Boyfriend Lies

Boyfriend Lies
Prejudice of the Pari Fish

He heeded my desire to drive on a motor matic. The big motorbike that is predicted as his favorite motorbike is willing to be stored in the garage.

Twenty minutes drive and we've reached the crossroads. It takes about five meters to get to school. Comfort on Saturday, the streets were quiet and soothing to the eyes.

We arrived at the parking lot which is still fairly quiet, there are only three motorcycles that have been lined up neatly there. Bagas is so trained to park my bike next to another bike. I who came down first, gradually took off the helmet and hugged it in the stomach.

"Bang, there's a toast from Mami. Want to eat it yourself?"

Different people have different habits, right? I'm afraid Bagas has friends so he wants to have breakfast with them. If indeed Arfan's change happened because I always followed him, then I wouldn't do the same to Bagas.

"Where do we usually eat?" He had finished taking off the helmet, styling his hair while looking in the mirror, then hooking the helmet strap on the rearview mirror rod. "Here's Adek's helmet." His hands open, ready to receive my helmet.

I handed over the helmet before taking out two plastic bags filled with toast from the backpack. "She usually eats in the backyard, anyway, but not there!" I was lazy to come there again. That place is, right, identical to the former.

"Well, where do you want to eat?" ask her with a confused face.

Look at the handsome face of Kak Bagas, yes, especially if you are confused and curious. I couldn't see her frown that was wrinkled because of her haircut. However, I could tell the forehead was frowning because his eyebrows on the right-left looked intertwined.

"Whatever, anyway, anyway." I was also confused about the place.

"You're on the roof again?" her quick bargain I agreed with a steady nod.

......***......

"Dec, if you come to the OSIS room sitting in the back, yes!" The order I received while eating Mami's toast.

"Why, then?" I wiped the chocolate jam on the lip with a piece of tissue.

"Sit down, aja, right there. Let's do a lot of things" he answered with mystery.

"What the hell?" I'm getting suspicious.

"Just sit down, just there, yeah!"

...***...

After eating breakfast, I went down first because Kak Bagas wanted to tidy up his former meal alone. During the journey to class, my steps seemed to be observed by many people. They unceasingly threw a cynical look with an understated smile as if this self was part of the trash of society.

Approaching the classroom, I saw three friends sitting in a circle while eating some fried food. "Geng, see Riska?" My pleasantries asked. Actually, I'm not good at this, but considering they're classmates, it's good to get to know each other better, right?

"In class," replied Amel without looking at me, even though I had taken a squatting position.

"Ra, what a coincidence. I want it, nih!"

I changed position to sit and ready to listen to Emil's question.

"It's me just nanya, aja, yes," he said while splitting the spicy gehu into two parts. "Lo likes to shove, huh?"

"Huh?" I can't stand to scream. What the hell is he talking about, anyway?

"We all know, that is, if you have not been chosen with Arfan, but what should be with all of him?" Emil is talking louder.

"Yes, you're so bad, Ra. Pake ngaku-ngaku dating Kak Bagas. The Raharja that you tagged was the Chairman of OSIS, right?"

"Lho, I don't want to!" I'm defending Maya's statement.

"Ketos equivalent period only follows your account, doang. Not possible, is! You must have deliberately created your own account, given the name Bagas continue to tag the account so that Kak Arfan and Kak Cecil are jealous, right?"

"Geez!" I'm starting to be angry. "There's nothing like my job, that's it. Why am I telling you, we're actually dating, and one more thing, yeah! Arfan, tuh, ex and I are not anyone's choice," I explained with a breath of excitement.

"If you don't do anything, evadain, dong, same us!"

"What proof?" I stared ready to challenge. "Evidence that Bagas really is my girlfriend?"

"Yes, Iah!" sahut Maya puffed more chest.

"okay." I've already decided. I will speed up the publication of this relationship so that it is not considered crazy and shameful by them.

......***......

I watched Riska pack up. Eagerly his hands put books and stationery into a backpack. He was like that because he wanted to immediately attend the recruitment event of the members of OSIS.

"Come on, dong, Bu Ketu! Even diem mulu," grumbled Riska while pulling my arm so as to quickly pack the goods.

"His father also told me to sit in the back." He hasn't been told about this.

I don't agree with this. "Believe me, same with me! The back seat will be empty to jump."

My words were proven when we lined up the registration form. The window that showed the front row seats was already fully filled. It's a wonder, but OSIS. Unlike the lesson hours, I'm sure the organization gathering will not be much of a question, so the guts to sit in front of it are even greater.

It was still blocked by three people until we received the paper. Riska who had been crying, ended up whispering something. "Looky Bebeb Dara."

"What, anyway?" I became amused myself to hear his nickname against Bagas. Instead of animals, he nicknamed the man as Bebeb Dara.

"Don't let him go, Ra!" This time he sounded panicked.

"Yes, the chairman's time is not coming. Shame on members." The motor key is on me anyway. He'll come unless he comes home first.

"Eh, Dara! Got the balls to follow OSIS."

The sound drew our attention to look. My breaths snorting. Again, I met a flock of stingrays. As if to charge me this morning, they chose to march behind Riska.

"Yes, Dara must have the guts! He's, right, wrong for nothing." Riska, who was talking about her chat, recalled that during the break she heard my story about the squat camp this morning.

"Oh, is that it, huh?" Emil stared fiercely. "His shame was left at home, huh, Ra?"

"Well, why should I be ashamed?" I can't help myself not going berserk.

"Yes, right, you know I'm Kak Bagas' girlfriend."

Riska laughed when she heard it. "You understand, Ra. They don't believe." His arm was embracing my shoulder, gesturing for me to react arrogantly as soon as possible.

I want to reply too. Unfortunately, the evidence I had in my pocket wasn't enough to make them believe. Rather than end up being humiliated, I would rather pull Riska because the queue had already diminished.

Those of us who weren't after the front seat, were grateful. The back seat was filled with no one. "There, yuk!" ask me because Riska is constantly looking at herds of stingrays.

"Why don't you volunteer, anyway?" he snapped as he followed me sitting in the right corner.

"There's gonna be time, Ris." That's all I can use as an excuse to calm him down. "Udah, please fill out the form first."

Riska according, no longer mind the speech of the stingray herd. Thank goodness they chose to sit across. At least, my ears will feel safe even for a little while.

"Test ...test ...." The voice of the person operating the microphone in front of the classroom is very thick in memory. My head was vertical from a piece of paper to confirm his figure. Hah, of course my prediction is right! Three years of walking together is not a short time. It was only natural that I still remembered his shadow, his figure from a distance, and his warm low voice.

Unfortunately, that figure is not mine anymore. The girl named Cecilia who was so smiling stood beside him. I don't understand, why do they have to show this kind of affection? Fortunately, I was in the back row. So, the fan who was busy cheering the couple was unaware of my presence.

"Good day everyone!" greet Arfan with a smile. She looked at the back row unintentionally so she sat down with me.

Silence, as a result of him no longer speaking. The effect caught everyone's attention. They looked back and found me who was trying to sit upright like she was unaffected by anything.

Riska who followed stared, pinching slowly next to my arm. "Look back, Beb!" whispered.

Instead of looking back, I turned to him. His eyes flickered indistinctly as if they were giving me a signal. "What?" I said without a sound.

He didn't reply, just pointed his index finger back. My forehead wrinkled. He means it's the back of my body, right?

Not wanting to be overwhelmed with curiosity, I looked back at my body. Not sorry I followed Riska's whisper because I found an element of eye comfort that had just entered the room. Bagas came with a friend I didn't know.

"Pak Ketu, can I start the show?" ask someone from the microphone I managed to ignore.

My head is still looking at the opposite source of the voice. He who had closed the door gradually turned around, nodding his head to his colleague to start the recruitment event. His steps were opposite from the friend earlier. Instead of walking to sit on the throne, he walked towards me, then stood right behind me and Riska.

"Please, sir, the chair is already in place" Arfan said from behind the microphone.

"I'm here, aja!"

My eyes blinked, not expecting him to behave like this, in public anyway. Bagas is getting closer. His gaze focused forward, but his hand reached for my hair.

"Look ahead" he whispered, who was able to be caught by everyone because the situation was still in silence. A little nervous, I followed and stopped looking back. As if not enough to show it in front of everyone, Bagas bowed his body and kept his chin at the top of my head.

"Thank you, yeah!" he said that he was again under the spotlight from all parties including Arfan and Cecilia.

"meaning?" I longed to look back, but both of his hands had caught my cheeks, holding me back from turning my eyes.

"Thank you for sitting in the back."
