Richard and Aidin were silent. They'll just talk about work. The rest are silent with their own minds. Vengeance has not ended. Aidin was still upset with his secretary's actions. And vice versa. They no one gave up.
Tonight was a special night, where Delia invited Richard to dinner with the rest of the extended family. Not to forget, Adinata also came to meet the invitation of his ex-wife.
Delia deliberately held the event at the restaurant, fearing Adinata and his wife would not come.
Adinata sat with her family. Zahra is in the middle of the Aidin family. Darren and Keysa also came because of the insistence of his mother. James was with Hanif and the others. Kirana and Iqbal were in attendance.
"This is to celebrate what, Ma?" zahra asked in the midst of their conversation.
"To celebrate our union. Our family broke apart because it shared a slapping problem, and now mama is grateful we can all get together again."
Zahra hugged the mother, she was moved by the goodwill.
"From today on, we are a family. Hand in hand.facing problems together. No one can be selfish and win by themselves." Glanced at Richard and Aidin. Zahra knew they were still hostile to each other.
Aidin who felt insinuated instead of apologizing or improving his relationship with Richard, the man pretended to be busy with his food, even ignoring Zea who was in Lilian's lap.
"So does anyone feel enemies?" sahut James's.
Richard lowered his head. Not daring to admit that he and Aidin are in trouble.
"If no one ever ngaku. Tonight someone will sleep __"
"Me and Richard." Aidin cut off the wife's words that sounded like a threat. He already knew the continuation of the speech, so it was enough and did not need to continue anymore.
Zahra's words were scarier than anything until Aidin put aside the ego. He gave up and confessed in front of everyone.
Even so, Richard who first approached his Boss and apologized. The two hugged in front of the entire family.
"Don't repeat it again. If that happens, I'll make sure you don't get a job" Aidin whispered seriously.
"Okay, sir," Richard answered kindly.
The atmosphere is warm again. They seemed to enjoy the food in front of each.
"The next month Hanif and Evana are married, followed by Iqbal and Kirana. When are you, Chard?" tanya Delia melted the atmosphere. Because, among the invited guests only the man who does not have a partner.
Richard choked on the food that almost went into the esophagus. The question is like a betmen trap that cannot be answered.
He was silent, between shame and doubt with the answer that would be aired.
"I __" Richard hung up his words, as if something was holding his voice back from sliding.
"What if I match Rima?" adinata Sahut.
Richard's got every woman in that place. It seems he is still confused with the girl called his father Zahra.
A beautiful girl sitting next to Zahra blushed in embarrassment. The girl who was just the third semester also looked calm with her father's words.
Delia smiled. She looked at her ex-husband's daughter.
Beautiful, even her eyes are similar to Zahra's eyes.
"This is called Rima." Aidin pointed at his sister-in-law from the side.
Pyars
Suddenly, the glass in Cherly's hand fell to the surprise of everyone, including Richard, who was sitting next to her.
"Aren't you papa?" asked Richard worried.
Cherly leaned over to hide her eyes that were already filled with clear liquid. His hand held out to pick up the broken glass.
Again, the ringing made everyone panic.
He immediately squatted down and smacked the blood coming out of Cherly's finger.
"No pap, Pa." Cherly replied with trembling lips.
Richard who was near Cherly's face could hear the sound of a small stuffing held back. He looked up, looking at the girl's cheeks that were filled with tears.
"Father, it's just a small wound, really," Richard said calmly.
Cherly is back to sitting as before. So do the others.
"Cherly is a crybaby. He can't stand the pain" Delia concluded. Help Richard bandage Cherly's wounds with plaster.
"How, Chard? Do you agree that I'll make a match with Rima?" Adinata again discussed the matter of the match earlier.
Richard smiled in a friendly manner. As an adult man, he did not want to play anymore and wanted to immediately anchor his heart to the woman who really loved him.
Something weird about Cherly?
Only Aidin could catch the mess on his sister's face. However, he could not do anything, because Rima was his sister, and he did not want them to be hurt.
"I'm not forcing you to love Rima now, but I'm allowing you to get closer. Who knows a soul mate."
The door is wide open. Adinata is not a random person, she is Zahra's parents and also the in-laws of her boss. He may refuse before starting.
"Thank you for the permission, Om. I'll think about this again."
Cherly grabbed the bag and moved. He no longer tastes to eat. Feeling uncomfortable listening to their chatter that makes his chest tight.
"I want to go home, Ma" said Cherly.
Delia nodded in agreement and then paid her respects to everyone. Kiss Zea before you leave.
Aidin waved his hand towards Richard. "You take Mama home, let papa James be with Brother Hanif."
Richard hurried over to Delia and Cherly.
In the car
Unlike usual who asked a lot, this time Cherly tends to be silent and staring outwards. Delia was busy with her phone in her hand. Sometimes Richard stole a glance through the rearview mirror. He had no idea what the girl was thinking.
Actually he's why, asked Richard inwardly.
"How, Chard? Do you like Rima?" Delia broke the silence.
Richard took a long breath.
"Not yet, Auntie. But I will try, hopefully, a mate" replied Richard.
She glanced back at Cherly, who was hiding her face.
"If according to aunty, it seems like Rima is good, her son is calm. Not much different from Zahra."
"Yes, Aunt." Richard answered briefly.
Upon arrival, Richard pulled Cherly's hijab from behind which made the master turn his head.
Delia went in first leaving the two of them. He was not so worried because outside there were guards monitoring their movements.
"You why the hell? Tumben was silent," asked Richard seriously.
"I'm tired, brother." Cherly said lazily. "I want to go in" she said again and left Richard still hoping for an answer.
What's with him, can't it just be because of that little wound that he's quiet like this?
Richard got back in the car. Actually there is still something to ask Cherly, but it seems that the girl's mood is bad and does not want to be disturbed.
