Almost a full day Zahra chose to be silent. He works without talking to anyone. The contents of her head were already filled with anger and hatred for Aidin and the woman who was with her husband. He also tends to be aloof rather than having to join the others.
As if the problems faced were endless. The alternation continues to accompany each day which makes Zahra must be as strong as steel.
"Aren't you coming home, Za?" kirana who suddenly stood behind Zahra. I don't know when the woman came, Zahra didn't even notice.
Zahra wiped her tears then forcefully smiled looking at the clock that was coiling in her hand. It was already five minutes late from the allotted time.
"I think we haven't been around for a long time" Zahra said, embracing Kirana's shoulder. They went into the room and took each other's bags.
Kirana and Zahra sit in line at a tourist spot in the city center. Enjoy the beautiful sky that almost sank while waiting for Maghrib time. After seeing the photo earlier, he was reluctant to meet with Aidin.
"You got a problem, what?" Kirana pats Zahra on the shoulder. "Is Aidin still being rude again?"
I can't tell Kirana, it's a disgrace to Aidin that I must cover.
"Now, lately Aidin is good, he cares for me, also often remind me to always take medicine."
Despite trying to convince her, Kirana still does not believe Zahra's words.
"Then why are you silent all day?" ask Kirana again.
"No papa, I don't want to talk anymore."
Kirana's not a fool. He knows between people who have problems and not, and behind Zahra's attitude must save problems, but sometimes not everyone has the right to know what happened to him.
The sun was completely sunk, yet Zahra still did not want to go home. He chose to sit on the porch of the mosque after carrying out his duties.
Kirana who had just finished following and sat beside the friend who seemed to be contemplating. The two stared at the star that was shining between the darkness.
"Actually you and Aidin have a problem what? Who knows if I have a solution?" ask Kirana for the umpteenth time.
"If you don't want to go home, just sleep in my house" Kirana asked.
Zahra nodded heavily. "It's only six o'clock, normally Aidin has not come home, and I'm lazy at home alone."
Again Zahra was reluctant to tell her what was sitting on her chest at this time.
"But it's night, we have to go home."
Forced Zahra to move on, he does not want to make Kirana increasingly suspicious of his relationship and Aidin who continues to be plagued by chaos.
As I said, the house is still dark. Only the streetlights turn on automatically, which means Aidin has not returned home. He walked slowly into the house and turned on all the lights. Mama Delia's words continued to ring out making her even more anxious.
Zahra went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Although often not eaten by Aidin, he wanted to keep serving it.
Zahra's phone rang to stop her activity. The woman turned off the stove, running small towards the middle room to pick up her flat object.
"Mama Lillian."
It turned out to be her mother-in-law.
"Assynolt, Ma. Tumben mama's phone?" greet Zahra friendly.
"Just want to tell you, next week sister Keysa wants to celebrate her birthday in a big way all thanks to her pregnancy, you come yes," pinta Mama Lilian expectantly.
"Yes, Ma. I'll tell Aidin."
"Well, aren't you home yet?"
"Not yet, Ma," Zahra replied as she checked the room again, fearing that she would not see her husband.
Mama Lilian just beards and then disconnects.
After talking to Zahra, Mama Lilian approached Herman who was in the living room.
"Pa, is Aidin overtime? Why hasn't he come home yet?" ask Mama Lilian to her husband.
"Nobody's overtime. Maybe Aidin hasn't arrived yet. Last afternoon I saw he was out of the office."
The house is far from the office. The man deliberately bought a house far from the residence of his parents, so that they are not suspicious of his ulterior intentions since marriage.
"It's been almost a year that they've been married, but Zahra hasn't gotten pregnant yet, did we ask them to join the pregnancy program."
Mr. Herman opened his glasses. He patted the chair beside him which was still empty.
"Life of Zahra is nineteen years old, Ma. Let them have fun enjoying the wedding, papa won't force our daughter-in-law's will."
Ms. Lilian chose silence, denying it was free if her husband had spoken like that.
Tin
The sound of the horn echoed.
Zahra who had just prepared the food immediately opened the front door. Wrap up her sadness with a sweet smile.
"Would you eat first or take a shower?" zahra asked following Aidin's steps from behind.
"Eat first." Throw her bag towards the sofa. After that, walk to the dining room.
There is nothing strange about an Aidin. The man looked tired, his face was tangled with slightly contorted eyes. With no words coming out of his lips, Aidin enjoyed the food that Zahra cooked without protest.
"So mama called." Zahra's words stopped Aidin who was about to bribe the rice into his mouth.
"Mama said that next week there's an event at Keysa's sister's house. We were told to come."
"You didn't say anything, did you?" tanya Aidin. Glanced at Zahra at a glance and then refocused on her food.
"No" replied Zahra briefly. He did not want to discuss anything at this time and chose to make peace with the situation.
At least never thought to complain to others about their harmonious household. And for Zahra it was a test he had to undergo.
There was a cell phone ringing from the pocket of Aidin's pants. The man immediately looked at her and stared at her screen. A smile widened from the corner of his lips as he read the incoming message.
After which, Aidin typed something and placed his flat object on the table.
Shortly after, Aidin left the dining room without finishing his meal. The man went into the room. Zahra cleaned the dishes they had eaten.
Zahra chose to sleep in the back room, afraid to disturb Aidin. Just a few minutes closed his eyes, the sound of Aidin's laughter made him wake up again.
Zahra peeked at her husband who was in the living room while talking to his cell phone. I don't know who, and what he was talking about, the man looked happy and kept smiling.
A few minutes later, Aidin came out of the house.
Zahra remembered the words of aunt Delia who told him to investigate Aidin, without thinking long he also came out of the house. Hoping tonight would get a bright spot with what was clinging to her heart.
I hope my mother's guess is wrong.
