SCR 037: Underground Breather P2

“Give me your hammer, and let me kill this damn monster.”

Rook was silent for a long time when I came up with my idea.

“Are you crazy, Eva ?” ask Rook to me. As expected, that would definitely come out of his mouth at this moment. I took a deep breath before finally directly taking Rook's hammer out of hand.

“Hey, bad girl ! Return my fucking hammer !”

I grimaced in pain as the two legs I used to land hit a road that was like a black iron bridge filled with small cavities along the bottom of it. My voice can even be heard upwards when Rook suddenly speaks to me through the hole of SCR 037.

“Don't be rash, stupid !” rook from above. I ignored his warning, because right in front of me right now, SCR 037 was staring at me above a small black room that seemed to serve to connect one bridge to another.

“So this is your favorite place, heh ?”

SCR 037 instantly jumped backwards and instantly disappeared from my distance of sight. The place looks perfect for him. SCR 037 again swung one of its chains towards my stomach from the side. I used the long side of the lower part of the Rook hammer to fend off as well as throw the chain behind me. SCR 037 pulls the chain back and immediately jumps right to the bottom of the bridge.

“So so. Play hide hideaway ? Hmph, you coward.” my snort. SCR 037 again appeared a few meters behind me and directly threw its right chain towards my head. I dodged to the right, and after the chain fell down, I immediately ran closer to SCR 037 while swinging Rook's hammer very strongly while SCR 037 was still pulling the chain back. Again SCR 037 jumped back and landed back on top of the bridge connecting room in front of me.

I'm getting frustrated by this one creature. SCR 037 again jumped under the bridge and managed to make me lose my sanity and inexplicably make me keep hitting and then Rook to the floor of this bridge. So is this what it feels like to be engulfed by your own emotions ? Really feels really shitty. SCR 037 then crawled right under the bridge where I stood and went back to provoke my wild emotions. For no apparent reason, I raised the Rook hammer unacquainted and intended to hit SCR 037 which was clearly protected by the hollow floor of this bridge. SCR 037 instantly took out a black tentacle from within its mouth that instantly extended and pierced through one of the cavities of the bridge floor where I was standing as well as piercing through my left shoulder blade.

“Dedemit.... Bastard !” I said while enduring the pain in my left shoulder blade area. I then hit the black tentacle of SCR 037 until it was cut off using Rook's hammer. I pulled the part of the tentacle that was cut off from my left shoulder. Emotionally, I again raised my hammer unconsciously and intended to do the same thing again. But SCR 037 actually extends its black tentacles directly attached to the wall on the right, then hangs towards the wall and creeps upwards for a few steps before finally stopping moving. I who realized the movement of SCR 037 immediately stopped my hammer blow in the middle of the air and then turned to look at him.

SCR 037 suddenly took out a pair of wings from inside his back then looked back at me. I with an annoyed face pointed Rook's hammer at the creature.

He extended his black tentacles and I managed to dodge the attack, lifted my hammer, then struck his black tentacles which also served as a tongue with all my might. The blow completely destroyed most of the maximum size of her tentacles. SCR 037 groans in pain while covering his mouth with both hands. I walked up to SCR 037 which was losing power, and lifted Rook's hammer back. In an annoyed tone, I swung Rook's hammer to his chest while shouting.

“Hei, Eva. Did you know that SCR 037 was originally human.”
