Chapter 161 - Baby Twins

Upon his arrival at the hospital, the couple's beloved husband and wife was greeted warmly. Both of them smiled when they saw the obstetrician who used to handle Ayunda's pregnancy. 

"Hallo, good afternoon Miss Ayunda." Greet him kindly. 

"Good day too, doc."

"Can I help you?" Ask the doctor kindly. Because all this time, Ayunda never checked her pregnancy to the hospital.

"Just want an ultrasound, doc. Doing your advice last week." Reply Ayunda with a smile. 

"Oh yeah, I forgot. Okay, let's check." The doctor smiled, then moved from his seat and prepared a gurney to sleep with Ayunda during an ultrasound or ultrasound examination. 

Naren helped his wife to lie down in the gurney slowly. The man clasped Ayunda's hand tightly, never letting go for a second. He was worried that something might happen that he did not want, because Ayunda's stomach was really very big. As already pregnant seven or eight months, but now Ayunda is only five months pregnant. 

The doctor slowly pulled out the clothes worn by Ayunda, then applied a kind of gel that felt very cold, making Ayunda a little surprised when the gel hit the surface of his skin. 

"Cold, Miss?" Ask the doctor with a smile. 

"Hehe, yes doc. A little surprised, but it's okay." Answer Ayunda. The woman's doctor also brought a small object and twirled it over Ayunda's distended stomach. The doctor smiled, but his guess was correct. 

"What's up, Doc? Is there something wrong with my wife's pregnancy?" Narendra asked worriedly. Dr. Rini did say that Ayunda's pregnancy is quite awkward, but awkward in another sense. Not that the content of Ayunda is not normal or there is something dangerous threatening the fetus. But it's awkward in another sense. 

Whahuh? Dr. Rini had suspected that Ayunda's pregnancy this time was quite special and sure enough, his guess did not miss. 

"Congratulations, Mister and Miss."

"Congratulations?" Ask Ayunda and Narendra together. 

"Look, you can see there are three circles on this screen. The one big circle that covers those two little circles is your womb, Miss. And those two little circles are your fetuses, which means you're carrying two fetuses in there." The doctor was clearly smiling. 

Ayunda and Narendra fell silent, they were busy with their own thoughts. But clearly, they were really surprised to hear Dr. Rini's explanation. Does Ayunda have twins?

"That means my wife is pregnant with twins, doctor?" Narendra asked with a face that had no idea what it meant. He looked happy but also worried at the same time, making doctor Rini smile a little. 

"Yes, Sir." Dr. Rini replied, making the couple look at each other. The two of them throw a smile, then Narendra hugs the body of Ayunda who is still lying on the examination gurney. 

"Honey, we're gonna have two kids at once. Thank you, thank you very much. Very happy, dear." Narendra. Without feeling it, his tears fell down his handsome face. He was in disbelief at what he was hearing right now, his wife was pregnant with twins? Aaahhh, it feels so happy. 

"Pinch me, Mas. Is this real or just a dream?" Ask Ayunda. Narendra broke his embrace, then pinched his wife's cabi cheek gently with anxiety. Maybe he still thinks this is a dream. 

"Aawwhhss, pain, Mas. But does that mean I'm not dreaming? This is all reality, Mom?"

"Yes, baby." Answer Narendra. Now, it was Ayunda who dropped her tears. She cried because it turned out that God had really prepared an unexpected surprise for her. He really gets happiness that many times over. In the past, she experienced the pain of loss, but now God replaced her with a new life. Currently, Ayunda is pregnant with two living and growing fetuses developing in the womb of Ayunda. 

God is fair, right? Yes, true to the term there will be rainbows after the storm. Today, rainbows are gracing the lives of Naren and Ayunda. Both are happy now, may this happiness last long and forever. 

Dr. Rini smiled when she saw the eyes of the couple looked swollen from crying. They felt overwhelmed by the unexpected news, Narendra and Ayunda did not suspect at all that Ayunda was pregnant with twins now. It is fitting that Doctor Rini suggested to go to the hospital and do an examination because for him Ayunda's stomach is too big for a five-month pregnant woman. 

"Congratulations, Monsieur and Miss. I'm so happy to see you guys, I hope Miss Ayunda's pregnancy is healthy and her fetus is growing well in there." Said Dr. Rini with her sweet smile. He also felt pain when he watched Naren and Ayunda slumped due to the loss of their first child. 

She is indeed a doctor who has always handled the Sanjaya family, even when Melisa was pregnant by Naren and Rini's doctor was the one who handled her delivery. That's when Rini and Melisa become close, until finally he is believed to be the personal doctor of the Sanjaya family. 

The Sanjaya family does have some personal doctors to take care of their health. One of them, of course, is Doctor Rini. 

"Thank you, doctor."

"This is what I said was awkward, I had guessed that Miss Ayunda was indeed pregnant with twins, because of the size of her large stomach. So I guess that Miss Ayunda can't possibly contain just one bayk." Obviously doctor Rini with a smile. 

"Then why don't you tell us. Honestly, I'm worried about that awkward word you talked about that day."

"Sorry, Sir. I can't say all that before I make sure myself that my guess is not wrong, I'm sorry to worry you."

"It's okay, doc. What matters is that you know the truth. So, is my wife's pregnancy okay?" Narendra asked again with his worried face. 

"Miss Ayunda's addiction is fine, no symptoms whatsoever. However, twin pregnancies are more vulnerable than regular pregnancies. So, I hope you are more alert and can take good care of your wife. Not to be cheated again like you already are." The doctor was clearly smiling. 

"Good, doctor. As much as possible I will take good care of my wife's pregnancy, nor will I miss any more after this."

"Alright, I'll just prescribe vitamins for boosters and some of his other supplements. Still having morning sickness?" 

"Slightly, doctor. It's just certain hours, but the frequency isn't as frequent as that."

"Ohh, huh? Good, indeed your content has reached the age of five. So morning sickness may not be too often you feel." Obviously doctor Rini with a sweet smile.

"Good, doc."

"This is the recipe, please make it in the pharmacy."

"Thank you, doctor."

"I'm transferring as usual, doc."

"Look easy, sir. Just like anyone." Doctor Rini replied with a small smile. Narendra and Ayunda leave the doctor's room with a colored heart, but what is certain is happiness.
