The Still Lisa POV.
At first, we ate in a conducive atmosphere. But suddenly Tika blabbed, asking Max all kinds of things. Starting from the best universities, the most in-demand college majors, jobs that deserve him later and many other things. Max finally had to reprimand his sister.
"“Udah eat first! Later on chat, I so can not enjoy my own food.” Max began to protest, making Tika cluck annoyed while sneering at her brother.
I just watched them both. Observe the way the two interact and then listen to all the chatter they are talking about. From the beginning until now.
That's how I am. I was quieter to listen to them, and I knew myself. Although there's a chance Max might think of me as his sister, but that doesn't change what my brain has.
I really admire everything and anything that sticks to his body. He looks perfect as a man. Even he's like a hero to Tika—to me. Because I know, when I lost both my parents, he was the first one to let me continue to go to school until now. He asked my aunt Ida to pass on my tuition.
Yes, I remember that incident.
Exactly a week after my parents left. Their families are still gathered in my house. Until one night, as I was about to go to the kitchen, I heard them talking to Reza in the backyard.
“Udahlah, Mah, right before Rizal and his wife went to the Maldives, Mamah had promised they made Lisa's care. If it is gini, Mamah must keep the promise of Mamah dong." Max says a covenant in which all of that must instantly happen.
“Nothing, Mom. Let Lisa's school fees be my dependents. After all, I've been very grateful to still be allowed to continue working. In fact I was given a ride in the department.” Om Reza spoke at the time.
I heard clearly all the chatter of the three of them. Moreover, when I heard that my school fees were not cheap, because I was a school with Tika. I was shocked to hear the news, I could not believe the situation at the time. And because of the words of Max, Aunt Ida finally agreed to be my guardian at school and be responsible for all the costs that will be incurred later.
“Lis? Lisa?!” reprimanding Tika who then nudged my arm. I was shocked as soon as my consciousness gathered again and turned to him. Answer it with a dehumidification. “Gua earlier, the potato can dong be shared?”
I gawked at Tika's question which ... is actually not very important, but it might be important to her right now. I smiled and handed him my dinner plate so he could pluck the fries he wanted.
I don't know why I felt Max ate so fast, because my food and Tika was not finished, but he had managed to finish the food he ordered, even the plate looks neat, I mean clean.
“You guys eat it easy, I want to smoke first,” said Max then stood up, stepped towards the hand wash. Then we went back through our table and came out to light his cigarette.
Quietly, my eyes continued to look at the man. His stout body, his fielded chest, the neck of his proportional neck and his thick lips made me have to painstakingly swallow my saliva. What a dream man.
It felt unwilling that my eyes should blink at this moment, losing a few seconds of motion from him. Observe how to smoke the cigarette, then exhale the smoke. With his chuckle Max played the rectangular thin object he was now staring at. It felt like my heart and brain were ceaselessly adoring him, always fascinated.
“Heh! You pay attention to the cave brother, huh?” reprimanding Tika suddenly, I was strangled and then became the wrong behavior made. As a result, my tongue made me faint to speak, while Tika continued to tease me guessing what I was doing and connect him with his dashing brother. Yes really, I admit it. But no, Tika must not know if I admire her brother's figure. Nay!
I forcefully forced my tongue and mouth to speak. “Aaan anyway? No, that guy just happened to look out.” I'm evasive, but avoid it's not too perfect.
While Tika seemed to not want to hear any reason, she just kept teasing me, nudging my arms while saying 'ciee' cheers'.
“Ah, you mah alesan mulu! Tell me you like the cave brother. Let ntar cave bantuin,” bargain Tika to me.
