Chapter 34 - Our Wedding

Today is the most awaited day for Melisa and Arvin. Today is Narendra and Ayunda's wedding day. Since morning blind, MUA party has come to decorate Ayunda. Although this is a simple wedding, there is only a kabul ijab event, but Melisa still wants to do the best for the prospective daughter-in-law and also the wedding of the girl. This is a once in a lifetime marriage. 

Yes, Melisa hopes that this marriage can last her long. He hopes that Ayunda and Naren will marry each one once in their lifetime, unlike him. 

Everyone knows that Melisa was married a second time when she married Arvin. It was because of her first husband who never appreciated her at all, because they were married because of an arranged marriage so the man never treated her well.

Arvin came and gave his hope and this is what they are now, building a household so well and harmoniously that they were given offspring, namely Narendra. Not without reason why they do not want to add a baby, but Arvin always refused because he did not want to see his wife in pain.

"Darling.." Call Melisa while opening the room slowly. She sees that Ayunda already looks beautiful with a simple make up and also a dress that Melisa personally ordered specifically. 

"Yes, Mi.." Ayunda replied, she turned to look towards Melisa. The middle-aged woman smiled then walked over to Ayunda who was sitting on the dresser chair. 

"You look so pretty, baby."

"Thank you, Mommy. But, I think this dress is too big and fancy for Ayu."

"No, it's just a simple dress, baby. Mami purposely ordered this dress for your wedding. Remember, it's a once in your lifetime wedding, it's a moment that should be memorable, baby." Melisa said with a smile, she rubbed Ayunda's beautiful face and hugged the girl who would become her daughter-in-law warmly. 

"Mi, do you believe that this marriage is.."

"Yes, honey. Mami's sure, you can survive the wedding. Mami also believes that you will be a good wife and mother for your husband and children later." Clearly Melisa made Ayunda smile a little.

"Alright, Mi. Please help Ayu, if something goes wrong, please advise Ayu yes, Mi." 

"Of course, honey. You can ask anything with Mami, moaning with Mami yes. Think of your mother as your own mother." Obviously Melisa, Ayunda nodded her head. 

The woman also took the hand of Ayunda, today Ayu's uncle will be the guardian at the wedding of Ayunda and Naren. Because the father is dead, so his uncle will give Ayu blessing to live a new life with the man who became his choice.

Adam smiled as he saw his nephew coming down from the room with his graceful steps, he looked very pretty wrapped in a white dress with many beads in the dress. It looks so beautiful, it makes Adam feel good. He rubbed his slowly dripping tears. 

The man is very good, but his wife and daughter are evil to Ayunda. He knew it, even now he came here without the permission of his wife and daughter. With reason, will go out of town meeting, even though he came to give blessing to Ayunda's marriage.

Naren immediately clasped Ayunda's hand as soon as the girl came and approached her. He could barely even blink when he saw how beautiful Ayunda, the girl who was about to officially become his wife. 

"Are you all ready?"

"Ready, sir." Reply Naren. 

"Alright, let's shake the hand of the marriage guardian." Naren nodded and shook the hand of Adam, the middle-aged man who was the uncle of the girl he was about to marry. 

"Brother Narendra Aksa Sanjaya, I marry and marry you to Ayunda Maishika bint Budi Haryanto with a dowry a set of gold jewelry in cash."

"How are the witnesses, legitimate?"

Everyone present cheered said Sah. This marriage was legal in the eyes of religion and country, the man rubbed his face and re-opened his hands to pray. After finishing with the prayer, both of them pin the ring on their respective ring fingers. 

Naren kissed Ayunda's forehead affectionately and the two signed a marriage license. That way, the wedding is over. 

Adam drew closer to the pelaminan, the man immediately hugged Ayunda and was countered by the girl with his warm embrace.

"Goodbye to your new life, baby. Sorry that uncle may have failed to take care of you because uncle was too afraid of uncle's wife and children, forgive all uncle's mistakes huh, Ayu?"

"I'm sorry uncle, besides uncle should not apologize to Ayu. Uncle's not wrong about anything with Ayu." Ayunda answered while crying in Adam's arms.

"May your marriage last until death do you part? Uncle is happy for you."

"Thank you, uncle." Ayunda.

"Don't cry yeah, the beauty will fade. Shame on your husband, happiness is always yes, baby." Adam said, he again grabbed Ayunda into his arms. He loved Ayunda as much as his own son, too bad he had a son and an evil wife to make him have to part with Ayunda.

"Yes, Uncle."

"Uncle must come home soon, uncle can not stay here long. Every now and then call uncle, baby?"

"Good, Uncle. Be careful on the road and thank you for being Ayu's wedding guardian."

"No need to thank you, it's uncle's job, baby. Be happy here, yes.."

"Naren, uncle tipped Ayu with you huh? She's a good kid, just a little spoiled and stubborn, but Uncle's sure she'll be a good wife." Adam told Naren. The man smiled and nodded his head.

"By pleasure, I will take care of Ayu, uncle."

"Alright, uncle feels more relieved now. Then, uncle, excuse me." Pamit Adam, both of them nodded. Ayunda watched as Adam's back slowly began to drift away with his two teary eyes. 

Naren who saw it immediately hugged Ayunda, he rubbed his wife's back gently.

"Don't be sad, I'm here. Let your uncle go because he's done his duty, baby." Naren Lirih.
