Chapter 83 - The Worrying Surprise

In the afternoon, Ayunda and Naren asked Melisa and Arvin to gather in the living room. The two were astonished at her, they were completely confused. Approximately, what his son and son-in-law wanted to talk about, because in view of the expression and the way they asked to gather in the living room it looked quite serious.

"So, what's up?" Ask Arvin. 

"Yes, what's wrong? Is there a problem? You guys got into a fight or something? Looking at Naren's face, it looks very serious." Melisa's words make her two look at each other and laugh when she heard the words of the Mami.

"No, Mi. Where we fight, there is no. We're fine, even very good." Narendra replied with a small smile.

"So, why are you asking us to gather here if you don't have any problems?" Tanya Arvin was serious. Narendra gave a small smile, His papi was always acting in a hurry like this.

"Your habits, like long-winded. Hurry up, don't make us both think nothing of you two!" Arvin Strictly. Narendra pulled out a box with ribbon ornaments that were fastened neatly and beautifully. The two of them compactly throw each other gazes and then look back at the couple who both share their sweet smile. 

"This is a surprise for Mami and Papi, accepted yes. Naren assures you, you will be surprised." Narendra said, he put the box on the table. Arvin takes her and prepares to open her, but Melisa first grabs her box and immediately opens it. 

Inside the box, there is a baby outfit with a testpack with two clear red lines, then a small photo of the USG results. Also a paper that says..

'Hallo Grandma, Grandpa, I'm coming.' 

Melisa looked at Ayunda with both teary eyes, she clearly knew what this all meant. Ayunda is pregnant at this time, pregnant with the granddaughter of the Sanjaya family. 

"Come here, baby.." Melisa. Ayunda quickly approached and the middle-aged woman immediately hugged her, clenched her tightly and rubbed her daughter-in-law's back affectionately.

"Thank you very much, baby. Mami is very surprised and touched by the surprise you give, you managed to give a very valuable surprise to Mami. Thank you, darling." Melisa said while crying. 

"Mommy why?" Tanya Ayunda, she broke her embrace and wiped the tears that were caving in her mother-in-law's eyes by using her thumb.

"Two months, Mi." Ayunda answered softly with a small smile.

"Two months? But you're married not for a month.." Said Arvin, like he forgot that before marriage, Narendra had done it first.

"But Naren is.."

"Aahh yes, Papi forgot. Sorry, sweetie." Arvin said, Ayunda nodded her head. It's okay, no problem at all. If her in-laws doubt her it doesn't matter, because they haven't been married that long, but she's eight weeks pregnant aka two months. But, the calculation of gestational age is always based on when the last menstruation. So it doesn't matter. 

After all, Narendra did not doubt Ayunda's pregnancy because she had already done so before they were married. You could say they got married in an accident. 

"Darling, take good care of your pregnancy?" Said Melisa while rubbing Ayunda's stomach gently.

"Of course, Mi. Ayu will definitely take good care of this fetus."

"Mommy's so happy to hear that you're pregnant now, congratulations.."

"Thank you, Mommy. Ayu also did not expect that she would get pregnant this fast." Said Ayunda with a small smile, she lowered her head and rubbed her stomach. 

In her stomach, there's another life in there. There is a growing fetus there, Ayunda is happy because she can contain the fruits of her love with her husband, Narendra. It does not matter how early they meet until they decide to get married, but they must fight to remain able to maintain this household lest there be a rift later, especially after the presence of the woman from her husband's past, Trisa.

'Whatever it takes, I promise to keep my husband, unless he asks me to leave.'
