Chapter 199 - Narendra's Disorder

Several months passed, until finally this was the day most awaited by Narendra and Ayunda. The couple was in the hospital this morning when Narendra was about to leave for work, he noticed something strange about his wife.

He was seen grimacing while holding his stomach which he said was a bit cramped. Ayunda and Narendra thought because lately Ayunda often do gymnastics with mothers in the housing complex with Melisa. Maybe it's the effect of gymnastics pregnant women, but the longer Ayunda increasingly feel pain in the lower abdomen. 

After a few minutes passed, Narendra saw that the wife's clothes were wet with mucus mixed with blood. That was when Narendra panicked and immediately ran to call Mami outside the room. 

Melisa herself was no less panicked when she saw her daughter-in-law continue to grimace in pain, accompanied by wet clothes. The liquid littered the floor, making the woman confident that Ayunda would give birth now. Narendra also canceled to go to the company and take the wife to the hospital. 

Narendra could not believe that today was the day he had been waiting for for nine months, according to the doctor's prediction there were still a few days left, no one knows when the baby will be born. It could be faster or slower than expected. Man cannot exceed God's will.

"M-gold.." Call Ayunda to the husband who is sitting next to her, holding his hand and rubbing her gently.

"Yes, honey. It's here, why?"

"Hope, Mas." Lirih Ayunda's. 

"Before, I'll get you some water first.."

"But want a sweet drink, Mas. Any?" Ask Ayunda. I don't know, innately he even wants a sweet drink. 

"What yes? Nothing, honey. Just white water, how? It's impossible to go out for sweet tea." 

"Yaudah gapapa, Mom." Answer Ayunda weakly. Before long, the door opened showing Melisa's panicked face while carrying a cup. 

"Darling, this is in drinking warm sweet tea. It's using brown sugar, so it'll pass you there's energy." Melisa said as she put the cup of warm sweet tea into Narendra's hand to give his wife a drink slowly.

"It just so happens that Ayunda wants to be sweet."

"Yes, in the drink yes. Finished.." 

"Where are you going?"

"You're out, you're here waiting for your wife."

"Okay, Mi. Wait for Ayu to stop? All of a sudden it's stomach kok mules, want a pup."

"Judah there, don't be noisy but yes.." Melisa's words made Narendra chuckle softly. The name of the person panicked, no one knows, the symptoms of nervousness facing the wife who will give birth are different, some even wet their pants so nervous. "Mommy, Ayu's scared.." Ayunda's great-granddaughter softly, she stared timidly at her mother-in-law who was also staring at her.

"Don't be afraid, baby. Trust me, your pain will now be replaced when you see your baby born healthy and well, dear." Melisa said with a smile. 

"Mommy, Mas Naren won't miss Ayu right?"

"No, if she wants to leave you, then Mami will stand in front of her to defend you, dear." Melisa smiled as she rubbed the long mane of her beloved daughter-in-law. 

"Don't think too much unnecessarily, dear. Believe me, Mami, Naren, there's a grandpa Papi outside, same Uncle as well. They are always by your side, wishing you the best." 

"Thank you, Mommy. I am glad to hear it." Reply Ayunda with a smile.

"Mommy loves you, baby."

"No, hon. You never took care of Mami really, everything you give to me is all sincere Mami does for you, because you are Mami's favorite daughter-in-law." Reply Melisa while rubbing the back of Ayunda's hand gently.

"After the contraction? Just keep Mami's hand, baby. Really, mom doesn't mind at all." Melisa let Ayunda hold her hand. He felt a strong feeling in his hand, he was in pain but the pain was not comparable to what Ayunda felt. 

Melisa smiled withstanding the pain, as Ayunda's nails pierced through her skin. Even though her nails were short, but if she did it strongly, then the result would still be the same, resulting in injuries. 

"Mommy, Ayu apologize to Mami.."

"Mommy forgave all your mistakes, baby. Don't ever think that all this time you've had a mistake with Mami, you don't have any fault with Mami." Melisa. Until Ayunda loosened her hands in Melisa's hands. The middle-aged woman could see there were nail marks that caused wounds to bleed. 

"Mommy, sorry Ayu has made Mami's hand hurt so."

"It's okay, honey. Just a small wound, don't apologize too often, honey. It's not your fault, after all Mami offered herself." 

Moments later, a nurse came into the room to check the opening. Melisa moved away from her seat, but even so she remained standing beside the daughter-in-law, while continuing to hold the woman's hand tightly.

"Let's check the opening first huh.." Say the nurse while taking out the tools to check Ayunda's opening. 

He wore rubber gloves and without hesitation put his hands into the sensitive area of Ayunda and it was seen by Narendra who had just come out of the bathroom, the man's face immediately reddened when he saw how the nurse had checked the opening.

"Hand? Get into my assets? Gosh.." Murmuring Narendra while looking at his hands, he wondered to himself how such a big fist could fit into such a small hole? Even the first time he and my mom did that, he was in pain not playing. Now you can get in the fist? Jesus, the weapon will be useless.

"Naren, what's bengong there. Come here, your wife." Melisa said as she asked Narendra to come closer. The man approached and took over the wife's hand from the mother and clasped her tightly. 

Ayunda grimaced a few times when he felt a foreign object tearing into something at the bottom. 

"Miss, the opening is still seven. Wait a minute, until the opening is complete.." Watered the nurse while opening her rubber gloves and placing it on top of an aluminum object. 

"Until opening ten, sir."

"But my wife is already in pain, if this is how she will limp first before giving birth."

"But we also can't take any action if the opening isn't perfect." Obviously the nurse was smiling little.

"But sus.."

"Sir, we have some rules that must be followed to fulfill our oath when going to be medical personnel, forgive me but this kind of thing can be said reasonable. There's no bleeding on Miss Ayunda." 

"All right, thanks sister." Melisa said while closing her son's mouth because the man was ready to return to answer the nurse's words, she did not want to debate because the doctor and nurse had oaths and regulations to deal with patients, especially patients who will give birth like Ayunda. 

The nurse went outside the room, the man looked in annoyance at the mother, he was not satisfied with the nurse's answer.

"Why look at Mami like that?"

"Mommy why did the nurse leave anyway? Narendra still has questions."

"Later on, your wife is in pain to hold back the contraction don't you add to the commotion here." Melisa's reply made Narendra speechless, but when he saw the wife's pale face made him afraid and worried about his wife's situation.

"But Mi, look at Ayu already pale. I'm scared, Mi.."

"Nothing's going to happen, Naren. You have to trust your wife. Only two more openings, then your wife can be taken to the delivery room." Melisa's words made Narendra speechless.

"Indeed it can't be so giving birth but the opening isn't ten that?"

"It could be, but later your wife's favorite item in the scissors continues to be sewed a lot, would you make your wife in pain again hmm?" Ask Melisa. "No, even if you give birth normally it will be the same as the first time." Melisa's words made Ayunda round her eyes.

"Sick dong, Mi?"

"If your husband is good at warming it will not hurt, but otherwise if your husband can not make you hot, will be sick. Even the pain is much more painful than the first time." It was clearly Melisa who made Ayunda round her eyes.

"After giving birth, there are no more rations, Mom!" Say to her husband.

"Multiple days? Meanin?"

"Yes her fast, Mommy." Narendra's reply upset Melisa herself with her son. He hit Narendra's head with anxiety, already wanted to be a father of two children, but why his behavior even like this? "Fasting after giving birth is for 40 days."

"H-ahh? 40 days? Long time, Mi." Ask Narendra.

"Your wife is so long, sometimes there is more." Melisa's reply made Narendra grab her own hair in frustration. This means that last night's rations should be enough for the next 40 days. Ayunda again felt the contraction, he grimaced in pain making Narendra unable to call the doctor to re-examine his wife's condition. It did not take long, a female doctor came to check the opening of Ayunda. Again, the doctor did an opening check with the same method, meaning that this is already the way it is, huh? Neither nurses nor doctors, they check the opening in the same way. 

"The opening is complete, let's move it to the delivery room. Prepare one person who will accompany the patient during the birth process." The doctor said it gave instructions.

"You get ready, be careful there. Accompany your wife, don't let your guard down. Check him out, okay?"

"Surely, Mommy." Answer Narendra. Everyone outside also followed Ayunda who was moved to the delivery room to give birth because the opening was complete.

The room was closed, in the room that felt very tense it was only Ayunda, Narendra, a doctor and there were several nurses who were always ready to accompany the obstetrician. 

"Are you ready, Miss? If you want to make it, just hang on now." The doctor said with a small smile. Ayunda nodded her head, to be honest she felt weak but she had to fight to be able to meet the baby who had been in later-anticipated presence among them.

"Yes, doctor." Answer Ayunda lirih. The procession of giving birth was started, Ayunda really struggled to be able to meet his baby. The man also continued to be beside Ayunda, he whispered words of love that made Ayunda feel excited to be able to meet their baby. 

"Dear, passion. Ilove you.." Whisper Narendra, such words alone are capable of burning the spirit of Airyn. Until finally the sound of the baby's cry sounded very loud, making Narendra smile with relief. His first child was born.

"First baby boy, sir. Born perfectly, without any defects." Said a nurse with a small smile. 

"Thank you, baby. There's still one more of our children you have to fight for." Whisper Narendra again. Until finally Ayunda felt back the extraordinary contraction and finally she was able to give birth to her twins safely. Tired up? True enough, he felt very tired but it turned out that his struggle was still not over.
