The story of Lisa 4

Tika POVs.

I deliberately asked about the woman who was engrossed in chatting with Max, so that Lisa could hear the answer from Max directly. So that the mood back cheerful again, not like before. But to be honest, this really makes me curious, why would Lisa like Max? What is so special about Max?

I silently watched the two of them from my position sitting alternately. Then suddenly an idea came back, a mischievous idea for Lisa. I immediately typed something into a short message, which I addressed to someone. Yes, a man who was approaching me and had already refused his love.

Actually I called him on purpose, all of you want to know, does this guy still want to be friends with me after I refuse him? I don't know, we'll see. If this guy replies to my chat, it means he still wants to be close to the woman who has rejected him.

I didn't reject it for no reason, only I was afraid, if I had to accept it then fell in love. While I have been determined to get out of this city and study in Malang. Do you have to be a long distance relationship? No! I don't want that.

I've sent some messages to the man as an opening, the beginning of the conversation in the chat. Then I pressed the screen lock button on my phone and started to carry out my plan.

"Max! We go to the mall first yuks. I want to buy a hairpin," I whine while shaking his shoulder. He was surprised by my attack and then pissed. I know Max wouldn't be mad or yelling at me if someone else was with us.

Max simply answered my call by nodding his head. Then immediately turn the direction of the destination of the car heading to the city center. And I sat back in a relaxed manner while raising my gaze to look at the side of the street.

Upon arrival Max's car turns, enters the parking area of a large mall and parks it into the indoor courtyard. Then we entered the mall together, of course I took Lisa's hand. Then Max followed our steps behind, like a bodyguard.

We stepped into a store that sold all the trinkets about women. But suddenly Max said he would wait outside the store, because he was embarrassed to come in and accompany us around in circles.

"Trus money?" I said spoiled while holding my hands in front of his face. Max rolled both his eyes. "And I don't have a wallet" I said.

Instead of giving me some money, Max gave me his wallet and told me not to buy anything unimportant. Glad I grabbed that double-leather-coated thing. Then go inside the store while pulling Lisa's arm.

I went straight to the hairpin and pickled there while Lisa somehow walked to where in the store. After getting what I wanted and without glancing elsewhere, I immediately walked towards the cashier and queued there.

But suddenly my phone rang, a notification from a short message. I immediately glanced at the cellphone screen that I was holding. It turned out to be a short reply from the man I had sent a message to. He asked me where I was now. Quickly my thumb pressed a few buttons on the flat thin object screen and then pressed the send sign there.

Not long after, my phone went off.

🎶

So I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you

And I'm gonna hold you like I'm saying goodbye

Wherever we're standing

I won't take you for granted

'Cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time

🎶

But this time it wasn't a notification sign but a phone call. I saw the man's name appear on my phone screen along with the profile picture of his face. I was surprised, then immediately I swiped the green mark on the screen to receive the phone call. And put that thing in my ear.

"Hallo?" I said casually but hesitated a little. I didn't expect him to call because I had already answered his message very clearly.

Once again, the man asked me where I was being answered honestly, that I was in the mall and he accepted my request for a reason. And I also accepted his request. I'm saying thank you.

"Well, bye!" I disconnected our phone by sliding the red button on the screen. Then a moment later Lisa came to me with some things she bought.

"Who?" Lisa asked who just called me while looking at the phone I was holding. I just answered him with a headband and smiled faintly. Then we continued the queue process until finally it was our turn.

"So one, Ma'am!" I said to the woman sitting behind the counter with a machine in front of her. Then glared at Lisa who was about to protest my words to make him undo his intention to refute my wishes.

I took some money from Max's wallet and gave it to the woman in front of me as a means of payment for the goods we bought. After that Lisa received our paper package while I was busy putting her change into Max's wallet again. Then we stepped together out of the store.

My eyes rolled in all directions to look for my sister until Lisa suddenly clapped my hand, I turned to him and found him looking one way while shaking his mouth as a means of pointing. I followed the direction he was referring to and saw the figure of Max who was in a store filled with sports equipment.

"Now, I'm thirsty. Why?" I asked again when we met Max and returned his wallet. Max grabbed it and put it in his pants pocket on the back. He accepted my request to buy a drink but after he finished accompanying him took a look at the store.

We deliberately chose a table in the corner of the cafe and in the smoking area, so that Max could freely and at any time light his cigarette. For a few moments we talked. Max asked us what we bought at the store. But just as Lisa was about to show it, all of a sudden my phone rang again, making me surprised.

I asked the two of them for permission to take the phone call and then stood up, slightly away from where they were sitting. "Yes? Caves in Setarbak. You don't have to park, just park. Ntar so in front of the horn alone, samperin cave." After hearing the answer from across the street, I immediately disconnected the phone and turned around.

Bruk!

"Who just now?!" tanyakanya. It was this question that made my heart suddenly thump. Because this is my real plan. Leaving Max alone with Lisa while their drinks were still full. So they have both time. While allowing Lisa to be more free if you want to chat with Max.

It's not that I agree if Lisa likes Max and not that I disagree. I just want to give the first way to the two of them. Because in the end one of them will definitely tell the story later when I leave them both. And as far as I know, they're both empty.

"I just wanted to have a promise with me. He's downstairs, I nitip Lisa huh? It's okay, isn't it?" I gripped Max's arm tightly and he just shrugged his shoulders.

I asked her permission, which she finally allowed but after I asked Lisa for permission to leave. I immediately ran over to Lisa. Then tell him if I forget a promise with someone, even though it's just my wits.

"Yes sorry?" whinek me while giving a look of my face, so that he will allow me to leave.

"Who's the same cave crusade here? That's a lot of drinks too, look at it," he said half in panic.

Titt ...

Titt ...

The horn of a car I knew was in front of us, not far from where we were sitting. I stood up immediately and waved my hand. "Calm down, you're not alone! That's Max again buying bagels. Trus that nitip cave clasp huh! Hye!" I immediately put my right and left cheeks on both sides of her cheeks and waved at Max who was in there waiting to buy a snack.

I ran to the car that sounded the horn to me. Yes, I recognized the car and immediately opened the door and sat in the front seat of the passenger section. And smiled at the man behind the steering wheel. Then the man immediately set foot on the accelerator pedal to immediately drive his car out of the mall building and back to the highway.

There wasn't much we both did along the way. Just equally swept with the direction of each view, while listening to the music from the audio dvd that flows slowly. Until a question came to my mind, I asked this man beside me.

I looked at him and instantly he returned my eyes a few seconds before his gaze returned to the street in front of him. "Why?" ask her with her voice that is quite hoarse.

For a few seconds I tried to compose the words, how to make the question I was about to ask not offend him. But he seems not to be an irritable man. It's just that I'm trying to anticipate everything that's going to happen.

'Isn't it funny if suddenly the car stopped on the side of the road, then he asked me to get out of his car. Just because of a silly question I was going to ask him? Especially now that I'm not carrying anything," I thought and a few seconds later I remembered something more important than just my silly question.

"Geez!!!" yell at me with the left palm that I put on my forehead. Perhaps this exclamation of mine left this man beside me suffocating in shock. And sure enough when I turned to look at him, I found the look on his face confused.

"Why again?" he said, occasionally looking at me until he stopped his car when the traffic light intersection is red. Then he looked at me, waiting for me to answer his question by moving his eyebrows up and down quickly.

"Gua did not bring the wallet trus had forgotten to ask for money with brother cave!" I'm slow, really slow.

Instead of asking back, the man laughed out loud. Either laugh at my senility or laugh at my stupidity. What is clear is that right now I really feel very unlucky. Is this the reward for having worked on your own brother and best friend?

Vra*lan!

The man who is now driving again the speed of his car beside me, continues to laugh without stopping. This guy I'm talking about is Alex. Yeah, he's the guy I was telling Lisa about this afternoon. The man who told me his heart, a few days ago. And I immediately rejected it raw without considering it first.

"Laughter keep going! Haha Funny!" I said annoyed by mimicking a interrupted laugh. Slowly Alex tried to stop his laughter, although it was still followed by his chuckling voice.

I put on my pouting face then looked at him with eyes that I deliberately squinted. Alex finally stopped laughing. "Why suddenly think of a wallet?" he asked, looking at me occasionally.

I thought for a moment, trying to find the answer to that question. With my head turned towards him and my eyeballs occasionally staring at him and occasionally staring in the other direction.

"And the agreement is clear, the cave pick you up in the mall trus lu temenin cave to the children's toy store. Bantuin gua choose a gift for the older brother of the cave. Aye right?" Alex once again explained the contents of the agreement we made with lightning fast on the phone earlier. "Trus you need money for what? The return of the cave is also antherin to the house. Until your doorstep if necessary!" said again.

"Yes too?!" I just realized all my stupidity that looks very natural in front of him, as well as embarrassing me.

And again spontaneously, the previous silly question I wanted to tell her came back to me. I sighed, steadied myself to ask the question, then folded my right leg over the seat and sidestepped the sitting position with my shoulder resting on the back of the seat. I looked at him and prepared to ask him that question, after many times I let out my breath.

"Why do you still want to deck the same cave? 'And it's clear your nolak cave." I said it with a single breath and then ended up with a slow puff of my breath. Alex looked at me briefly.

For a moment he was silent, then turned the steering wheel. Making my head turn back to look outwards which turned out we had reached our destination. A children's toy store.

Alex parked the car, shutting the engine down. Then ask me to get out of the car immediately. He stepped first in front of me entering the door of the store. While I was just trying to walk behind him with various thoughts coming up in my head. No words came out of his mouth to answer my question. And I don't even try to ask him anymore.

I realized, my question was a little silly or even sounded very silly in his ear. No man wants to be recognized if he has been rejected by a woman. And stupidly again, the answer to the question I was asking just appeared in my brain.

Obviously he still wants to be close to me, because the way I contacted him earlier, it was a sign or could be called with another way to win my heart. Right? Am I wrong?

I don't know, maybe I'm just overconfident. I slowly shook my head to throw away my thoughts earlier. While walking in the footsteps of Alex.
