first. Not the code or the name, the announcement!" the dumel looks even more awkward.

"Keep why every change Abang motorbike always nanya, Mami is in the dalem? Mommy's gone, Deck? It's like you, uh, are afraid to meet Mami." I showed her a panicked face when I was about to switch bikes after school.

"That's not what it means, honey!" Brother Bagas is like holding back an anxiety. "The reason is so because you don't have any preparation."

"What preparation?" It's like the ceremony just needs preparation.

"Prepare to meet Mami, is it! Yeah, time doesn't bring anything."

I patted the eel, only to know that Bagas Brother was crying out for mercy. "If you want to come, yes, stay come, Bang! No need to bother carrying a sesajen."

"That could be it, Dek! Adek, right, once brought Arfan home. What if your first impression is worse than Arfan? At least if you bring martabak, Mami becomes smitten, that's it."

Oh, geez. Never mind, just say it out of fear of being rivaled by people in my past. The grub explains it too.

"Oh, yes. Today I'm a tatib!" He began to hold my hand, inviting me to end the debate about meeting Mami and Papi.

"Yes." Yeah." I still remember the schedule. Two weeks became the matrices and the next two weeks became the leaders of the ceremony.

"Later brother will stand behind Adek." Information again.

"Oh, huh? Not last week Abang so the matibate in class XII, huh? Why did you choose class X?"

"intentionally. Take care of your favorite girl, afraid of being taken by the ex!"

......***......

I just understood what Bagas said after the incident happened. Strange events that are not as usual. Only this time Kak Bagas and Arfan stood side by side to be a tatib, in the same land. They made a deal or what, anyway? Tumben once saw two people who used to stand guard in the upperclassman area, so stand guard behind the underclassmen.

"What's going on here?"

Secretly my ears caught the whisper of Brother Bagas' voice. He asked Arfan.

"Service, Boss!" Sufficient answer to silence his interlocutor. "Lo himself ... what's here?"

"Gue's? Keep possession."

Unconsciously my head turned and met with the one who had just spoken. He blinked one eye while incising a charming smile. Ah, nevermind! Unguarded, I must have stayed on the same path. Choosing Kak Bagas.

"Chairman, but not professional," said the man standing to his left.

"Sori, Ngab! I'm professional. Before, I had permission for the men to keep it here and they agreed. I'm being honest, too, by the way. As if I'm not a hypocrite like lo who made the word duty to sedain girls people."

It sounded long, but I was quite satisfied. Brother Bagas slapped Arfan in the face with a single greeting.

"Lo sure, she's a lo girl?" Arfan sounds demeaning.

"Related, lah! The proof is we're already."

Ah, I hope that Bagas does not want to bring a courtship contract.

"If in the end my temptation succeeds in making him turn away, how?"

The most absurd question I hear. My ears suddenly felt itchy and heated. Not wanting him to puff up his chest, I quickly turned my gaze toward the back. "Eh, sorry-sorry, here! Want to be seduced to prostrate at the feet too I will not turn away! Don't forget my strong heart, just like your wishy heart!"

Getting such unexpected treatment, Arfan immediately shut up. His eyes turned sharp. That expression clearly showed that he had already lost to us.

"Steers, Boss! You got the wrong girl!" Bagas held back a laugh while glancing at his opponent.

"Don't be proud!" hold Arfan with bulging eyes. "Gue has a thousand ways to attract Dara's attention. Pair the horses, aja! Afraid of karma!"

"Well, aren't you karmic anymore?" Bagas won again. "Who did you let go of him?"

"Gue is not a freelancer," his rebuttal was stern. "Gue only covered for a moment, but Dara's place came home."
