The Eps 34

Erigo pulled Aira closer to match her lips to Aira's. His position that had to be lowered made his nape feel a little uncomfortable. Erigo released his lips reluctantly and groaned softly.

"Aackhh...." Erigo lightly scratched his achy back neck.

Aira blinked eliminating the fog in her eyes to look at Erigo. "Why stop? What's going on?" Ask. Aira shifted her seat slightly away in order to better observe Erigo.

Erigo grimaced "I'm sorry dear. My back neck is a little tense." Erigo leaned his head back.

"You okay?" Tanya Aira was worried. "I'll get you some ice cubes." Said Aira as she moved into the kitchen.

Aira brought back an ice bag and helped put it behind Erigo's neck. Erigo himself seemed to close his eyes as he endured the pain.

"What happened to your neck?" Ask Aira.

Erigo clasped Aira's hand to calm her down. "It's okay. This is common for dancers like me. It's a job risk." He said calmly with a smile.

Aira kissed Erigo's hand in her hand. "Is it because of all these movements?" Ask.

"mmm.. Right enough. I've been dancing since I was seven or eight. Then I entered training at the age of ten. After that I debuted in a group of singers who performed energetic songs with dance at the age of 14. I have been dancing until now. So this is appropriate." Erigo said lightly as if it was a commonplace thing.

"When does your neck hurt?" Aira bit her lip in anxiety.

"It's been a long time actually, it's just lately the pain is coming more often." Erigo sat up straight while holding an ice bag in his stalk. "Don't look at me like that. It's okay, baby. The pain will soon be less."

Aira took over the ice bag from Erigo's hand so that the man could be more relaxed. "You've done the check?" Ask again.

"Later after all the album's promotional tour is over." Erigo smiled. He stroked Aira's cheek. "I don't like that look of Aira. I'm really fine. Don't worry."

Aira moved her lower lip. "Of course I'm worried." Ticus. "The tour is done a long time ago. I'm afraid your condition will get worse if it's not treated."

Erigo took the ice bag from Aira's hand and placed it on the table. It didn't take much strength to lift the tiny Aira up on her lap and insert her fingers behind Aira's hair. He kissed her again.

Aira pushed Erigo's chest softly and looked at him. "Don't seduce me. Tell me you're gonna do the check." Force Aira.

A week later Erigo and Aira go to the hospital. While they were walking in the hallway. After all, wouldn't it seem strange if someone caught the couple making an appointment with a doctor at the hospital? They don't want to provoke rumors.

The two entered Yodde's room. Erigo had arranged for his best friend to help him see a chiropractor without causing a stir. The only guy who's excited is Yodde, his best friend.

"Bah... We meet again, sweet lady." He said to Aira.

Aira blushing. "Oh I'm sorry, I don't seem to remember you." Aira said politely. It is not good to forget someone.

Doctor Yodde smiled at him. "It's only natural you don't remember me. You had a fever and passed out at the time, so Erigo called asking me to come check on you at midnight." Yodde. He blinked one eye.

Aira glanced at Erigo who nodded his head at her. "Ohh.. Is correct.. I fainted then. Ii'm sorry. You must have trouble coming in the middle of the night." Said Aira shyly.

Doctor Tex is very friendly. The bespectacled man with a relaxed, calm, charismatic and clearly knowledgeable nature. He raises his glasses with one finger while observing a scan of Erigo's spine on the monitor.

The doctor shook his head dissatisfied at his observation and looked at Yodde who was watching the monitor beside him. Aira clasped Erigo's hand because she was anxious but Erigo just smiled.

"Have you done a check before?" Ask the doctor to Erigo.

Erigo tilted his head while thinking. "Never. But I've been reminded of spinal problems for about a few years now on television shows that invite health workers. He said singers and dancers like me are very prone to it."

Doctor Tex took off his glasses and placed them carefully on the table. "That's right. Many singers and dancers came up with the same problem. It's actually a common problem in a work environment like yours. It's just, the condition comes at a different rate."

Erigo tried to laugh. "Then what level is my condition at?"

"alright. This is called 'spinal stenosis'. The condition is a narrowing of the spine that causes pressure on the nerves. This condition causes the spinal cord to come out of its original position." Obviously doctor Tex. He continued. "This condition can also be caused by several diseases, for your case I see the presence of 'spinal bearing herniation'." Say again.

"What is a doctor?" Tanya Aira was curious.

"Look, as you get older, your spinal pads also become weak. If that happens, the spinal pads can protrude and compress the nerves earlier. This condition is common if you are old. But at your age, the only possible cause is the movements you make while dancing." Said the doctor.

"Is it dangerous?" Ask Aira.

"Cannot be. Don't say that." Erigo said squeezing Aira's fingers to calm her down.

Doctor Tex smiled warmly towards the two of them. "You don't have to worry. Erigo's condition isn't that serious. We can still handle it." The doctor said soothingly. "There are many ways to deal with it. First with medications to reduce swelling and pain. Second, you can compress it either cold if it hurts occasionally or hot if the pain persists. Then the third, you can follow physical therapy to reduce pressure on the nerves. I'll give you a recommendation." Say again.

"That's it?" Aira asked without being able to hide her sense of suspicion.

Doctor Tex chuckles with Yodde. "You're a smart woman miss Aira. The other way is with surgery. But this action is only taken if the three therapies above do not produce results."

Erigo and Aira exhaled a sigh of relief.

"We'll handle it slowly. For now, I'll give you some painkillers to make you more comfortable." Doctor Tex said again. He put his glasses back on, wrote a prescription and some notes and gave them to the nurse.

Doctor Tex looked back at Aira and Erigo. "You should take the medicine regularly, and do not forget to compress if you are sick. I also recommend therapy. You just need to call to arrange when you can. We will see how it develops next month. I hope you won't need surgery."

"We expect the same thing from doctors. Thanks." Thanks." Erigo. They stood up and said goodbye.

Yodde escorted the two to the parking lot. "Be careful driving. Call me again if anything happens, okay." Her speech.

"alright. Thanks for your help, man. See you soon." Erigo.

Aira waved and smiled. "Hopefully have a nice day." Her speech.

They drive into the highway. Erigo glanced at Aira and smiled. "You heard, right? This is okay. So stop worrying." Her speech.

Aira shakes. "You can dance as you like Erigo, but your health is still the most important." Say again.

"alright. I-i understand. Now smile. I'll take you for a walk." Erigo said, then drove his car towards the beach. The beach in winter.
