Albert massaged his temple and glanced at Thomas who was still faithful to play with his papers. Glancing forward the same, Charles also no less faithful to play with ink and paper.
"You bored?"
Thomas' calm voice made Albert return the scrolls that were still piling up on his desk violently, making all the heads there finally turn to him.
Charles finally put his pen to the ink box and leaned his back against the chair while folding his hands in front of his chest. His friendly face looked at Albert's bored face
"It's Al's entertainment?"
Albert snickered bitterly which made Charles chuckle amusedly. The sound of Charles's hardness finally made Thomas compose his papers. Albert, seeing that his brothers-in-law had removed the paper and ink, immediately set his foot and walked towards the door, the sound of the door lock turning to make Charles straighten his back, Thomas immediately removed the paper from his hand.
"Working in two months"
Albert opened their discussion as he walked to his desk and landed his butt on the side of the table
"It looks like we didn't have enough time to make a play for that engagement"
Charles agreed to Albert's words. Thomas turned his butt so he could look at Albert and make a sound
"What did you say to Vic?"
"I didn't say about our suspicions, I said it was still vague and asked him to find out for himself from within directly"
Thomas nodded
"That's better, 'cause if there's anything awkward we can connect the tangled threads we can, so Vic stays safe"
Albert and Charles agreed
"Emy cried every day and unbeknownst to me almost sent someone to be the eyes and ears of the palace"
"Sama, Tatiana also almost sent someone to there Char"
Thomas smiled amusedly
"Jasmine too"
Finally they chuckle amused because of the behavior and mindset of their wives who are often in line.
"What did Vic say?"
Thomas's question made Albert smile with pride
"In line with my thoughts, he was deeply moved by the awkwardness of the Baron's son and His Majesty King George"
"So we wait for time?"
Charles's question made Albert and Thomas waste their breath
Seeing his sisters-in-law who looked unsure made Charles also throw a sigh of resignation
"It's almost 3 years we've been figuring it out but it's always just a tangled thread we got"
Albert's voice sounded while staring at Charles
"But Victoria's been trying to take a shortcut, she's trying to figure out how to directly shoot the 'Larina' groove'...."
Charles and Thomas looked at Albert curiously, Albert continued
"She plans to meet Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, probably starting from His Highness Prince Henry and hopefully at the engagement party that His Highness Prince Henry comes"
"He must have come"
Thomas' calm voice made Albert and Cahrles nod
Albert winked his shoulders indifferently
"Faithful, calm as always, Joseph always sent someone to send me a message to give me details of expenses, crops, mining products and most importantly what movements they did in the duchy"
"May God always protect Joseph, and he can survive his burden until Arthur returns"
Charles' friendly voice made all the heads there nod
"I'm sending someone to the west"
Thomas's calm voice but with non-soothing information made Albert's head turn to stare at him, not much different from Charles who directly massaged his hands. Thomas continued
"I was investigating when they were going to send a mourning message that turned out just a few days ago they sent along with the engagement plan message, as I expected, Arthur went berserk when the grief message arrived, and, the night after the letter in his hand he immediately drove towards the Palace but fortunately only when it was just out of the western border did my people find it and pass on my message which slightly calmed him down until the mission in the region west is done, if not" Thomas dissected because his lips were sore. "I don't know what's going to happen to Vic who's already inside the palace"
"Worst of all, they would do anything to make Victoria into full possession of the palace and to conceive the next throne with her blood and royal blood"
Albert chimed in on Thomas's words which made Charles harden his jaw and Thomas clench his hand.
"What about His Highness Prince Fredrick? I'd really do anything if he hurt Vic"
Albert who saw Thomas's calmness began to waver trying to melt the atmosphere
"Victoria's gonna be fine, the kind of guy she dreams of stays like you Thom"
Charles smiled amusedly and Thomas could only waste a sigh of relief
"And also I don't think he's that bad, there must be a reason, maybe"
Charles' statement made all heads nod
"As long as he was kept away from the Baron's son, he could definitely focus on his destiny and stop throwing tantrums"
Albert chimed in on Charles's words
"And Victoria had to go it alone"
Thomas chimed in on Charles' words which made Thomas again throw a deep breath after which his voice sounded again
"That color His Majesty needs an Arathorn girl who has leadership blood especially like Vic, I hope he can drive out demons that have long damaged the human soul"
Thomas' words made Albert and Charles laugh.
"But...." Thomas's cold voice made Albert and Charles' laughter stop. "Stay back to our final plan when something happens, His Highness Prince Henry must go up"
Charles massaged his hand again, Albert pressed his lips and Thomas closed his eyes in worry
"I hope God always helps us, I hate bloodshed, my hospital will be full of Thom" Charles's words made Albert shiver and Thomas cringe in horror.
"Francia will bleed"
Charles clasped his hands trembling
"By the sea Bedford! I don't want to be a murderer!"
