Aira's Choice Man

Eps 17's

Erigo called Aira half an hour after the recording of the show was over. He left the studio just like that right after the word 'cut'. Didn't want to bother staying to speak stale because his mood had fallen apart. He wanders into the waiting room to find Aira but does not find her. Winne's assistant, Raka, tells them they went home first. With mixed feelings he waited for Aira to raise her call.

Aira was having dinner at home with Winne when her phone rang.

"Hello"

"Aira, are you okay?" Erigo skipped the pleasantries.

"I'm doing fine. Is the filming finished?" Aira gave Winne a code so she could talk in the room. Winne replied with a nod of his head.

"just now. I've been looking for you everywhere. What the hell's going on? I saw Winne put you out of the studio." Erigo.

Aira was silent for a while then said gently "Erigo, calm yourself down. I'm really fine." Said Aira without answering Erigo's question.

A little quiet at the end. Then Erigo's voice softened. "Can I see you now? I don't want to say it on the phone, I want to see you in person."

"Could only. Tell me where, I'll be there" Aira said.

They met at a cafe near the intersection not far from Aira's apartment. Choose to sit at the most corner table that is equipped with a partition divider, hiding from the view of other visitors.

Erigo reached out his hand across the table and clasped Aira's hand. His head lowered and his forehead frowned withstanding the headache.

Aira spoke first. "I'm sorry I forced you to record the show"

Erigo shook his head. "It's not your fault Aira, there's no need to apologize. It is precisely I who should apologize to you for having to see the incident earlier. That fucking photo." Erigo said furiously.

Aira was just speechless looking at Erigo who looked extremely tired and angry.

"This is so annoying to Aira. He's the worst man I've ever met in my entire life" Erigo complained. There was a look of hate in his eyes.

Aira stroked Erigo's face with one of her hands. "Looky.. " She said. "What will happen after this?" Ask Aira.

Erigo caught Aira's hand and held it against her cheek then kissed her palm at a glance.

Erigo looked at Aira with serious eyes. "After the damn show airs on Saturday night, it will cause a stir in the media. They're gonna go crazy over Aira." Erigo. "They'll chase me even down the ant hole. I think the other members will also be affected and the work scheduled for the next few weeks will be very difficult to do." Erigo reminded.

Aira was not surprised at all about that. He has seen some celebrities reported dating by the media brutally to the extent of disturbing the artist.

Erigo snorted with disdain. "Moza will take advantage of this situation to raise its popularity. He would say anything to the media. Just imagining it makes me sick." Cetus Erigo again.

"Just spit it out" said Aira origin. I did, thought Aira.

Erigo smiled hearing Aira's words. "Don't believe whatever the media says or broadcasts, no matter what. Whatever Moza said in front of the media, everything was a lie. Don't trust him." Erigo's grip tightens. "Can you do it? I don't want to lose you Aira" he said.

Aira smile. He had already witnessed for himself how terrifying a person like Moza was willing to do anything for the sake of fame.

Aira observed Erigo who looked scowled. "Are you okay?" Ask Aira softly.

Look at the anger back. "I really wanted to curse him, more than that, I wanted him to disappear from the earth" Erigo said.

Winne was brewing coffee when she saw Aira return home. "How's Erigo? Have you talked to him? What's he sayin?" Ask Winne.

Aira nodded, taking a cold drink from the refrigerator. "You have so many questions Anantha" said Aira laughing.

"Damn you, Mareth" Winne laughed. "I'm so worried. You know, I've contacted the company and told you about the incident. They said they will contact other members and most likely other schedules will be disrupted. But if the team can try to protect members, activities will be carried out as usual. But the thing is, those reporters are terrible" Winne said.

Aira nodded. Erigo said the same thing.

Justright. The day after the premiere of Erigo and Moza, the entire internet and social media craze. The entire television station reported about two lovebirds who were back together. The news has been around for almost a week.

Erigo hides from the press. I was tired of the news about him. While people speculate, shepherded opinions, analyzed and even foretold the future of Erigo and Moza.

There are pros and cons between fans. Some agree they are back together, many do not like it.

Not only Erigo who felt difficulties, but all members were affected. Many reporters were after them to ask about Erigo and Moza. When he saw the blood flowing from Aira's temple, his face turned unfriendly and stared angrily at the reporter.

"You should look around you." Angry talk. "What do you want from me? Announcement?" Sharpness.

Erigo still embraces Aira with one hand, with Devano beside him, Toddy and Yansen behind them as well as a manager. He stared at the camera of the reporter. Things become quiet.

Erigo spoke in a low and resolute voice, anger flashing in his eyes.

"Listen to me carefully. I've never had a relationship with a woman named Moza. That relationship ended years ago. If he says otherwise, then it's all a lie to derail the popularity of Summer's group. So stop hooking me up with him or with the group and the members." Erigo.

"Why have you been quiet all this time?" Ask someone from the crowd.

"Color humiliating someone in public isn't my style. But if it's out of bounds and makes someone else hurt, then it's time I talk. Now please give us a way." Erigo said that finally split the crowd.

They left reporters busy filming and photographing. Enter the cool broadcasting building berAC. Yansen curled slowly as she walked and laughed, patting Erigo on the shoulder. "You're so cool" he said.
