SCR 121: Skin Depleteer P1

My eyes began to blur, and I began to have difficulty breathing. I can only feel Rook putting my body under the floor.

What is that sound ? Did Rook close the fucking door ? I hope my guess is right. I don't want to deal with that fucking poison gas anymore.

What is this feeling ? Is just taking a deep breath as possible able to cure the effects of poisonous gases this fast ? I don't remember any human being who could do that. My body feels normal in just a few seconds. It's insanity. There's no way I'm one of them, right ?

“Hey, need help ?”

I opened my eyes. I saw someone standing in front of me. I couldn't see it clearly, only his legs were visible to me. At least his feet were still on the floor.

“It looks like you do need help.” I saw that person walking forward. It looks like he's talking to Rook. Now I just need to recover my energy. I tried my hardest to get up. At least I can sit now. I turned my head back and found the new man tucking a stick between the door handles and bending it. The door was finally locked. At least our position is safe thanks to the new guy. Rook and the new guy then looked at each other, like they were looking at a familiar face for both of them. I forced my limp body to stand by leaning against the wall. Just standing up was so exhausting like this, how would it be if I walked now ? I softly turned towards the two of them. Rook and the person I didn't know then started smiling widely, laughing small, then clasping each other's hands firmly. They both laughed as hard as they could.

“Brotherrr !!!” yell at them both.

“It turns out you're safe, nigger !!”

“You are also alive, bule !!”

They hugged each other tightly. Although their conversation was full of ridicule from each other, none of them were offended at all. In fact, Rook looks like he will be even happier if he is insulted by that person. That's what we call friendship. Still leaning against the wall, I smiled slightly as I was comforted by the two of them.

“Rook, who is he ?” I asked with a witty. I know that my question is indeed disturbing their reunion, but I was already curious about the person who looks quite friendly, but also this great.

“Ah, you can already stand, Eva ? So fast.” said Rook who was a little surprised when he saw me standing. The two of them finally let go of each other's embrace and returned to their serious faces.

“That's how.” answered me in a soft voice.

“SCR 050 and its victims. At the very least, the gas did not go inside here either.” Rook replied to the person. Damn, I even forgot that a gas can enter anything because it is an intangible material.

“Ehm, at least answer my first question earlier, Rook.” said I who once again interrupted their time together.

“Damn it, I forgot.” Rook said as he patted his own eel. He then turned to his friend who was immediately replied with a sigh. The man then walked over to me and thrust his right hand.

“Known, my name is Robin.”

“Not real name, right ?” ask me with a smile to say hello while returning his hand. Robin returned my smile.

“Smart also you. Your name is Eva, right?”

“Iya.” answer.

“Alright, I will approve of the relationship between the two of you from now on.” refutes Rook who instantly made me let go of my handshake with Robin. I immediately looked at Rook sharply as I swept my lips. Rook and Robin laughed loudly, making me want to curse them both even more. Robin then stops her laughter and is followed by Rook when it dawns that the three of us have spent too long in this hallway.

“We should go now.” said Robin. Rook and I nodded in agreement, then the three of us continued on this journey.

“Eva, you don't look like someone who just got poisoned, tau. ” Robin told me.

“Let's know what really happened to me. At least this I also experienced just now when both my hands healed back after getting SCR 008.” I replied at length.

“The problem is I also already know about it.” replied me again.

“Hey, you two don't keep talking. At the end there is someone watching us know.” said Rook who immediately made our steps three stopped suddenly. And sure enough, at the end of our front hallway was someone standing still. The words Rook said were only half right, because that person was actually not watching us.

“They.” replied Robin reasserted. Robin, Rook, and I came back to a standstill as the SCR 016 hordes came into view.

“Eva, have you ever seen the movie John Wick ?” ask Robin.

“Hah ?”

“Today you will see it in real life.” said Robin who then took the bow on his back. Rook also did not want to lose, he took his iron shield and also cocked his shotgun. It seems like they are indeed preparing to do some crazy stunts simultaneously.

I retreated and hid behind them. Robin and Rook then advance forward followed by the SCR 016 who also started walking towards the two of them. Robin and Rook then immediately ran into the group SCR 016. Although they both look outnumbered, but make no mistake. Here the SCR 016 are the ones who are overwhelmed to attack them. Robin's movements are very agile, he continues to avoid all the attacks of the SCR 016 zombies while shooting at them using his arrows with great precision. Meanwhile, Rook uses his shield to protect Robin while attacking using his shotgun and leg strength. Their fight does look very similar to the scene in the action film. Unbeknownst to me, this legendary duo has managed to slaughter the SCR 016 zombies. Robin and Rook then stared at me.

“You're okay, princess ?” ask Robin and Rook at the same time. It's bad, long time I've been going crazy because of these two guys. I shyly answered yes while nodding. I walked closer to them and continued on our way. After the three of us turned to the right, I began to feel a very heavy drowsiness. Looks like my energy has really not recovered. I held them both with both hands.

“Hey, do you guys know the limits of a woman ? I want to sleep now.” my question with eyes that begin to weigh. They both looked at me simultaneously.

“Of course. You think me and Rook aren't tired either ? Hang on, we'll be in the infirmary.” replied Robin.

I took a very long breath.

“Damn it, I've been expecting such an oasis since earlier.”

After a while, the three of us stopped in front of a room. Robin and Rook stared at me, like they were saying we had reached our destination. I opened the door of the room and walked in. From inside this dark room, I saw Robin and Rook just leaning against the wall and sitting on the floor.

“You two are not in?” ask me from the threshold. Robin looked at me while yawning loudly. They seem to be very tired.

“No need. Me and Rook will be guarding out here. You enjoy your own privacy in there.” replied Robin in a voice that began to decline. I smiled broadly at the two of them.

“Thank you, both of you.” I said.

“Terussle.”

I closed the door to this dark room. My hands then began to feel the feel of the surrounding walls and finally found the thing I was looking for, the light switch. I tried to keep the lights on in this room, but I couldn't.

“From the many aisles with bright lights on, why only the lights here can not be turned on ?” my lament. I sighed for a moment and chose to forget about this. After all, many people say that sleeping in the dark can help you sleep better. I walked to the bed in front of me and dropped my body on my back when I arrived. It's really soft, unlike the mattress that was in my room before. I took off my protective shoes, then dragged my body to put my head on the pillow that was already available. Really comfortable. It was like sleeping on a five-star hotel bed. How long have I not slept this comfortably ? It might have been a long time. I then tilted my body to the left and began to close my eyes. I'm actually still thinking, why would a health room like this provide a five-star hotel mattress, but forget about it.

Wait for. What did I just see ? A scratch that says 'don't sleep' is engraved on the wall next to me ? Forget it, I was just hallucinating. Maybe the next 5 or 6 hours when I wake up, the evacuation team has arrived here and will get me, Robin, and Rook out of this cursed place. That was how I thought, without realizing that there was a black shadow entering my room.
