A bodyguard runs in search of Edward who turns out to be with Fredrick. The bodyguard's breathing was still irregular and racing quickly as he finally stood up and lowered his head in front of Fredrick.
"What's wrong?" Edward asked the bodyguard, the bodyguard he remembered. It was he who appointed the bodyguard to be the guardian of Lady Victoria in silence.
"Good day Your Highness." The guard looked at Edward. "Report Captain. Lady Victoria is on her way here and is now at the front gate of the training camp. We're waiting for permission to open the gate."
Fredrick choked on the water he was about to gulp. And frantically, going around the stables was like looking for something. Edward frowned at the strange behavior of the prince, and finally chose to ignore.
"What's he here for?" Edward preferred to look back at the bodyguards.
The guard scratched his head with a confused face. "Sorry captain, I didn't ask."
Edward snorted in annoyance. "Just open the gate."
After the bodyguard nodded and was about to turn around, Fredrick's voice sounded. "Wait a minute, I have orders. Tell the others if Lady Victoria is here, you must consider me a member of the common knight, this must be! youunderstand?"
The guard stared at Fredrick. Not much different from Edward's reaction when he saw Fredrick who was wearing ordinary knight clothes after, his woe had changed into a knight uniform.
"Hey, hurry up and go open the gate! don't make him wait long."
The bodyguard immediately regained his senses, and nodded. "Good Your Highness."
"Don't forget my orders." Connect Fredrick.
"Good Your Highness."
After the bodyguard left, Edward looked at Fredrick full of probes. Fredrick who looked at Edward just looked indifferently. "That goes for you, too, Ed."
Edward raised one eyebrow. "That means in front of him you're my subordinate?"
Fredrick smiled seductively, but in Edward's eyes, that smile always looked very disgusting. "Of course not! I know your way of mind that always wants to hit my eyes, Ed. Nope! Don't even try."
Edward clucked his throat, and Fredrick chuckled as he stepped out of the horse install towards the knight's training ground.
With her chin held high, Victoria walked into the gate. His direction of vision glanced at the knights who gave him a polite gesture of welcome. Sometimes some troops greeted him but he ignored him.
After his step through the training field and seeing some long benches, he headed there to rest his legs which he had used to walk quite a distance.
Some of the guards started to show their dislike. Some of them kept glancing at each other. The bodyguards were furthest from Victoria's view, starting to whisper to each other.
Diana who saw that tightened her jaw. His anger is provoked, when someone will talk bad things about his nonan. Just like the time at the main hall party.
Realizing Diana's misery, Victoria pulled her hand and looked at her with a smile. As if he said it didn't matter. Slowly Victoria pulled Diana's hand to sit next to her but, loudly Diana refused. "It's outside, my Lady. All eyes see."
Victoria scowled but still relented because it was true, all eyes were on them.
"Good day, my Lady."
The heavy voice of a man he was very familiar with. A voice that instantly scratched the anger and wounds in his heart. Making Victoria turn her head, staring intently full of vengeance and anger.
Memory returned. When her brother's lifeless body in a half-open dress was in a very dishonorable state, in a rough drag like a sack of wheat. Also the memory of how his parents were crying bitterly, and the most stifling memory of how the man's sword cut the throats of his two masters made Victoria's blood rustle hot.
Victoria's two hands clenched until her body trembled with anger. His eyes glanced at a box containing many swords stacked near the long chair. All his wits had only one command and purpose, he wanted to kill the man.
"My Lady." A gentle touch and warning on Victoria's shoulder, resuscitated her. She turned her head towards Diana who closed her eyes for quite a while as if giving her a message to calm down. Victoria bit her deep cheek, then tried to take a deep breath. Trying to set himself back to calm down.
Fredrick who was standing not far behind Edward caught all that, his eyes staring pushy but also there was admiration. Because if the one in the current situation was another noble woman, it was certain that the look they would give to a family slayer would be different. Fear, was the natural response they would give upon seeing Edward. But Victoria, just kept giving a bloodthirsty look. Even now, Victoria was quickly able to set the look of her face back flat.
"Sit down, there's something I want to ask." Very calm. Victoria's voice was very calm as if she was not dealing with the person who had already slashed the necks of her two masters, in front of her eyes directly.
After a short nap, Edward immediately landed his butt in the long chair opposite Victoria. His black eyeballs stared with mystery at Victoria's two pitch-green eyeballs. "What do you want to ask, my Lady?"
Victoria ignored Edward's question and looked at Diana. "Please make us a drink, something, or whatever it is, Di." Her request.
Diana nodded and immediately went towards the kitchen of the training camp. Victoria widened her gaze, looking around her. Even though it was only a shield because he was actually still very interested in the pile of swords that were in the box.
Finally Victoria's feet stood up, walking towards the box. His two pitch-green eyeballs scanned the swords inside the box. "Can I see it?"
Victoria violently kicked the box until all the swords in the box spilled onto the ground. Fredrick raised one eyebrow, glancing at Edward who had already furrowed his brows.
Victoria picked up a sword with a dark blue sheath that matched the color of her dress. Not enough to make the surrounding confused, without warning Victoria pulled the sword out half of the sheath.
Fredrick reflex will move to hold the sword because he is worried that Victoria will get hurt. How not, Victoria's soft pale little palm was holding a dangerous object. But fortunately, Fredrick had not had time to advance, Diana's panicked voice halting her intentions.
"My Lady!!!"
Victoria's head turned towards Diana who was already running towards her. With a tray of drinks that Diana put down just like that.
"Why are you panicking so much." Victoria doesn't seem to like it.
"Of course I panicked, my Lady. It's a dangerous thing." Diana replied fiercely.
"I just want to see." Laconic Victoria.
Her non-rejection was ignored by Diana. He immediately grabbed Victoria's hand which continued to hold the handle of the sword. "Look. Even your hand is not half the handle of this sword, my Lady."
Hearing Diana's insinuation, Victoria pissed off the pedanng. Her lips pursed in annoyance with eyes glaring at Diana. But Diana did not care, and immediately led her nonan to sit back. Fredrick held back his smile, it felt like he was very anxious.
Diana looked at Victoria who was still pouting. "I beg you not to play with any more dangerous things, my Lady. Please..." Diana turned her head, then glared annoyedly at Edward who looked still confused digesting the situation. "And you knights, please take care of our lady."
"Don't overdo it, I'm not a baby. I just want to know what it's like to cut someone else's neck with a sword." Victoria said indifferently, very indifferently and calmly.
But not with everyone who was there, most of them immediately lowered their heads. Diana was also down for what reason. And the atmosphere there turned even quieter.
Victoria who realized that, back straightened her head to look at Edward who seemed relaxed even like nothing had happened. Instead of being upset because Edward seemed to not care about his innuendo, Victoria instead grinned.
"Where's the drink, Di?"
"Yes, my Lady. I'll make a new one."
Victoria's head shook. "No need, just bring what you've made."
"But...." Diana's gaze looked at the tray of drinks that had been placed just like that. He was afraid that the cup, or maybe the tea he had made, was dirty with dust.
Victoria who realized Diana's doubts immediately spoke. "No problem, just take it."
Diana finally nodded and immediately headed towards where her tea tray was. But, just as it was about to pass Fredrick, Diana's footsteps stopped, staring at Fredrick with furrowed brows.
In a slight panic, Fredrick pressed his index finger against his lips. Giving a message so that Diana who seemed to be aware with her disguise did not give a greeting that could attract attention. Diana simply stared at Fredrick flatly, and finally chose to pass by him.
Diana's steps had already reached Victoria and Edward's table with her tea tray. His hands quickly began to serve tea to Victoria and Edward. Victoria stared at all the preparations Diana had provided, feeling something was lacking, Victoria immediately asked Edward.
"Is there no sugar here?"
"The sugar supply is running out. I had to wait until the beginning of the month to get it again. Sorry for the inconvenience, my Lady." Edward answered quickly, as if he knew and was used to someone asking Victoria questions.
"Oh very sad.. You should also squeeze out HIS natural results, not just his money."
Victoria's insinuation left Edward almost choking on the tea. This time he could not help his surprise because unmitigatedly, Victoria immediately insinuated the wisdom of the King who was the same as denouncing the King himself.
"So now let's talk about my arrival, Edward." Victoria looked at Edward sharply, her jaw tightly clenched until her voice fizzed. "Where is my family's grave?"
Calmly, Edward returned Victoria's sharp gaze. "It's not time for you to know, my Lady. But I could swear if I really buried your family properly."
Edward replied calmly. Which even re-ignited Victoria's emotions. His blood rippled hot again until it felt like Victoria wanted to throw a glass in Edward's face.
