The Eps 85

Media is stirring again. As expected about Toddy and Jun's relationship, they are finally caught on camera dating together. Fortunately, Toddy and Jun had already told Erigo's father and mother about their relationship, so when the news came out, their parents were not too surprised. It's just that Erigo's parents' house was suddenly filled with people who wanted to cover and interview.

"Hurry here. It's so fucked up here. Mom and dad can't even open the window curtain." Whine Jun on the other end of the phone.

"I'm on my way with Devano, I can't get there right now. I'll have our manager there." Erigo said and then disconnected.

"It seems like a mess." Devano sbari said showing a screenshot on her phone screen. "Have you called Toddy?" Ask again.

Erigo sighed heavily and shook his head. It was supposed to be a quiet start to the week, but it got messy because of the dating news of their oldest member. "I didn't call him, Jun must have done it."

"You were all right when you left the house this morning?" Ask Devano again.

"Ah.. Also true. It's quiet in my house." Erigo said with a proud smile. The gatekeepers of his house must have expelled whoever the media crew who came there because Erigo and Aira were very strict in arranging so that no news seekers were close to their residence, especially his twin sons Aelius and Aeliana.

Erigo looked at Devano. "Looking at my parents' house being shrouded like that, what do you think of the atmosphere in Toddy's house?"

Devano chuckled at the thought of the situation. "I think some people will be willing to stay or even push a tent in front of his apartment." Say it while laughing.

Erigo was wondering what to do now. "Should I call Toddy and ask?" Her speech.

"Just try it." Devano. "I'm curious too. What is he doing now?" Further again.

Erigo called his manager and asked the manager to take care of the reporters first. After that he pressed the call button to Toddy's phone. Toddy lamgsung picked it up on the first ringing. He seems to be panicking.

"Erigo!!" He said in a tight tone until Erigo slightly kept his phone away from the ear. Devano who saw it immediately laughed.

"How are you doing?" Erigo asked and instantly activated the speaker of his phone.

"Augh... It's so fucked up here. The reporters were completely insane. They're terrible." Toddy half-screamed hysterically.

Erigo and Devano could only laugh. They have already passed through the same phase. The knowledge of dating then became the target of journalists and media months for weeks or even months. What an amazing life.

"They're all terrible." Toddy still grumbled in panic.

"Have you called Jun?" Devano asked, as it seemed Erigo himself was still a bit hesitant to ask even though he was curious.

"It." Answer Toddy. "I've spoken to Jun. The situation there is not much different either. I also talked to Mom and Dad and apologized." Said continued.

"I asked the manager over there and I hope he can handle things until you two talk straight." Erigo. "I speak based on my experience. You'd better make a formal statement before they start speculating and end up hurting one of you." Erigo said again.

Devano added. "They're so cruel Toddy. If they don't get the news, then they'll make-up the news."

"I know. I'll see what I can do first. I'll call you back." Said Toddy before disconnecting.

Meanwhile at home, Aira was busy calling her agency representatives and asking to send someone to her in-laws' house to address the crowd of reporters. Aira also calls Airez and asks that his brother send some of his confidants to keep watch around his in-laws' house.

"You can't go anywhere Jun. Just call your place of work and tell me you can't come." Aira said to Jun at the end of the line.

"What should I say as an excuse?" Said Jun grimly.

"Don't be silly. You haven't seen your face fill the television and social media screens since last night? Everyone in your workplace knows. Unless they're all still pure and living in a cave." Cetus Aira's.

Aira could not bear to roll her eyeballs. "mmm.. Ja.. Gosh." Repeat Aira in a mocking tone. "Give the phone to mom." Aira.

"Hello Aira." The voice of her mother-in-law.

"Hello mother. Mommy all right? They must be bothering mom, right?" Aira asked attentively.

"really so. And they're also very noisy." Mother-in-law aira laughed. "What's this like when you and Erigo get on the news first?" Ask again.

"really so. They still bother him the same. But it's okay mom. Later if they get something else to do and tell, they'll stop." Answer Aira softly. "Mom try to rest in the room. Mother's health is more important." Say Aira again.

"Mom is okay. Too much sleep also makes me feel worse." Aira's mother-in-law sighed heavily. "Mom's just a little worried about Jun." Say again.

"It's okay mom. Jun had to go through this at least once in his lifetime to get used to it. That's how Erigo and Toddy run their days." Aira.

"You're very attentive to Aira. Thanks." Thanks." Said the mother-in-law. "Ah.. How's grandchildren? What are they doing now?" Ask her in-laws again.

Aira smile. "They're healthy mothers. Playing with color paint. Erigo bought plain white wallpaper, and the children were very happy to stick the tiny, colorful hand of paint on the wall."

"really? Put my best regards on both."

"Good mom. Later when things subside, mom can come visit and play with them too." Aira. They chatted for a few more minutes before finally closing the call. Aira hoped that things at her in-laws' house would soon return to normal.

Later that night, an official statement was released through the agency to clarify the news that had been spread. Of course, after the agency previously contacted both parties. Toddy and Jun acknowledge their relationship.

The public reaction was beyond belief. If Aira had been in an all-out bulli, it turned out that was not the case for Jun. Fans supported their relationship, and a lot of congratulations and positive support flooded in through comments on social media.

"Jun is really lucky. She's not as maki-maki as I am." Aira said when she opened Summer's social media page with Erigo. He just said it all the while ago.

"Oh Aira, I feel so guilty. It must be hard for you." said Erigo.

Aira chuckles. "no need. I'm just talking to myself, why are you so sensitive?" ask Aira.

"Because I didn't expect this kind of reaction. People were cruel to us at the time and I was really worried about you. Then today I was preparing to be a shield for Jun and my family, but suddenly there was no need." Erigo chuckled a little. "I don't think I can decide whether or not to be relieved. It's ridiculous, isn't it?"

"You should be relieved. They'll be fine."

Erigo looked back at the screen of his phone. "Why do you think the fans reacted like that?"

Aira just shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know."

"Ahh.. I know." said Erigo eagerly. "Maybe the fans were already anxious because Toddy was getting older and had no partner. So, even though it wasn't Jun, they were definitely supportive right?"

"Toddy isn't that old." replied Aira flatly.

"Stay away. He used to be a leader, lonely, had no partner, some even said he was married to his job" Erigo said. "Me and Devano used to play paper rock scissors to determine who would take care of Toddy after he was older."

Aira laughed out loud. "You two, stop being silly." lick Aira.
